Abstract

Abon belimbing merupakan inovasi produk pangan berbasis buah yang menghadirkan alternatif baru dalam industri abon. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi potensi buah belimbing (Averrhoa carambola) sebagai bahan dasar pembuatan abon. Proses pembuatan abon belimbing melibatkan pemilihan buah yang matang, pengolahan dengan bumbu tradisional, dan pengeringan hingga mencapai tekstur kering yang menyerupai abon daging. Produk ini menawarkan cita rasa unik dengan perpaduan rasa manis, asam, dan gurih, serta memberikan manfaat kesehatan karena kandungan vitamin C, serat, dan antioksidan yang tinggi dari belimbing. Selain itu, abon belimbing dapat menjadi alternatif bagi konsumen yang menginginkan makanan nabati serta sebagai diversifikasi produk dalam industri kuliner. Hasil uji organoleptik menunjukkan bahwa abon belimbing diterima dengan baik oleh konsumen, terutama dari segi rasa dan tekstur. Produk ini juga memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut dalam skala industri sebagai produk bernilai ekonomi tinggi.

Abstract

Humans are regarded as Homo Educandum, in which teachers hold a key role in the success of the learning process and character formation in education. However, amid the continuously evolving dynamics of education, teachers face various challenges in maintaining their professionalism. This study aims to examine these challenges, including curriculum changes, the integration of digital technology, and student diversity, as well as strategies that can be implemented to enhance teacher professionalism. The research approach employed is a literature review, conducted by collecting and analyzing various reliable sources of information such as academic journals, books, and educational policy documents. The findings indicate that teachers need to improve their pedagogical competence, technological adaptability, and inclusive approaches to meet the demands of a dynamic educational environment. The recommendations proposed include continuous professional development, collaboration among teachers, and the strengthening of the four prerequisites of teacher professionalism according to Samani. Thus, well-maintained teacher professionalism will have a positive impact on the quality of education and the future of the nation’s next generation.

Abstract

Kondisi sosial di Banten menunjukkan bahwa kasus pinjol yang tinggi, prostitusi anak, dan kriminalitas memiliki korelasi erat dengan minimnya pendidikan karakter serta pengawasan keluarga yang lemah. Pinjaman online ilegal sangat meresahkan, Yayasan Lembaga Konsumen Indonesia (YLKI) mencatat 39,5% keluhan terkait cara penagihan yang tidak sesuai aturan, meskipun Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) telah banyak melakukan pemblokiran. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan edukasi dan literasi kepada masyarakat mengenai dampak negatif dari penyakit sosial, khususnya pinjaman online ilegal, prostitusi anak, dan kriminalitas. Program ini dilaksanakan di aula Desa Kalumpang pada 2 Agustus 2025, menggunakan pendekatan edukatif, interaktif, dan partisipatif dengan metode ceramah, diskusi, dan tanya jawab. Materi yang disampaikan mencakup deskripsi penyakit masyarakat, perilaku yang bertentangan dengan norma, cara menemukan solusi, dan peran orang tua. Program ini juga menyasar remaja dan keluarga untuk meningkatkan daya tangkal terhadap narkoba. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa edukasi dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan interaktif terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran warga. Program ini juga menyoroti pentingnya peran keluarga dan perangkat desa dalam menciptakan system pendampingan yang berkelanjutan, sehingga dapat memberdayakan masyarakat agar hidup sehat secara sosial dan hukum.
