Abstract

This research aims to determine the characteristics, components, and structure of the education management information system and the development program of the education management information system. This study uses the literature review method as the main approach. The steps taken in this literature study include Source Identification, Literature Selection Criteria, Data Analysis and Synthesis, and Literature Validation and Triangulation. The results of the data analysis indicate that the Education Management Information System (SIMDIK) is a system specifically designed to assist educational institutions in managing information effectively, efficiently, and accurately. SIMDIK supports managerial and operational functions through the collection, processing, storage, and presentation of data. The main characteristics of SIMDIK include system integration, real-time capability, high accuracy, and support for decision-making. These characteristics enable educational institutions to enhance the quality of governance comprehensively. The components of SIM consist of Hardware, Software, Database, Work Procedures, Human Resources (brainware), and Networks and Communication. The development of educational data and information heavily relies on data digitization, input quality, and the utilization of analytical technology to support evidence-based education evaluation and planning.

Abstract

This article aims to understand the integration of the values of the Qur'an and Hadith in the management of Islamic education curriculum: a theoretical study. This research uses a library research method that is qualitative-theoretical in nature. The primary sources include the Qur'an, the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), as well as relevant books of tafsir and explanations of Hadith. Secondary sources include scholarly books, academic journals, dissertations, and educational policy documents related to curriculum management and Islamic education. Data analysis is conducted descriptively-qualitatively, with a content analysis approach to the content of the literature being studied. The results of the analysis are then synthesized to formulate a conceptual model or framework of thought. The results of the data analysis show that the use of terms in education based on the Qur'an and Sunnah is crucial, as it will influence the concept of education, especially education in the Islamic sense. The understanding of education will underpin the goals, methods, and even the curriculum of education itself. Merely adopting all terms or combining them as an effort to accommodate is not sufficient, given that their structure and emphasis will differ. If ta’dib is the term that best represents education in Islam, then adab will become a focal point in overall education, not just in religious education. The process of self-development and teaching is an essential part of education to achieve the goals of humans as servants of Allah.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the concept and paradigm of education quality at the primary, secondary, and tertiary levels. The approach used is library research with systematic searches through various databases such as Google Scholar, ERIC, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, DOAJ, and the Garuda national repository. The literature analysed includes scientific books, reputable national and international journals, proceedings, and policy documents published between 2000 and 2025. The selection process was carried out by considering the relevance to the theme of quality and educational paradigms, as well as the availability of full texts in Indonesian or English. Data analysis was conducted qualitatively using content analysis techniques. The results of the study show that a culture of quality is a foundation of values that creates an environment conducive to continuous quality improvement, especially in the context of Islamic education based on Islamic values. In addition, the competitiveness of higher education institutions is determined by their ability to maintain excellence through quality improvement, innovation, and services that meet the needs of the world of work. This competitiveness is strengthened by the quality of human resources, educational programmes, technology, governance, and a culture of quality that is consistently developed. Thus, strengthening quality, establishing a culture of quality, and increasing competitiveness are strategic elements in ensuring the sustainability of educational institutions amid global dynamics and the ever-evolving needs of society.
