Abstract

Companies face new challenges in maintaining compliance with business ethics in the digital era which is characterized by technological advancements and globalization. It is essential to implement business laws to ensure that the company's practices not only comply with applicable regulations but also follow high moral standards. The study looks at how business law can help with ethical compliance in the digital environment, including data protection, transparency, and social responsibility. Using case studies from various industries, this study shows that consistent application of business laws and ongoing ethical counseling can create a strong culture of compliance. As a result, the company can not only reduce legal risks but also build a good reputation in the eyes of the public and consumers.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the perceptions of parents of fifth-graders at SDN 1 Aikmel Barat regarding the implementation of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses descriptive qualitative research with the research subject of teachers and parents of class V SDN 1 Aikmel Barat. Data collection techniques are questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis uses the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, namely through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that in general the perception of parents was included in the unfavorable category with an overall percentage of 43.42%. In particular, parents' perceptions of online learning are the results of the analysis of response indicators, the percentage is 56.3%. This shows that parents' perceptions are quite good about online classroom media and online learning facilities. The percentage of opinion obtained is 42.06%, this shows that parents' perceptions are not good about online learning materials and parental assistance during online learning. The assessment indicator obtained a score of 31.9%, this shows that parents' perceptions are not good about the implementation of online learning methods.

Abstract

In learning, teachers often only deliver material conventionally in class, namely using the lecture method, causing students to be inactive when learning takes place. Using the right method or model is very important to increase student activity. Therefore, this research aims to foster aspects of student activity in learning science and science class IV semester II TP 2024/2025 at SDN 5 Anjani. Improving the quality of learning applies a problem-based learning model with the lesson study model and its implementation is carried out in 3 activities, namely: 1) Plan (planning), Do (implementation and observation), and See (reflection). This research was conducted in two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. The research sample was class IV students at SDN 5 Anjani, semester II of the 2024/2025 academic year, with a total of 22 students. The results of this research show an increase in students' activeness in science learning from cycle I to cycle II, namely indicators of activeness in collaborating, activeness in asking questions, activeness in answering, and activeness in discussion. Increased student activity due to the implementation of the Lesson Study-based Problem Based Learning model.

Abstract

Bumi Keselamatan Margarita Orphanage is one of the orphanages located in . Like other orphanages, the orphanage, abbreviated as BKM, has a significant social impact in Simalungun Regency. One of its impacts is providing a meaningful life for children, nurturing their spirituality, and offering the best education for the residents of the orphanage. The aim of this research is to enrich the historiography of the role of orphanages and churches in empowering the surrounding communities, so that the historical narrative about orphanages becomes more complete and enhances the image of orphanages as institutions that also liberate people. The method used is the historical method, which consists of heuristics, criticism or verification, interpretation, and finally historiography. The results show that Bumi Keselamatan Margarita Orphanage has had a considerable impact around the Simalungun Regency, which are its main areas. They have done many things, such as providing shelter for children from early childhood to teenagers, empowering children by offering education and preparing them for industrial skills, and providing scholarships to those in need. As a result, this orphanage still remains a reliable place for abandoned children to receive proper care when their parents are no longer around, helping them strengthen one another and grow their spiritually, so they can become kind and character-driven individuals in the future, even though the figure of their mother and father is no longer present to their lives.
