Abstract

This study aims to determine the reconstruction of Law Number 23 of 2011 concerning Zakat Management and analyze it according to the view of Sharia Economic Law. This research is a normative legal research which is a literature study. Based on the results of the study indicate that Law no. 23 of 2011 on Zakat Management talks more about zakat management institutions, the requirements for establishing LAZ and sanctions for LAZs that do not report their zakat management. This law excludes sanctions for muzakki who do not want to pay their zakat. Even though one of the instruments for increasing income from the increasing potential of zakat is the existence of coercion to muzakki to issue zakat. At least provide legality and legal protection for amil in carrying out the task of collecting zakat from muzakki. Legislation can be said to be good and valid according to law, effective and acceptable to the community and valid for a long time, must be based on the basis of legislation. The basis of the legislation includes 3 foundations, philosophical, sociological and juridical foundations. Law No. 23 of 2011 concerning Zakat Management does not seem to cover a juridical basis because there are no articles that further regulate legality and legal protection for amil in carrying out their duties as zakat collectors for muzakki.

Abstract

The movement to promote sakinah (harmonious) families in Indonesia has been implemented for more than two decades; however, its outcomes remain limited, as reflected in the persistently high rates of divorce and domestic violence. Institutions such as BP4 have not yet played an optimal role, and public participation in harmonious family programs remains relatively low. In addition, formal educational institutions have not fully accommodated family education, leading to the emergence of mosque-based family education initiatives. This study investigates the role of mosques in providing harmonious family education using a prophetic social science approach. This research employed a qualitative field research design. The study was conducted in three mosques in the urban area of Ponorogo: Baitul Mukhlisin Mosque, Nurul Hasan Mosque, and Al Manar Mosque. Research subjects included mosque administrators and congregants, supported by documentary analysis. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, and analyzed both during and after fieldwork. Data validity was ensured through triangulation techniques. The findings indicate that mosques play a significant role in harmonious family education through three main dimensions: (1) a religious role, which strengthens spiritual and moral foundations of family life; (2) a humanization role, which fosters social awareness, mutual respect, and ethical family relations; and (3) an independence role, which empowers families through knowledge and social support networks. These findings demonstrate that mosques function as important social capital in urban communities. Mosque-based harmonious family education offers a strategic approach to addressing rising divorce rates, domestic violence, bullying, and socio-economic challenges such as poverty and unemployment within families.

Abstract

The level of ability to read the Qur'an properly and correctly among students is currently an important issue for educational institutions. This research is urgent to find a structured way to overcome the difficulties of makhraj and tajweed that students often experience. This research aims to examine the application of the At-Tanzil method and assess its success rate in improving students' skills in reading the Qur'an. In addition, this study examines various factors that serve as both supporters and obstacles to the implementation of the At-Tanzil method, to improve the quality of the learning process for reading the Qur'an. This research will be carried out using a qualitative case study design in 2025 at SB At-Tanzil, Lembah Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. The information collection process is carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, and the data are then processed using an interactive model analysis, which includes the stages of data collection, data presentation, data reduction, and data conclusions. Based on the study's results, students' ability to read the Qur'an has increased significantly after participating in learning using the At-Tanzil method. The increase can be seen from the accuracy of the pronunciation of hijaiyah letters, the application of the tajweed law, and the fluency in reading the verses of the Qur'an. The gradual, step-by-step learning, starting from the basics and conveyed clearly and without hurry, is an important factor in the success of the At-Tanzil method. Some obstacles to applying the At-Tanzil method include the requirement that teachers attend training before teaching it. This is to ensure the learning process runs effectively and in a directed manner.
