Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi pembelajaran Inkuiri terbimbing terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika pada materi suhu dan kalor dilihat dari kemampuan awal siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen menggunakan dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas X SMA Negeri 10 Malang semester genap tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Sampel terdiri atas kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yang dipilih secara cluster random sampling. Kelas eksperimen belajar menggunakan Inkuiri terbimbing dan kelas kontrol belajar menggunakan Pembelajaran Konvensional. Pembelajaran dilakukan pada materi suhu dan kalor. Data yang didapatkan dianalisis menggunakan Analisis varian dua Jalur. Pengaruh pembelajaran diuji dengan uji Tukey. Hasil analisis menunjukkan ada pengaruh kemampuan awal siswa terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah serta kemampuan memecahkan masalah Fisika kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol. Kata kunci: Inkuiri terbimbing, kemampuan pemecahan masalah Fisika, materi Suhu dan kalor, kemampuan awal

Abstract

Guru masa depan wajib menguasai ICT dan menggunakannya untuk mengembangkan iklim pembelajaran yang konstruktivis. Salah satu bentuk penguasaan ICT yang ditunjukkan guru adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran dengan mengaplikasikan software tertentu. Pelatihan pembuatan video pembelajaran dengan menggunakan software sparkol videoscribe ini adalah untuk mengembangkan kompetensi pedagogis guru dalam mendesain atau membuat video pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran tematik di sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah ceramah dan workshop, yang melibatkan tim sebagai narasumber. Ceramah terkait dengan konten pelatihan berupa  prinsip desain perangkat pembelajaran termasuk media pembelajaran. Konten dan prosedur ini dilakukan untuk mentransmisikan pengetahuan atau wawasan peserta, sebelum dilatih, sedangkan workshop bertujuan untuk melatih keterampilan peserta untuk membuat video pembelajaran. Hasil pretes dan posttes yang dicapai oleh peserta menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan peserta dalam mendesain perangkat pembelajaran dan media pembelajaran. Terkait dengan kemampuan mendesain perangkat pembelajaran, dari yang sebelumnya 90% menggunakan desain pembelajaran pada buku guru meningkat menjadi 80% kemampuan guru dalam mendesain perangkat pembelajaran mandiri yang relevan dan benar baik dalam menentukan tujuan instruktusional maupun metode serta model pembelajaran sesuai sintaknya. Selain itu, kemampuan mendesain media pembelajaran dari yang semula 80% menggunakan media visual dari buku atau charta serta 20% menggunakan media visual dari internet, meningkat menjadi 70% yang mendesain video pembelajaran dengan menggunakan sparkol videoscribe.

Abstract

The problem that often occurs in students who will do practicum is the lack of experience / prerequisite skills to do practicum. With this condition, it means that practice does not have innate skills from the previous level of education. The purpose of this study is to describe the basic skills of students of the Physics Education Study Program at PGRI Kanjuruhan University Malang in the Basic Physics Practicum course in using basic measuring instruments and skills in analyzing direct and indirect measurement results. Data collection was carried out using observation sheets and interviews. Purposive sampling is a technique carried out by determining samples with certain considerations. The length measurement skills obtained from 12 students were using a crossbar 64.3% skilled, using a caliper 55.95% skilled, using a screw micrometer 57.14% skilled. The mass measurement skills obtained are using a digital balance of 65.48% skilled, using a three-arm balance of 54.76% skilled. The time measurement skills obtained are using an analog stopwatch 63.10% skilled and using a digital stopwatch 60.71%. The indirect measurement skills obtained are that in measuring the volume of the copper cube 56.47% skillful, the density of the iron ball there are 53.57% skilled students.

Abstract

Teachers have an important role to produce the next generation of the nation. Future teachers need to keep up with technological developments in learning. One of the technologies needed in learning is designing learning media with the help of sparkol videoscribe. Sparkol videoscribe serves as an intuitive tool for creating animated whiteboards and explainer videos. The implementation of the workshop consists of 5 stages of preparation, mentoring, making videos with the sparkol videoscribe application, validating the resulting learning videos and improving the videos until they are suitable for use. This activity was attended by KKG cluster one Saparua District, Central Maluku. The result obtained in this service is that the teachers gave a positive response regarding this activity. Teacher competence in making media in the form of learning videos obtained results as much as 75% suitable for use, but after there was an improvement increased to 93% of the learning videos produced suitable for use.

Abstract

This research aims to describe how future physics teachers study mathematical physics. Physics students must master the existing material in Mathematical Physics mathematics well, thoroughly, and collaboratively. Data collection is done with lifts, interviews, and observations. Research results show that the learning process needs to be more contextual, less applicative, and highly dominant in mathematics; less attractive teaching materials and lectures are not designed to equip students with the skills of the 21st century. Learning does not use technology to help students solve physical problems. It causes students difficulty learning mathematical methods in physics. In fact, in learning mathematical physics, students must master the concepts related to mathematics tools and their applications. The ability to mathematically solve problems of physical phenomena and give meaning to mathematical models is built into critical aspects of learning. The solution that can be applied is to apply technology using software applications like Maple.

Abstract

Pada abad 21 perangkat ajar perlu terintegrasi dengan perkembangan teknologi. Perangkat ajar fisika didalamnya perlu mengandung unsur pendekatan scientific berbasis teknologi. Salah satu yang perlu diperhatikan dan dikembangkan adalah modul praktikum. Penggunaan modul praktikum yang tepat dan mengandung unsur teknologi di dalamnya akan menciptakan suasana yang yang menyenangkan sehingga menambah minat peserta didik dalam bereksperimen. Salah satu perangkat ajar yang dibutuhkan berupa pengembangan modul pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengembangkan modul berbantuan phyphox untuk menentukan nilai konstanta pegas dengan metode statis, dinamis, dan berbantuan phyphox. Teori yang digunakan dalam pengembangan modul adalah analyze, design, develop, implement, dan evaluate yang disingkat ADDIE. Modul divalidasi oleh 3 validator dengan uji terbatas pada 12 mahasiswa. Hasil yang didapat dari validator tentang isi materi, media, maupun dari responden dengan kriteria layak. Semakin besar pemuluran pada pegas, maka nilai k yang di dapatkan akan semakin kecil. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai k berbanding terbalik dengan besar kecilnya simpangan atau pertambahan panjang pada pegas (Δx).

Abstract

Physics is a science that is directly related to daily life events. In studying physics in schools, it is inseparable from the role of laboratories as the main support for learning success, so it is necessary to have facilities and infrastructure in the form of practicum tools. For schools that do not have laboratories, it is necessary to collaborate with other agencies such as universities. The purpose of this service is in the form of Open Laboratory activities, namely providing practicum assistance to schools with inadequate equipment facilities. The Open Lab activity was carried out at SMA Islam Diponegoro with several stages, namely coordinating with teachers in the field of study about practicum needs, implementation schedules, preparation stages for modules to be used, practicum mentoring process, data analysis using excel and word and evaluation of activity results.. The average results of the pre-test were 102.71, the post-test was 146.37, and the N-Gain value was 0.60 with the medium category. This shows that there is a positive response from students due to the practicum. The results obtained in the service activities are the preparation of practicum modules, the creation of more meaningful learning. This service also received a good response from teachers and students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui :(1)perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah antara penerapan pembelajaran discoveri dengan ekspositori (2). Perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah antara siswa yang mempunyai kemampuan gaya kognitif field independent dengan field dependent. (3).Pengaruh interaksi pembelajaran discoveri dan gaya kognitif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu yang melibatkan 120 siswa SMA, dengan rancangan percobaan analisis factor 2x2, dan rancangan penelitian pre test post test control group design. Ada 3 variable yang digunakan yaitu variable bebas strategi pembelajaran discoveri, dan variable terikat kemampuan pemecahan masalah, sedang gaya kognitif sebagai variable moderator. Data gaya kognitif diperoleh melalui angket, sedangkan data tentang kemampuan pemecahan masalah diperoleh melalui tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1) ada perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah, antara penerapan pembelajaran discoveri dengan ekspositori (2). Ada perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah antara siswa yang mempunyai kemampuan gaya kognitif field independent dengan field dependent; 3) ada pengaruh interaksi antara pembelajaran discoveri dan gaya kognitif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah

Abstract

This research explores the identification of physics concepts, particularly heat and temperature, within the traditional process of pottery-making. The stages of pottery production naturally involve thermal processes such as heat transfer and temperature variations. Employing a qualitative descriptive method with an ethnoscientific (cultural study) approach, this study involved two participants a man and a woman who are pottery artisans in Kasongan, Bantul, Yogyakarta. Data were collected through interviews, direct observations, and documentation. The findings show that the drying and firing phases in pottery production clearly demonstrate the application of heat and temperature principles. The ethnoscience approach proves to be an effective bridge between scientific knowledge and local cultural practices, enhancing students’ appreciation of both science and cultural heritage. This study contributes positively to the integration of ethnoscience in physics education by connecting classroom learning to real-life practices. Future research is expected to further strengthen the link between science and culture and examine the role of technology in modern pottery without compromising its cultural essence.

Abstract

This service focuses on mentoring activities for the preparation of financial reports for micro-enterprise actors in Blitar Regency. The problem faced is that the entrepreneurs (partners) have never made financial reports. Out of twenty participants, only one partner created the report by typing, which is about 5%. Additionally, there are still very few training activities organized by local villages or sub-districts, so many entrepreneurs do not yet have financial report records. The number of partners who registered is 21 micro-enterprises, but only 20 micro-enterprises, located in Wates Sub-district and Ponggok Sub-district in Blitar Regency, were able to participate in the activities. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide education in the form of socialization about the importance of making financial statements for micro entrepreneurs. After the socialization process, assistance will be provided to the entrepreneurs. As a result of the activity, the entrepreneurs will be able to prepare income statements and create balance sheets using Microsoft Excel.
