Abstract

Curriculum in general is a set of plans and arrangements regarding objectives, content and learning materials as well as methods used as guidelines for implementing learning activities to achieve certain educational goals. Islamic religious education is one of the government's efforts to educate the nation's children based on Islamic religious values and noble morals. The aim of this research is to look in more detail at the position of the PAI curriculum in the National Education System Law no. 20 of 2003; three basic principles are used as the basis for PAI: the juridical basis, which consists of an ideal basis, namely the basic philosophy of the State of Pancasila, the first principle, belief in the one, and only God. Structural/constitutional basis, namely constitution (UUD) 1945 Chapter Religious basis, which comes from Al-Qur’an and Hadith. For Muslims, Islamic religious education is mandatory. The psychological basis is the basis related to the psychological aspects of people's lives. The position of Islamic Religious Education in the National Education system is explained in Article 15 of the National Education System Law no. 20 of 2003; in Article 12, section (1) religious education is taught by religious teachers who are in accordance with the students' religion. To fulfill students' rights to religious education, Article 37 paragraph (1) states that the primary and secondary education curriculum must contain religious education, paragraph 2. The higher education curriculum must include religious education, citizenship education, and language. This means that PAI teachers and lecturers have a strong foundation for developing the Islamic Religious Education teaching process in schools/madrasahs and universities

Abstract

The Outcome-Based Education (OBE) approach is applied to improve active engagement and student learning outcomes that are still limited in the traditional curriculum. The development of OBE-based RPS with MBKM integration is a potential solution to improve the quality of education. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of OBE-based RPS in improving cognitive learning outcomes, learning activities, and student soft skills. This study used a quasi-experimental method with control and experimental groups. The experimental group applied OBE-based RPS and while the control group applied conventional RPS. The subjects of this study amounted to 40 college students. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The results showed that the experimental group achieved a 96% completion rate, much higher than the control group which only reached 64%. The project-based learning model and problem solving applied to the experimental group were also proven to improve creativity, soft skills, and student learning outcomes. The OBE-based RPS proved effective in improving cognitive, psychomotor, affective learning outcomes and student competencies. Project-based learning and problem solving strengthen students' activities and involvement in the learning process, and prepare them to face global challenges. The OBE-based RPS proved to be more effective than the conventional RPS in improving students' learning outcomes, cognitive, psychomotor, and affective skills.

Abstract

Distribution in Islam is a fundamental concept that emphasizes economic justice, equitable welfare, and the prevention of wealth concentration among specific groups. This study aims to analyze the Islamic perspective on distribution by employing a literature review supported by Qur’anic and Prophetic foundations. The findings indicate that Islamic distribution encompasses two key dimensions: the distribution of goods and services through lawful market mechanisms, and the distribution of income through Sharī‘ah-based instruments such as zakat, infaq, sadaqah, gifts, and inheritance. Foundational principles including the prohibition of riba and gharar, the concept of ownership as a trust, and the obligation to uphold social justice play a crucial role in regulating the flow of wealth. Comparisons with capitalist and socialist systems reveal that the Islamic model provides a balanced structure that integrates individual freedom with social responsibility. Ethical guidelines demanding transparency, honesty, and spiritual orientation further strengthen the system’s effectiveness. Thus, the Islamic distribution framework offers significant contributions to developing just and applicable economic theories for contemporary economic challenges.
