Abstract

Management of facility and infrastructure planning has a strategic role in improving the quality of learning in Special Schools (SLBN) Prof. Dr. Sri Soedewi Masjchun Sofwan, S.H. This study aims to identify and analyze the influence of facility and infrastructure planning on the quality of learning in SLBN Prof. Dr. Sri Soedewi Masjchun Sofwan, S.H. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this study highlights the importance of systematic and needs-based planning to ensure the availability of facilities that are in accordance with the needs of students with special needs. The results of the study indicate that effective management in facility and infrastructure planning contributes to increasing accessibility, comfort, and student learning motivation. In addition, collaboration between stakeholders, including teachers, principals, and the government, is a key factor in ensuring optimal planning implementation. These findings have important implications for SLBN Prof. Dr. Sri Soedewi Masjchun Sofwan, S.H. managers to strengthen their focus on structured planning to achieve better learning quality. ABSTRAKManajemen perencanaan sarana dan prasarana memiliki peran strategis dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri (SLBN) Prof. Dr. Sri Soedewi Masjchun Sofwan, S.H. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis pengaruh perencanaan sarana dan prasarana terhadap kualitas pembelajaran di SLBN. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, kajian ini menyoroti pentingnya perencanaan yang sistematis dan berdasarkan kebutuhan untuk memastikan ketersediaan fasilitas yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen yang efektif dalam perencanaan sarana dan prasarana berkontribusi pada peningkatan aksesibilitas, kenyamanan, dan motivasi belajar siswa. Selain itu, kolaborasi antara pemangku kepentingan, termasuk guru, kepala sekolah, dan pemerintah, menjadi faktor kunci dalam memastikan pelaksanaan perencanaan yang optimal. Temuan ini memberikan dampak penting bagi pengelola SLBN Prof. Dr. Sri Soedewi Masjchun Sofwan, S.H. untuk memperkuat fokus pada perencanaan yang terstruktur guna mencapai kualitas pembelajaran yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Pengembangan literasi digital dalam pendidikan sangat penting untuk mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi tuntutan abad ke-21. Literasi digital mencakup tidak hanya keterampilan teknis, seperti mengoperasikan alat digital, tetapi juga kemampuan berpikir kritis, termasuk mengevaluasi informasi daring dan menerapkan etika dalam berpartisipasi di dunia digital. Seiring teknologi yang terus membentuk lingkungan belajar modern, integrasi literasi digital ke dalam kurikulum menjadi langkah mendasar untuk menciptakan peserta didik yang adaptif, cerdas, dan bertanggung jawab. Artikel ini membahas strategi integrasi literasi digital ke dalam sistem pendidikan, tantangan yang dihadapi pendidik dan lembaga, serta dampaknya terhadap keterlibatan siswa dan prestasi akademik. Penekanan diberikan pada pelatihan guru, akses teknologi yang merata, dan perancangan kurikulum yang mendorong berpikir kritis dan kesadaran media. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa program literasi digital yang efektif dapat meningkatkan kemandirian siswa, memperkuat kolaborasi, dan mendukung kebiasaan belajar sepanjang hayat. Pada akhirnya, integrasi literasi digital dalam pendidikan bukan hanya sebuah peningkatan, tetapi sebuah kebutuhan untuk partisipasi yang bermakna di era digital.

Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of academic supervision by the principal in enhancing teachers’ pedagogical competence at State Junior High School. The quality of education is closely associated with the effectiveness of the learning process, and academic supervision plays a strategic role in strengthening teachers’ professional capacity. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the study explores the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation of academic supervision conducted by the principal. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis involving the principal, the vice principal for curriculum affairs, and teachers. The data were analyzed through systematic processes of data reduction, data display, and thematic conclusion drawing, supported by triangulation and member checking to ensure validity and credibility. The findings indicate that academic supervision was implemented systematically and continuously. In the planning stage, the principal developed a structured supervision program, determined schedules and instruments, and integrated professional development activities such as workshops and training sessions. During the implementation stage, supervision was carried out through classroom observations, clinical and individual supervision, and reflective dialogue sessions that provided constructive feedback. The evaluation stage was conducted periodically to assess teachers’ progress and determine appropriate follow-up actions. The results demonstrate measurable improvements in lesson planning, instructional strategies, classroom management, and assessment practices. Despite challenges such as limited time and teachers’ workload, academic supervision made a significant contribution to enhancing pedagogical competence and strengthening the overall quality of the learning process.
