Abstract

Pariwisata menjadi salah satu industri yang berkembang dengan sangat cepat. Apalagi wisata di Indonesia sangat kental dengan unsur-unsur sejarah, kebudayaan, dan kearifan lokal, membuat pariwisata menjadi sektor andalan pemerintah dalam meningkatkan perekonomian sekaligus menjaga pelestarian sejarah dan budaya. Berdasarkan survei analisis kebutuhan yang dilakukan dengan beberapa anggota HPI Cabang Palembang, didapatkan bahwa masih ada anggota HPI Cabang Palembang mengalami kendala dan keterbatasan saat mereka bertugas sebagai pemandu wisata di kota Palembang. Berangkat dari permasalahan tersebut, tim Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Prodi Pendidikan Sejarah FKIP Universitas Sriwijaya mengadakan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat untuk anggota HPI Cabang Palembang. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membantu anggota HPI Cabang Palembang dalam memahami secara utuh sejarah dan budaya kota Palembang serta pembuatan buku saku (Pocket Book) sebagai media informasi mereka dalam melaksanakan tugas memandu wisata. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan tajam pemahaman anggota HPI Cabang Palembang terhadap materi sejarah dan budaya Kota Palembang. Pengabdian ini telah dianggap berhasil karena dapat membantu menjawab permasalahan anggota HPI Cabang Palembang dalam memahami sejarah dan budaya kota Palembang.

Abstract

This study examines the evolution and growth of research on ethnic cuisine in Indonesia over a thirty-year period (1993–2023) using a bibliometric analysis. The findings revealed that research in this field has grown with an average annual expansion of 6.7%. Thematic evolution highlights a shift in focus from the cultural and regional aspects of ethnic cuisine to scientific and nutritional dimensions, such as health benefits, functional foods, and modernized practices. Additionally, this study identifies key trends, including the role of gender and age in shaping food preferences, the contrasts between rural and urban dietary behaviors, and influence of globalization on traditional food systems. A trend of collaborative research was observed, with international partnerships involving nations such as Malaysia, Japan, China, and Canada underscoring the global appeal and relevance of Indonesian ethnic food research. This study highlights the growing interdisciplinary and international nature of research in this field. Recommendations for future studies include exploring diverse perspectives,  and expanding cross-national research to address the dynamic challenges and opportunities in ethnic cuisine studies.

Abstract

This study discusses the social and economic impacts of the lebak lebung system on the community of Tanjung Serang Village, Kayuagung District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency during the period 20102022. The lebak lebung system, which is inherited from generation to generation, is a form of traditional auction-based water management that grants management rights to the auction winner (pengemin). The type of research is qualitative with in-depth interview methods, observation, and documentation studies. And the method used is the historical method with a heuristic approach, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The results of the study indicate that the existence of lebak lebung has had a positive impact on increasing community income, opening up employment opportunities, strengthening social interaction, and increasing food security and local economic empowerment. In addition, the integration of local wisdom with regional regulations has encouraged more sustainable and accountable management. In conclusion, the lebak lebung system not only contributes to economic welfare, but also becomes part of the social and cultural identity of the local community.
