Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relevance of Al-Farabi's thoughts in the development of competency-based Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in the Society 5.0 era. The research employs a qualitative approach with a literature review method, including an analysis of articles and books related to Al-Farabi's works and ideas, competency-based education, and the challenges faced by PAI in the digital era. The data analysis technique involves an in-depth examination of Al-Farabi's educational principles and their applications. The findings reveal that Al-Farabi's philosophy, which emphasizes the integration of knowledge, morality, and practical skills, is highly relevant in addressing the challenges of Society 5.0. This approach supports the development of a PAI curriculum that is adaptive to technological advancements while fostering a generation that is intellectually capable, morally grounded, and practically skilled to navigate the complexities of the digital era

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan membahas pentingnya pendidikan perempuan berbasis QS. An-Nisa’ Ayat 32 dan QS. An-Nahl Ayat 97 dalam mengatasi ketidaksetaraan gender dalam pendidikan di Indonesia. Meskipun kemajuan telah dicapai, perempuan masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam mengakses pendidikan yang setara, terutama di kalangan masyarakat Indonesia. Penelitian ini menyoroti perlunya kurikulum yang inklusif dan sensitif terhadap gender, serta pelatihan kesadaran gender bagi pendidik untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang tidak diskriminatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwasannya prinsip Al-Qur’an mengedepankan keadilan dan kesetaraan antara laki-laki dan perempuan dalam mendapatkan Pendidikan. Selain itu, dalam Al-Qur’an, Allah juga memberikan tantangan bagi kaum laki-laki dan perempuan untuk mengejar prestasi. Laki-laki dan perempuan memiliki kesempatan yang sama untuk mendapatkan kemakmuran. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendidikan yang setara bagi perempuan bukan hanya penting untuk pengembangan individu, tetapi juga untuk kemajuan sosial dan ekonomi secara keseluruhan, sehingga menciptakan masyarakat yang lebih adil dan inklusif.

Abstract

This study explores Siti Walidah's contribution to shaping the education paradigm based on the Catur Pusat Pendidikan and its relevance to modern Islamic gender discourse. The topic highlights the critical role of women in achieving gender equality, addressing challenges like unequal education access and entrenched gender stereotypes. Using a library research method with descriptive-qualitative analysis, the study finds that the Catur Pusat Pendidikan promotes quality education for women and empowers them to engage actively in social and political spheres. However, challenges such as gender bias and limited infrastructure hinder its implementation. Despite these obstacles, significant prospects for progress exist, particularly through technology and multi-stakeholder collaboration. The study underscores the importance of inclusive, high-quality education for women and advocates for sustained efforts to transform traditional gender paradigms. Recommendations include expanding educational access in remote areas and equipping women with digital skills to enhance their participation in the modern era.

Abstract

This study explores the revitalization of the values of gotong royong (mutual cooperation) and noble character in the framework of strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile (P5) based on Qur'anic values. Amidst rapid social and technological transformations, traditional values such as solidarity and ethics are eroding. This research employs a literature study to analyze Qur'anic principles as foundational elements for character education in Indonesia's Merdeka Curriculum. The findings highlight that gotong royong fosters communal solidarity and empathy, rooted in Qur'anic teachings like QS. Al-Maidah 2, which emphasizes cooperation for virtue. Similarly, noble character, drawn from prophetic examples in QS. Al-Ahzab 21, underlines moral integrity, empathy, and social harmony. The integration of these values through P5 involves collaborative projects, daily behavioral reinforcement, and reflective practices. These initiatives cultivate students' intellectual, social, and spiritual balance, preparing them as socially responsible individuals. The study concludes with recommendations for systematic strategies to embed these values into educational curricula, ensuring a holistic approach to developing resilient and ethical youth.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education continues to face significant challenges in cultivating students’ reflective awareness of religious values. The dominance of textual and memorization-based approaches has hindered the integration of religious teachings into students’ affective and spiritual dimensions. This conceptual study explores how the deep learning approach can foster students’ metacognitive competence in PAI instruction. Drawing on a literature review of educational theories and previous research, the study finds that deep learning strategies—such as reflective discussions, case studies, problem-based learning, self-assessment, and reflective journaling—significantly enhance students’ metacognitive awareness. This enhancement is evident through several indicators: (1) the ability to plan and regulate thinking processes (metacognitive regulation), (2) awareness of personal strengths and weaknesses in understanding religious teachings (self-evaluation), (3) the capacity to connect Islamic concepts with real-life contexts (cognitive-affective integration), and (4) critical reflection on personal religious values and beliefs (value-based awareness). As a result, religious education transforms from mere knowledge transmission into a meaningful process of nurturing self-aware, reflective, and ethically grounded religious character. The study recommends that PAI educators consistently integrate deep learning approaches into instructional design and engage in ongoing pedagogical training to facilitate the development of authentic spiritual awareness through meaningful learning experiences.

Abstract

Artikel ini menganalisis metode pengajaran Nabi Muhammad SAW sebagai teladan pedagogis untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan agama di era modern. Pendekatan yang inklusif, dialogis, dan berbasis konteks sosial Nabi digunakan sebagai model utama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis konten dengan pendekatan kualitatif, memanfaatkan sumber-sumber literatur seperti hadis, buku pendidikan Islam, dan penelitian terdahulu. Melalui analisis ini, ditemukan bahwa metode pengajaran Nabi tidak hanya efektif dalam transfer ilmu, tetapi juga dalam pembentukan karakter dan penguatan iman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan pedagogis Nabi, seperti hubungan interpersonal, pengajaran berbasis konteks, dan penguatan nilai moral, relevan untuk mengatasi tantangan pendidikan agama di era digital. Implementasi metode ini diharapkan mampu menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang lebih efektif, relevan, dan inspiratif, sehingga mendukung tercapainya keseimbangan antara dimensi kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik dalam pendidikan agama Islam.This article explores the teaching methods of Prophet Muhammad SAW as a pedagogical model to improve the quality of religious education in the modern age. The Prophet’s inclusive, dialogical, and contextually relevant approach forms the core model. The study utilizes content analysis with a qualitative methodology, drawing on sources such as hadiths, Islamic education literature, and prior research. The analysis indicates that the Prophet’s methods are not only effective for knowledge transfer but also for character development and faith enhancement. The findings highlight that the Prophet’s pedagogical strategies such as fostering interpersonal relationships, context-based instruction, and emphasizing moral values remain highly relevant in addressing contemporary challenges in religious education, especially in the digital era. Adopting these methods is expected to create a more effective, relevant, and inspiring learning environment, thereby ensuring a balanced development of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor dimensions in Islamic education.
