Abstract

This study aims to describe how planning, organizing, implementing and supervising in management can improve the quality of inclusive education for children with special needs at SDN Sungai Miai 5, Banjarmasin using a descriptive qualitative research method. The study was conducted at SDN Sungai Miai 5, Banjarmasin City, South Kalimantan. The subjects in this study were the Principal, homeroom teacher, and teacher accompanying children with special needs (GPK). The research instruments consisted of observation sheets, structured interviews and documentation. The data obtained through the analysis of the stages of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions of verification. Validation of the data obtained was carried out by triangulation of reliable sources. The results of the study showed that the service management implemented so as to improve the quality of inclusive education in Sungai Miai 5, Banjarmasin consisted of several stages and had been implemented well and ran optimally

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the difficulties of teachers in implementing thematic learning in SD Negeri Tigarun, Tigarun Village, Juai District, Balangan Regency. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, this research collected data through observation, structured interviews, and documentation. The research subjects were all class teachers at SD Negeri Tigarun. The results showed that the main difficulties of teachers in thematic learning lie in three aspects: lesson planning, lesson implementation, and integrating Basic Competencies (KD) from various subjects. Other inhibiting factors in implementing thematic learning are limited time for teachers to prepare lesson plans, lack of adequate learning media, and difficulties in linking themes with local wisdom.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak profesionalisme Guru Pendamping Khusus (GPK) terhadap sosial-emosional siswa sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus kualitatif pada SDN Pasar Lama 3 pada Kamis 23 Oktober 2025 dengan tiga GPK dan tiga siswa ABK. Data dihimpun melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur, observasi non-partisipatif pada pembelajaran dan transisi kegiatan, serta studi dokumen pendampingan, dianalisis memakai kerangka Miles-Huberman secara iteratif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rofesionalisme GPK terwujud sebagai tata kelola keseharian yang konsisten. Praktik tersebut menurunkan frekuensi eskalasi, mempercepat pemulihan emosi, meningkatkan partisipasi kooperatif, dan menguatkan respons prososial. Mekanisme dampak bergerak berantai dari kesadaran diri menuju regulasi emosi, berlanjut pada interaksi yang lebih sehat dan empati yang lebih matang, lalu bermuara pada pengambilan keputusan yang lebih bertanggung jawab. Studi ini memperjelas jalur yang mengaitkan kompetensi pedagogik, profesional, sosial, dan kepribadian GPK dengan capaian sosial-emosional. Implikasi praktis mencakup standarisasi protokol mikro SEL harian, RDI selaras rumah–sekolah, serta pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi GPK dan guru kelas untuk memastikan implementasi inklusi yang konsisten dan berdampak.
