Abstract

An E-textbook of Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) is an important device that supports the on-line practical aspects of the teaching Arabic as a foreign language (TAFL). The present study was aimed at describing the characteristics of the design and discourse of the Schulz’s E-textbooks of MSA. The study focused on Schulz MSA E-Textbook as an instructional material package of standard Arabic of the intermediate levels (B1 and B2 levels). The study used the qualitative research approach with the discourse-analysis method of data analyses.The results showed the following findings. The design of the E-package is web-based with multimedia as resources. The content prioritizes on grammar material in each initial lesson unit of the textbook. Although standard modern Arabic is used as the language variant for the language skills, colloquial language variants are given sufficient attention that can be accessed only in the E-edition version of the package. In terms of the contents of the discourse, a wide selection of texts are used with varied themes in the field of education, social affairs, economy, culture,  politics,  religion, environment,  and technology. Citations embedded in header texts do not always match the contents of the discourse. The religious discourse pieces in the materials seem to be positioned more as socio-cultural facts rather than as theological facts. Keywords: E-textbook, Modern Standard Arabic, discourse, learning material  DESAIN DAN WACANA BUKU PELAJARAN BAHASA ARAB BAKU AbstrakBuku ajar elektronik bahasa Arab standar merupakan perangkat penting yang mendukung aspek-aspek praktis online pada pembelajaran bahasa Arab sebagai bahasa asing (PBABA). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan karakteristik desain dan muatan wacana buku ajar elektronik bahasa Arab Standar. Kajian difokuskan pada e-text karya Eckehard Schulz yang banyak digunakan di Indonesia dan dibatasi pada tingkat menengah (tingkat B1-B2). Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis wacana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan temuan berikut. Desain e-textbook MSA Schulz berkarakter web based dengan multimedia sebagai resources. Kontennya memprioritaskan materi tata bahasa di setiap awal pelajaran. Meskipun keterampilan berbahasa Arab ditekankan pada penggunaan variasi standar atau modern language, variasi colloquial language mendapat perhatian cukup memadai yang hanya dapat diakses dalam versi e-edition. Dari segi muatan wacana, ia menghadirkan banyak muatan seperti pendidikan, sosial, ekonomi, budaya, politik, agama, lingkungan, dan teknologi. Kutipan yang disematkan di setiap header halaman tidak selalu cocok dengan isi wacana. Yang menarik, wacana agama di dalamnya terlihat lebih diposisikan sebagai fakta sosial-budaya daripada fakta teologis. Kata kunci: buku elektronik, bahasa Arab standar, wacana, kegiatan pembelajaran

Abstract

One type of cooperative learning methods is Think Pair Share (TPS). This study aimed at examining the contribution of the TPS method in increasing students' critical thinking in Islamic studies. Particularly, the study investigated the significances of the difference between learned students using TPS method and conventional method, and the effectiveness of TPS learning method. This study used an experimental group and a control group. It is a quasi-experiment with pre-test and post-tests non equivalent control group design. The population of this research are students who take courses in Islamic studies. Samples are taken randomly by taking two classes for an experimental class and a control class. The technique of collecting data was tests, while the technique of data analysis used the statistical technique of t-test (independent and paired samples) within the application of the SPSS release 24 program. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant difference (sig .000) between groups of students who are taught by the TPS Method and conventional Method. In addition, the TPS method has also proven to be effective for teaching Islamic studies which shows a significant difference (sig .000) between the pre-test and post-test.

Abstract

Abstract This paper discusses altruism in QS. Al-Hasyr verse 9 in Tafsir al-Tanwir wa al-Tahrir and al-Mizan fi al-Tafsir represented by lafadz خصاصة. Altruism is very important to be studied moreover it is related to the problems of the family of the 4.0 era today which are rife with discrimination of women, divorce, and economic problems. Returning to the values of religious altruism is one solution to build a family defense that is sakinah mawaddah and warahmah. The purpose of this study is to understand the comparison of Tafsir al-Tanwir wa al-Tahrir and al-Mizan fi al-Tafsir to understanding altruism khasasah and their implications for family defense in the 4.0 era. To achieve the objectives, the method use id qualitative method with a semantic approach. Through this reading the results obtained in study are; fist; altruism is understood as a voluntary activity carried out by a person or group to help others without expecting anything in return. Second; khasasahin QS. Al-Hasyr verse 9 has several meanings namely; 1) loving his brother because of God, 2) generous and far from being miserly, 3) putting this brother ahead of himself. Through this understanding, the implications derived from the substance of this study are the creation of altruism as a stronghold in the family in this era. Keywords: altruism, QS. Al-Hasyr: 9, Tafsir al-Tanwir wa al-Tanwir, al-Mizan fi al-Tafsir. Abstrak Tulisan ini membahas tentang altruisme dalam QS. Al-Hasyr ayat 9 pada Tafsir al-Tanwir wa al-Tahrir dan al-Mizan fi al-Tafsir yang direpresentasikan oleh lafadz خصاصة. Altruisme sangat penting dikaji apalagi dikaitkan dengan problem keluarga era 4.0 dewasa ini yang marak dengan diskriminasi perempuan, perceraiaan dan problem ekonomi. Mengembalikan pada nilai-nilai altruisme agama menjadi salah satu solusi untuk membangun pertahanan keluarga yang sakinah, mawaddah dan warahmah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami komparasi Tafsir al-Tanwir wa al-Tahrir dan al-Mizan fi al-Tafsir terhadap pemahaman altruisme khasasahdan implikasinya terhadap pertahanan keluarga di era 4.0. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan semantik. Melalui pembacaai ini, hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah; pertama; altruisme dipahami sebagai kegiatan suka rela yang dilakukan seseorang atau kelompok untuk menolong orang lain tanpa mengharapkan imbalan apapun. Kedua; lafad khasasah dalam QS. Al-Hasyr ayat 9 memiliki beberapa makna yaitu; 1) mencintai saudaranya karena Allah, 2) dermawan dan jauh dari sifat kikir, 3) mengutamakan saudaranya daripada dirinya sendiri. Melalui pemahaman ini, implikasi yang didapat dari substansi penelitian ini adalah terciptanya altruisme sebagai benteng pertahanan dalam keluarga di era sekarang ini. Kata Kunci: altruisme, QS. Al-Hasyr: 9, Tafsir al-Tanwir wa al-Tahrir, al-Mizan fi al-Tafsir.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis manajemen pembelajaran berbasis online bagi guru sekolah dasar di tengah pandemi covid 19 di Indonesia ditinjau dari perencanaan pembelajaran, organisasi pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, mobilisasi pembelajaran, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara kuantitatif dengan teknik survei. Populasi penelitian adalah 565 guru SD di 34 kabupaten/kota di Indonesia dengan sampel 427 guru yang dipilih secara acak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada guru sekolah dasar secara online. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan mencari nilai persentase dan menyajikannya dalam bentuk diagram batang dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pembelajaran berbasis online untuk guru sekolah dasar di tengah pandemi covid 19 pandemi di Indonesia belum dilaksanakan secara optimal. Kesimpulan ini didasarkan pada hasil analisis data dimana persentase kriteria ideal untuk setiap komponen belum mencapai 50%. Pada komponen perencanaan pembelajaran, guru yang selalu membuat rencana adalah 47%. Guru yang selalu menyelenggarakan pembelajaran online sebanyak 30,46%. Aplikasi yang paling banyak digunakan oleh guru dalam pembelajaran online adalah WhatsApp sebanyak 25,1%. Pergerakan pembelajaran online selalu hanya dilakukan oleh 40,55% guru. Guru yang selalu mengawasi hanya 33,76%. Kata Kunci: Manajemen Pembelajaran Online, Guru SD, Pandemi Covid 19 ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to analyze online-based learning management for elementary school teachers in the midst of the covid 19 pandemic in Indonesia in terms of lesson planning, learning organization, learning implementation, learning mobilization, and learning evaluation. The research was conducted quantitatively with survey techniques. The study population was 565 elementary school teachers in 34 districts/cities in Indonesia with a sample of 427 teachers who were randomly selected. Data were collected by means of a questionnaire distributed to primary school teachers online. The data analysis technique was carried out by finding the percentage value and presenting it in the form of a bar chart with the help of SPSS version 23. The results showed that online-based learning management for elementary school teachers in the midst of the covid 19 pandemic in Indonesia had not been implemented optimally. This conclusion is based on the results of data analysis where the percentage of the ideal criteria for each component has not yet reached 50%. In the lesson planning component, teachers who always make plans are 47%. Teachers who always organize online learning are 30.46%. The most widely used application by teachers in online learning is WhatsApp as much as 25.1%. The movement of online learning is always only carried out by 40.55% of teachers. Teachers who always supervise only 33.76%.Keywords: Online Learning Management, Elementary School Teachers, Covid 19 Pandemic

Abstract

Gagasan moderasi agama dalam pendidikan memiliki prinsip moderat dalam setiap lini kehidupan manusia, baik aqidah, ibadah dan muamalah. Moderasi beragama telah digambarkan dalam al-Qur’an sebagai bentuk karakter jujur, opend mind, luwes, terintegrasi, holistic dan universal. Karakter iniah yang harus dibentuk oleh pendidikan Islam di Indonesia terhadap semua anak didikan dengan dasar materi keIslaman. Semua materi pendidikan Islam diatas disajikan dengan cara dan teknik yang menjunjung tinggi nilai dan prinsip-prinsip moderasi beragama sehingga menumbuhkan karakter dan pribadi yang memiliki keluwesan, cinta kasih, pluralis, kepedulian dan mampu berlaku adil dan tengah-tengah dalam menghadapi setiap masalah yang datang dan semakin banyak generasi pluralitas yang saling menghargai perbedaan, cinta keberagaman dalam keberagamaan sehingga Indonesia menjadi Negara yang Baldatun Thoyyibatun Wa Rabbun Ghafur.

Abstract

Novel "Banāt al-Riyāḍ" yang ditulis oleh Rajā’ al-Shānea mengisahkan empat tokoh utama, yaitu Qamrah, Sedeem, Lumeis, dan Michelle, dalam perjalanan asmara mereka ketika berusia dua puluhan. Perjalanan kisah mereka dalam novel ini memunculkan rumusan masalah tentang berbagai kebutuhan kemanusiaan yang sesuai dengan teori humanistik Abraham Maslow. Melalui penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis kebutuhan kemanusiaan yang diperlukan oleh masing-masing tokoh utama dalam novel "Banāt al-Riyāḍ" karya Rajā’ al-Shānea, yang kemudian akan dianalisis menggunakan teori humanistik.

Abstract

This article is written based on three problem formulations, namely (1) how is the Application of the Project Based Learning Model to the Learning Outcomes of Islamic Religious Education Subjects and Budi Pekerti at SMK BP Subulul Huda Kembangsawit?, (2) What are the advantages and disadvantages of the Project Based Learning Model to the Learning Outcomes of Islamic Religious Education Subjects and Budi Pekerti at SMK BP Subulul Huda Kembangsawit?, and (3) Is there an Effect of the application of the Project Based Learning Model on the Learning Outcomes of Islamic Religious Education Subjects and Budi Pekerti at SMK BP Subulul Huda Kembangsawit?. This research results that first; the Project Based Learning method is a fitting and suitable method applied to Islamic Religious Education and Budi Pekerti material. Second, there are several advantages and disadvantages in the application of PJB method. Third, the application of the PJBL method is very influential on the achievement (learning outcomes) of SMK BP Subulul Huda Kembangsawit students, this is evidenced by the results of the above calculations which are very significant.

Abstract

Nowedays the technological development had been spreaded in many areas, especially in education, changed from old toward new system. Based on this phenomena, the researcher wanted to identify the strength and the weaknesses in undertaking of the application of Flipped classroom learning model on the subject of Aqidah Akhlaq toward students of MA Raudlotul Banat Sidoarjo. The problems are the students had spared their times using gadget or the other technological tools not to develop their academic achievement. This research aims at implementing descriptive qualitative methods. The research had planned to conduct Flipped Classroom implementation in collaboration with Bela H. Bahathy learning.

Abstract

Kupang City, located in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) province, stands out for its notable success in fostering tolerance among religious communities. Its significance lies in (a) being the largest city in NTT, (b) having a longstanding history of Islamic development, and (c) the proclamation of local leaders demonstrating a firm commitment to preserving Kupang as an exemplar of religious harmony. In light of these aspects, the authors conducted qualitative field research on Muslim village communities in Kupang to explore how harmony is maintained among religious groups. This research is based on the theoretical assumption that understanding the world requires a native point of approach, relying on the researcher's perspective. The findings reveal that a crucial foundation for harmony among religious communities is the residents' highly tolerant attitude, reflecting the active tolerance embedded in local wisdom. This local wisdom is further reinforced by the recognition of diversity as a defining feature of Kupang City's identity. The actualization of this value is evident in religious and cultural traditions, exemplified by the Siripuan tradition in Airmata Village. The dynamic nature of harmony among religious communities is underscored, with one contributing factor being the lower positive feelings experienced by minorities compared to the majority. Addressing this discrepancy is crucial for anticipating and mitigating potential challenges among Muslim minorities.
