Abstract

Numeracy skills are essential for students today. However, there are still many students who still need to improve their numeracy abilities. Topics such as social mathematics require high numeracy skills. This research aims to produce a local instructional theory on social arithmetic material using the sociodrama method with the PMRI approach. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Tondano, with research subjects in classes XI MIA 1 (Pilot Experiment Class) and XI MIA 2 (Teaching Experiment Class). The research method used is the design research method, which includes preliminary design, teaching experiment, and retrospective analysis. This research collected data through video recordings, documentation, field notes, and observations. Meanwhile, the data was analyzed using qualitative analysis. The research results show that the resulting LIT is valid, practical, and effective for students studying social arithmetic topics. On the other hand, there is an increase in formal mathematics abilities, as demonstrated by students' conceptual understanding of how to apply their knowledge and experience when solving problems at the situational, referential, and general levels. Therefore, using the sociodrama method with the PMRI approach, the social arithmetic learning design is instrumental in increasing students' understanding and motivation in learning mathematics on social arithmetic material.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the contextual-based extracurricular management implemented at Taruna Papua Timika Elementary School (SATP). The present research employs a qualitative methodology, specifically a case study approach, and utilizes six key informants who have implemented the program. A comprehensive investigation encompassing interviews, observations, documentation, and archival records was conducted to ascertain the management of contextual-based extracurricular programs. The findings of this investigation are: (1) The planning process is comprised of the following elements: directing the grand design of extracurricular programs; identifying the needs, potential, and interests of students (psychological examination); preparing extracurricular guidelines; arranging extracurricular financing; and, providing extracurricular facilities and infrastructure. (2) The organizing process consists of the following elements: registration and determination of extracurricular types and participants; recruitment and determination of extracurricular instructors; creation of extracurricular activity schedules; technical guidance and creation of extracurricular program targets and achievements; and formation of program supervisor teams. (3) The implementation process consists of the following elements: preparation of instructors; implementation of extracurricular sports, arts, and general knowledge; technical management of the program by instructors; and reporting in the form of daily journals. (4) Monitoring and evaluation consists of the following elements: program supervision; utilization of WhatsApp facilities; reporting of activity documentation; accountability for extracurricular equipment; monthly evaluations; end-of-semester evaluations, and the act of documenting the advancement of students in their academic pursuits. It is recommended that education stakeholders implement the aforementioned management process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menelaah minat dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PKn materi pengamalan Pancasila dikelas II SD GMIM 11 Manado. Masalah penelitian ini adalah minat dan hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran PKn masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar PKn siswa kelas II SD GMIM 11 Manado. Media dalam penelitian ini menggunakan media puzzle. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif untuk menggambarkan tentang peningkatan nilai hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar PKn mengalami peningkatan, di mana pada Pra- siklus siswa yang tuntas berjumlah 5 orang siswa dengan persentase 16% dan siswa yang tidak tuntas berjumlah 25 siswa dengan persentase 84%, dengan rata-rata mencapai 44. Pada siklus I hasil belajar siswa meningkat, siswa yang tuntas berjumlah 8 siswa dengan persentase 27% dan siswa yang tidak tuntas berjumlah 22 siswa dengan persentase 73% dengan rata-rata mencapai 50. Pada siklus II hasil belajar siswa meningkat dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 24 siswa dan siswa yang tidak tuntas berjumlah 6 siswa, sehingga persentase ketuntasan siswa pada siklus II mencapai 80%. Minat belajar siswa pada siklus I mendapat skor rata-rata 74,8 dengan kategori ‘baik’; sedangkan pada siklus II mendapat skor 93 dengan kategori ‘sangat baik’. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media puzzle dapat meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

The ability of teachers and the use of learning media in learning at school can improve student learning outcomes. This research measures the influence of teacher abilities and the use of learning media on student learning outcomes (case study of all grade IV students at SD Inpres 01 Paniki Bawah). The problem in this research is what is the influence of teacher ability and use of learning media on the learning outcomes of grade 4 students at SD Inpres 01 Paniki Bawah? The aim of this research is to determine whether there is an influence of teacher ability and use of learning media on the learning outcomes of grade 4 students at SD Inpres 01 Paniki Bawah. This research approach is a quantitative approach. The population and sample in this study were 69 people who were obtained from the number of students in class IV of SD Inpres 01 Paniki Bawah. The data collection technique is carried out by distributing questionnaires. Data analysis uses simple and multiple linear regression analysis. The research results show that there is a significant influence between teacher ability and the use of learning media on student learning outcomes.
