Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of audio-visual media and to improve teacher skills, student activities and student learning outcomes. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) consisting of two cycles. The subjects in this study were sixth grade elementary school students. Data collection techniques using tests and observations. The results of the study showed that: (1) the skills of the teacher in the first cycle scored 54 or 75% with good criteria and in the second cycle the score was 61 or 84.72 with good criteria; (2) students’ activity in the first cycle obtained a score of 258.15 or 64.54% with moderately active criteria and in the second cycle a score of 299.48% or 74.87% with active criteria; (3) students’ learning outcomes in the first cycle of 74.19% and the second cycle of 79.97%. The suggestion in this study is that the application of Audio Visual Media can be used as a teacher reference as a solution to improve the quality of learning during pandemic of the covid-19.

Abstract

The ethics of the nursing profession is the main point that must be pursued by a nurse. The ethics of the nursing profession is important because it is something that nurses encounter all the time when they work in a health environment. From this simple fact, ethics also needs to be strictly understood because of the breadth of ethical theories that exist. Ethics is a science that seeks orientation, in the context of the nursing profession, ethics becomes a critical evaluation of every action of a nurse. Likewise, a nurse must have a professional attitude. In the context of writing this article, deontological ethics will be a model for applying ethics to the nursing profession. Deontological ethics emphasizes moral obligations, which cannot but be the primary choice, which must be carried out for the purpose of that obligation. Action based on obligation is not merely for the purpose of happiness. A morality must be truly autonomous / independent and centered on the human subject. In that framework, every nurse needs to understand that her actions cannot be since the patient needs this kind of treatment, then she carries out or executes it, but beyond that, the nurse must carry out treatment based on the understanding that the actions she takes are her moral obligations towards others (patients).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA materi tentang sifat-sifat cahaya dengan penerapan model quantum teaching di kelas V SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan jenis penelitian model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap siswa kelas V SD dengan subjek dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 25 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis hasil belajar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan menggunakan empat tahapan yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran quantum teaching dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus satu memperoleh nilai rata-rata 83 dengan presentase ketuntasan sebesar 72%. Pada siklus dua hasil belajar siswa memperoleh nilai rata-rata 91 dengan presentase ketuntasan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 95%. Selama proses pembelajaran IPA dengan menggunakan quantum teaching aktivitas belajar siswa lebih antusias, termotivasi, dan dalam memahami materi semakin lebih baik. Adapun rekomendasi yang dapat diberikan adalah iklim belajar dengan menggunakan media atau model pembelajaran yang menarik perlu ditingkatkan di kalangan guru sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis gagasan pokok dalam Konstitusi Sacrosanctum Concilium terutama tentang ekaristi serta relevansinya bagi kehidupan orang beriman. Ajaran ekaristi dalam Konstitusi Sacrosanctum Concilium mempunyai hubungan erat dengan pembangunan hidup orang beriman.  Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif-kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Konstitusi Liturgi bisa menjadi basis bagi penghayatan misteri Ekaristi dan kehidupan umat beriman. Beberapa gagasan Konstitusi Sacrosanctum Concilium bagi kehidupan umat beriman yakni: Ekaristi sebagai puncak dan sumber kehidupan; membentuk persekutuan umat beriman; kesempatan hidup berbagi; ungkapan hidup penuh syukur; sumber keutamaan hidup kristiani. Kesimpulan yang diberikan adalah kepala sekolah hendaknya umat beriman selalu menghayati misteri ekaristi dalam kehidupan setiap hari.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar matematika bagi siswa kelas II SD melalui penerapan model Realistic Mathematics Education (RME). Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus di SD Katolik 02 Don Bosco Paniki Bawah. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi tes hasil belajar dan angket motivasi belajar dengan enam indikator, yaitu ketekunan, keuletan, ketertarikan pada masalah, kerja mandiri, suka tantangan, dan pendirian yang kuat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan baik dalam motivasi maupun hasil belajar siswa. Pada siklus 1, rata-rata hasil belajar siswa adalah 70,16 dengan ketuntasan 51,6%, dan rata-rata motivasi belajar menunjukkan kategori cukup tinggi. Setelah dilakukan tindakan pada siklus 2, rata-rata nilai meningkat menjadi 82,79 dengan ketuntasan mencapai 85%, dan seluruh indikator motivasi belajar berada dalam kategori tinggi. Peningkatan ini menunjukkan bahwa model RME efektif dalam membangun keterlibatan aktif siswa melalui konteks nyata yang relevan dengan kehidupan mereka. Guru disarankan untuk menggunakan pendekatan RME secara berkelanjutan dan mengintegrasikan strategi pembelajaran berbasis tantangan guna meningkatkan keberanian siswa dalam menghadapi soal-soal matematika.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the contextual-based extracurricular management implemented at Taruna Papua Timika Elementary School (SATP). The present research employs a qualitative methodology, specifically a case study approach, and utilizes six key informants who have implemented the program. A comprehensive investigation encompassing interviews, observations, documentation, and archival records was conducted to ascertain the management of contextual-based extracurricular programs. The findings of this investigation are: (1) The planning process is comprised of the following elements: directing the grand design of extracurricular programs; identifying the needs, potential, and interests of students (psychological examination); preparing extracurricular guidelines; arranging extracurricular financing; and, providing extracurricular facilities and infrastructure. (2) The organizing process consists of the following elements: registration and determination of extracurricular types and participants; recruitment and determination of extracurricular instructors; creation of extracurricular activity schedules; technical guidance and creation of extracurricular program targets and achievements; and formation of program supervisor teams. (3) The implementation process consists of the following elements: preparation of instructors; implementation of extracurricular sports, arts, and general knowledge; technical management of the program by instructors; and reporting in the form of daily journals. (4) Monitoring and evaluation consists of the following elements: program supervision; utilization of WhatsApp facilities; reporting of activity documentation; accountability for extracurricular equipment; monthly evaluations; end-of-semester evaluations, and the act of documenting the advancement of students in their academic pursuits. It is recommended that education stakeholders implement the aforementioned management process.
