Abstract

This article discusses the effectiveness of the Flipped Classroom model in the learning process in elementary schools, especially in understanding mathematical concepts.  This model has been proven to be able to increase students' learning independence and their learning outcomes.  Previous research also shows that this model is effective in improving students' abilities significantly.  The research method used is a literature review from various relevant sources.  The research results show that the Flipped Classroom model can increase students' interest in learning and their ability to understand mathematical concepts.  Several components that influence the success of this model include good interaction between educators and students, the use of technology that supports learning, students' ability to interact and interact, and easy access to online teaching materials.  The Flipped Classroom model allows students to study learning material at home before class meetings, so that class time can be used for more in-depth discussion and application of the material.  The teacher's role in this model is as a facilitator who guides students in the learning process.  Thus, the Flipped Classroom model can be used as an effective alternative in improving student learning outcomes in elementary schools, especially in understanding mathematical concepts

Abstract

Posyandu is one of the key pillars of primary healthcare services at the village level; however, its effectiveness is often hindered by limited skills among health cadres and low community participation. This community service program aimed to improve the quality of Posyandu services through health education, technical training for cadres, and the implementation of collaborative Posyandu activities in Cemplang Village, Serang Regency. The activities involved university students participating in a community service program (KKM), Posyandu cadres, public health center (Puskesmas) staff, village officials, and local residents. Evaluation was carried out using pre-tests and post-tests with six cadres and 20 residents, as well as by observing community participation. The results showed an increase in cadres’ knowledge scores from 68 to 92 (35.3%) and in community members’ scores from 54 to 85 (57.4%). In addition, visits by toddlers to the Posyandu increased by approximately 40% compared to the previous average. These findings indicate that collaborative interventions, interactive education, and hands-on practice can enhance cadres’ skills, improve community knowledge, and boost participation in healthcare services. This model has the potential to be replicated in other areas with cross-sectoral support.

Abstract

Abstract

The strengthening of students’ religious character has become an important concern in elementary education as schools are expected not only to develop cognitive competence but also moral and spiritual values. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the habit of reciting the Qur’an before learning activities in forming students’ religious character at SDN Kedaleman IV. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach to explore the implementation process and its influence on students’ behavior and learning readiness. The research subjects consisted of Islamic Religious Education teachers and students who participate in the recitation activity, while the object of the study focused on the implementation of Qur’anic recitation as a habituation program in the school environment. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the interactive model of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the recitation activity, conducted routinely from Tuesday to Friday before learning begins, contributes positively to the development of students’ religious character, including improved discipline, emotional readiness for learning, confidence in reading the Qur’an, and a more conducive classroom atmosphere. However, challenges remain, particularly differences in students’ reading abilities and limitations of supporting learning facilities. Overall, the study concludes that the habituation of Qur’anic recitation serves as an effective strategy for integrating religious values into daily school culture.
