Abstract

The use of social media in Indonesia has significantly increased, providing a platform for individuals to interact and share information. However, this increase is accompanied by a rise in cybercrime, including online fraud, identity theft, and cyberbullying. This study aims to analyze the influence of social media on the increase of cybercrime in Indonesia, focusing on the factors that contribute to users' vulnerability. Data shows that the lack of digital literacy and critical thinking skills among social media users is a primary cause of the increasing risk of cybercrime. Additionally, social media algorithms that display content based on user preferences can exacerbate the problem of spreading false and manipulative information. Therefore, collaborative efforts between the government, private sector, and society are needed to raise awareness of digital security and establish stronger regulations to protect users from cyber threats

Abstract

The evaluation of handling sexual violence cases against children in Indonesia shows that although policies and regulations have been formulated, their implementation still faces various challenges. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of child protection policies, including Law No. 35 of 2014 and Law No. 12 of 2022 concerning Sexual Violence Crimes (TPKS). The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results indicate that successes in handling cases of sexual violence against children are reflected in the increasing public awareness to report and the improved support services for victims. However, many obstacles remain, such as limited human resources, social stigma, and a lack of coordination among agencies. Recommendations for improvement include strengthening inter-agency coordination, training for professionals, and community awareness campaigns to prevent and report cases of sexual violence.

Abstract

The General Election Commission Regulation (PKPU) Number 9 of 2020 governs the nomination of regional heads, including provisions for former corruption convicts. From the perspective of Islamic political ethics, it is crucial to analyze this policy to understand its implications for leadership integrity and public morality. Islamic political ethics emphasizes that leaders should possess noble character and be free from disgraceful acts, such as corruption. Therefore, although legally former corruption convicts may run for office after meeting certain requirements, from the standpoint of Islamic political ethics, this may be considered inconsistent with the principles of clean and trustworthy leadership. This analysis highlights the importance of considering moral and ethical values in the regional head election process to ensure the establishment of a government that is both integral and trusted by the public

Abstract

Pengelolaan keuangan desa menjadi wewenang desa yang dijabarkan dalam Peraturan Desa (Perdes) tentang anggaran dan pendapatan belanja desa (APB Desa). Dengan sumber pendapatan yang berasal dari pendapatan asli desa seperti hasil usaha desa, hasil swadaya dan partisipasi, hasil gotong royong dan lain-lain pendapatan asli desa yang sah. Bagaimana upaya menciptakan tata kelola keuangan desa dalam menciptakan good governance di Desa Jatipunggur Kecamatan Lengkong Kabupaten Nganjuk ? Riset menggunakan pendekatan doktrinal dan nondoktrinal dengan analisis deskriptif preskriptif berdasarkan data kualitatif hasil observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil Penelitiandengan melaksanakan empat prinsip sebagai berikut: (a). Pengawasan yang dilaksanakan pada kegiatan sebelum kegiatan tersebut dilakukan, waktu proses pelaksanaan dan diakhir program, agar mampu mencegah terjadinya kegiatan yang melenceng; (b). Tata kelola keuangan desa dalam mewujudkan pemerintahan yang baik pada prinsip daya tanggap sangat merespon inisiasi dan inisiatif-inisiatif mulai dari tingkat bawah sampai tingkat atas, dikarenakan ada beberapa rapat-rapat yang menetapkan unsur- unsur masyarakat, mulai dari RT juga sudah ada kepedulian dari pemerintah dengan memberikan intensif meskipun intensif yang diberikan pemerintah belum sesuai dengan yang seharusnya diterima oleh para lembaga rukun tetangga; (c). Transparansi masyarakat dapat ikut sekaligus mengawasi sehingga kebijakan yang muncul bisa memberikan hasil yang optimal bagi masyarakat serta mencegah terjadinya kecurangan dan manipulasi yang hanya akan menguntungkan salah satu kelompok masyarakat.
