Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran budaya kerja dalam meningkatkan partisipasi guru dan staf dalam pengembangan organisasi di SMP Negeri 1 Atap Cigugur. Budaya kerja yang positif di organisasi pendidikan memainkan peran krusial dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif anggota dalam berbagai kegiatan yang berhubungan dengan pengembangan sekolah. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif, yang memungkinkan peneliti untuk memahami konteks sosial dan dinamika interaksi di sekolah. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen yang melibatkan guru dan staf yang terlibat dalam pengembangan organisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya kerja di SMP Negeri 1 Atap Cigugur yang mengedepankan komunikasi terbuka, kerjasama, dan saling menghargai sangat berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan partisipasi guru dan staf dalam pengembangan organisasi. Meskipun terdapat beberapa tantangan, seperti keterbatasan waktu akibat beban kerja, tingkat partisipasi secara keseluruhan cukup tinggi, dengan adanya dukungan dari pimpinan yang memberikan ruang untuk berinovasi dan berkolaborasi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa budaya kerja yang mendukung dapat memperkuat komitmen dan motivasi guru serta staf, yang berdampak pada peningkatan kualitas pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi pimpinan sekolah untuk menjaga dan memperkuat budaya kerja ini agar partisipasi guru dan staf dapat lebih optimal dalam pengembangan organisasi di masa depan.   Kata kunci: Budaya kerja, partisipasi, pengembangan organisasi

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the supervision strategies implemented by the principal at SD Negeri Medangharuman in an effort to improve student learning achievement. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study explores various types of supervision carried out, namely academic, administrative, and personal supervision. The results of the study show that academic supervision carried out through classroom observation and constructive feedback improves the quality of teacher teaching and student learning outcomes. Administrative supervision involving the management of work programs and transparent evaluations also contributes to more structured learning management. In addition, personal supervision that pays attention to the welfare of teachers helps create motivation in teaching. However, there are several challenges faced by school principals, such as time constraints, resistance from teachers, and low parental participation. This research suggests the importance of better time management, more open relationships with teachers, and increased parental involvement in supporting student achievement.

Abstract

This Community Service Program aims to provide outreach and training on making aromatherapy candles from used cooking oil to women PKK cadres in Babakan Village, as an effort to reduce used cooking oil waste while increasing environmental awareness. The method used in this service uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, a research approach that prioritizes the active involvement of participants in every stage of the research process, from planning to implementation and evaluation. Based on the identification of problems and potential uses of used cooking oil, education is provided in the form of empowerment about training on the benefits of using used cooking oil and its environmentally friendly management. Demonstrations are carried out to introduce aromatherapy candle making techniques. The results of the training show an increase in the knowledge and skills of women PKK cadres in processing used cooking oil waste into economically valuable products, furthermore, this activity has also succeeded in having a positive impact in reducing environmental pollution and opening new business opportunities for the community that can be used as a model for sustainable waste management in other areas
