Abstract

Bullying is one type of coercive behavior shown by overbearing behavior and repeated use of harassment or pressure to influence others. The specific objectives of this study were to to determine the frequency distribution of the correlation between the characteristics of children with bullying behavior (age, gender, play group, bullying behavior) and to know the correlation between the characteristics of age, gender, play group in children at SMP N 10 Bengkulu City in 2024. This study used a descriptive design with a cross sectional approach because researchers wanted to describe the rate of bullying behavior in the junior high school age community and determine the correlation between bullying behavior and the characteristics found in junior high school age children at SMP N 10 of Bengkulu City in 2024. The results of this study are the correlation between children's age and bullying behavior at SMP N 10 of Bengkulu City, the correlation between gender and bullying behavior at SMP N 10 of Bengkulu City, and the correlation between play groups or peers (gangs) with bullying behavior at SMP N 10 of Bengkulu City. Age with bullying behavior gets a value of p=0.200 which indicates no correlation, gender with bullying behavior gets a value of p=0.821 which indicates no correlation, play groups or peers (gangs) gets a value of p=0.029 which indicates a correlation. Schools and educational institutions including the government can see that the bullying problem that afflicts junior high school students is a real thing. This material on bullying in school children can be used as modality therapy to form a positive self-concept in school children therefore it can reduce the occurrence of bullying and can build school programs such as anti-bullying movements.

Abstract

Aggressiveness in adolescents can be influenced by internal factors and external factors. Internal factors, namely factors within the individual related to the mental process of adolescents, for example, do not have good emotional maturity. Emotions such as anger, frustration, and envy arise when the external stimulus received does not match the perception of the individual. This study aims to determine the correlation between emotional maturity and friend conformity with adolescent aggressive behavior at SMA Negeri 04 of Bengkulu City in 2024. The research method used is descriptive quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. Sampling technique using simple random sampling technique with the number of samples in this study 90 people representing all students at SMA N 04 Bengkulu City. The results of the univariate test analysis almost half of the respondents (25.6%) with poor emotional maturity, most of the respondents (68.9%) with high friend conformity, a small proportion of respondents (22.2%) often do aggressive behavior. The results of bivariate analysis obtained the results of emotional maturity (0.000) and friend conformity (0.021) with aggressive behavior. There is a correlation between emotional maturity and aggressive behavior of adolescents in SMA Negeri 04 of Bengkulu City. The researcher suggested that for SMA Negeri 04 of Bengkulu City the results of this study can be the basis for implementing guidance, coaching, and counseling activity programs on aggressive behavior.

Abstract

The skin is an organ that separates the body from the external environment, the skin is continuously exposed to environmental factors. According to (WHO) the level of infectious skin diseases worldwide was reported to be around 300 million cases in 2020. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and personal hygiene with the behavior of preventing contact dermatitis in fishermen in the working area of the Beringin Raya Health Center, Bengkulu City in 2025. The method used was descriptive quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used total sampling with the number of samples in this study 48 respondents in fishermen in the working area of the Beringin Raya Community Health Center, Bengkulu City in 2025, The results showed that almost most of the respondents had insufficient knowledge, almost all respondents had poor personal hygiene, most of the respondents had poor dermatitis prevention behavior. And there is a significant relationship between knowledge and contact dermatitis prevention behavior in fishermen in the working area of the Beringin Raya Community Health Center, Bengkulu City in 2024 where the p value is (0.010), There is a significant relationship between personal hygiene and contact dermatitis prevention behavior in fishermen in the working area of the Beringin Raya Community Health Center, Bengkulu City in 2025 where the p value is (0.00). This study is expected to provide a source of information to community health centers to consider more about preventing contact dermatitis in fishermen.
