Abstract

Penguatan ekosistem industri halal di Indonesia sangat penting mengingat mayoritas penduduknya adalah Muslim. Kabupaten Enrekang, sebagai salah satu wilayah dengan penduduk mayoritas muslim, berupaya memenuhi kebutuhan produk halal melalui sertifikasi UMKM. Untuk mempercepat proses ini, Halal Center Universitas Muhammadiyah Enrekang menyelenggarakan pelatihan Pendamping Proses Produk Halal (P3H) pada 23-25 Juni 2024. Program ini bertujuan untuk mencetak tenaga pendamping halal yang kompeten, yang akan membantu UMKM dalam memenuhi persyaratan sertifikasi halal. Pelatihan ini menggunakan metode Service Learning, yang menggabungkan teori dan praktik secara langsung. Peserta yang terdiri dari dosen, mahasiswa, pengurus Muhammadiyah, dan masyarakat umum, mengikuti pelatihan secara hibrida, dengan sesi tatap muka di Aula Kampus I Universitas Muhammadiyah Enrekang dan pembelajaran daring. Materi pelatihan mencakup regulasi jaminan produk halal, verifikasi, dan digitalisasi proses pendampingan. Untuk mengukur efektivitas pelatihan, dilakukan pre-test dan post-test. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta terhadap proses sertifikasi halal, dengan rata-rata nilai pre-test 49,95 yang meningkat menjadi 93,97 pada post-test, mencerminkan peningkatan sebesar 88,13%. Dengan keberhasilan pelatihan ini, dihasilkan pendamping proses produk halal yang tersertifikasi. Tenaga pendamping proses produk halal diharapkan dapat mendukung UMKM di Kabupaten Enrekang dalam mempercepat sertifikasi halal, sehingga memperkuat ekosistem halal lokal. Program ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan industri halal Indonesia secara keseluruhan dan mendukung upaya menjadikan Indonesia sebagai pusat industri halal dunia, sesuai dengan implementasi UU No. 33 Tahun 2014 tentang Jaminan Produk Halal.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance the entrepreneurial competence of students at the University of Muhammadiyah Enrekang (UNIMEN) through a practical learning experience. The program focused on addressing the low interest in entrepreneurship among Indonesian students by providing real-world into business operations. A participatory active method was employed, involving 91 students from three study programs. The program included: 1) students were involved in setting objectives and preparing materials for the visit, 2) an industrial visit to Bachis Pinrang, a successful home-based banana chips produvtion house, where students observed the production process, interviewed the owner, and engaged in discussions, 3) gathering feedback from students to assess the program’s effectiveness. The industrial visit provided students with valuable practical experience and a deeper understanding of business management. It also exposed them to a successful entrepreneurial model, inspiring them to consider entrepreneurship as a career path. Preliminary findings indicate an increase in student’s motivation and practical skills related to entrepreneurship. Further evaluation will be conducted to measure the program’s impact on student’s entrepreneurial knowledge, attitudes, and skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of transformational leadership in the management of artificial intelligence (AI)-based early childhood education in South Sulawesi. This study used a mixed methods approach and involved 15 administrators and 150 instructors from 30 regional schools. Quantitative data were collected through a questionnaire survey and analyzed using linear regression, while qualitative data were obtained through in-depth interviews and document analysis. The study findings revealed that transformational leadership significantly influenced the success of AI-based education management, with a regression coefficient (β) of 0.75 (p < 0.01). Key factors such as strategic vision, effective communication, teacher capacity development, and organizational support play an important role. However, challenges such as limited infrastructure, inadequate technical training, and inadequate education policies remain. This study contributes to educational management science by demonstrating how transformational leadership can be a strategic driver to overcome implementation barriers and improve technology integration in early childhood education. Practical implications include guiding school leaders in leadership development programs, informing policy formulation to support AI-based learning, and enhancing institutional readiness for educational innovation. Academically, this research enriches the discourse on applying leadership theory in the context of technological transformation in education.

Abstract

Premarital guidance is a strategic effort to prepare prospective couples to build a harmonious household. This study was conducted to describe the strategy of premarital guidance as a medium for family education and empowerment at the KUA (Religious Affairs Office) in Bungin District. The purpose of this study was to identify the approaches used in implementing premarital guidance and its effectiveness in improving emotional, spiritual, and social readiness. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a field study type. Informants were selected purposively and consisted of the head of the KUA, religious instructors, and prospective couples. The research instrument was the researcher herself, supported by interview guidelines, observation sheets, and documentation. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document study. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, while data validity was obtained through triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the study indicate that the strategy used is participatory, refers to the principles of andragogy, and integrates local cultural values. This guidance plays an important role in non-formal education that can empower families, although it still requires institutional strengthening and an evaluation system.
