Abstract

Learning motivation plays a significant role for students. This motivation increases students’ interest in completing learning activities. When students are motivated by their environment and themselves, their learning outcomes also improve. The methods used in community service activities (PKM) are influenced by various factors, such as monotonous teaching methods, lack of teacher support, and the influence of technology. PKM uses interactive lecture methods that utilize media, discussions, and Q&A sessions to increase students’ learning motivation. This highlights the importance of motivation to support oneself in achieving goals and becoming a better individual. This community service aims to increase the learning motivation of students at SMKN 6 Serang cities, as motivation is one of the factors that influence students’ success. When someone is motivated to learn, they will achieve the desired learning outcomes. Motivation acts as a driving force to achieve good results. People engage in activities because they have motives. High learning motivation will yield optimal results. This activity aims to prepare students as participants who, based on their respective skills, can face challenges in starting their careers.

Abstract

Program ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi keuangan dan keterampilan hidup siswa MA Al Ulya Al Mubarok. Survei awal menunjukkan banyak siswa belum memahami cara mengatur keuangan pribadi dan kurang percaya diri saat berbicara. Pelatihan mencakup materi tentang pengelolaan uang saku, komunikasi efektif, dan kerja tim. Metode pembelajaran dilakukan secara interaktif melalui diskusi dan simulasi. Siswa menunjukkan peningkatan dalam menyusun anggaran dan menabung secara terencana. Mereka juga menjadi lebih percaya diri dalam berkomunikasi dan berkolaborasi. Evaluasi menunjukkan hasil yang positif baik dari sisi pemahaman materi maupun partisipasi aktif siswa. Guru menyambut baik kegiatan ini dan mendukung keberlanjutannya. Program ini juga menjadi pengalaman berharga bagi mahasiswa pelaksana. Model ini dapat diterapkan di sekolah lain dengan penyesuaian kebutuhan.

Abstract

Generasi muda Indonesia menghadapi tantangan serius dalam literasi finansial. Data OJK 2022 menunjukkan tingkat inklusi keuangan 85,10%, namun literasinya baru 49,68%. Kondisi ini krusial bagi siswa SMK yang akan segera bekerja dan mengelola penghasilan sendiri. Gaya hidup konsumtif di media sosial serta kemudahan akses produk fintech seperti Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) dan pinjaman online ilegal meningkatkan risiko finansial mereka. Kurikulum SMK yang masih berfokus pada kompetensi teknis belum memberi ruang cukup untuk edukasi keuangan pribadi, sehingga banyak lulusan belum siap menghadapi tantangan finansial nyata. Untuk menjawab masalah tersebut, program “Pelatihan Perencanaan Keuangan Pribadi bagi Siswa SMK Negeri 1 Kota Serang” dirancang sebagai pelatihan partisipatif yang menekankan perubahan pola pikir dan pembentukan keterampilan praktis. Kegiatan meliputi workshop interaktif mengenai dana darurat, penyusunan anggaran, manajemen utang, serta pengenalan investasi, dilengkapi simulasi studi kasus “mengelola gaji pertama” dan pendampingan pasca-pelatihan. Keberhasilan program diukur secara kuantitatif melalui peningkatan skor pengetahuan (pre-test dan post-test) dan secara kualitatif melalui perubahan sikap finansial siswa menjadi lebih positif dan proaktif. Luaran tambahan meliputi modul pelatihan berkelanjutan, publikasi ilmiah, serta konten video edukatif untuk memperluas dampak peningkatan literasi finansial generasi muda Indonesia. Abstract

Financial literacy is an essential aspect in supporting community financial management, particularly in rural and indigenous communities such as Kanekes Village (Baduy). Although the community has begun to access financial services and digital technology, their ability to manage finances remains limited. Therefore, this community service activity aims to identify the level of financial literacy and to encourage public awareness of better financial management. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach through in-depth interviews and field observations. The results show that the community, especially in Baduy Luar, has utilized social media such as TikTok Live and Instagram for product marketing and has adopted digital payment systems such as QRIS through Bank BRI, although cash transactions still dominate. The main sources of income come from micro-enterprises based on local potential, including handicrafts, traditional clothing, accessories, and food products. However, the community generally lacks financial recording practices and structured financial planning, causing income to be directly spent on daily needs. The activity also indicates the emergence of initial awareness regarding financial management and highlights the role of youth as local leaders in adopting digital technology. Therefore, strengthening financial literacy is crucial to improving financial behavior and supporting sustainable economic transformation within the community.

Abstract

The transformation of payment systems from cash to digital through the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) is part of financial transaction modernization in Indonesia. This transformation has begun among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Baduy community, particularly in Baduy Luar, which has higher interaction with external communities. However, the adoption of digital payment systems has not been fully supported by adequate financial management capabilities. This community service activity aims to identify the transformation process of payment systems and describe the financial literacy conditions of Baduy MSMEs. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach through in-depth interviews and field observations. The results show that some MSMEs have adopted QRIS through Bank BRI as an alternative payment method alongside cash and have utilized social media such as TikTok Live and Instagram for product marketing. The main sources of income include handicrafts, traditional clothing, accessories, and food products. However, financial management practices remain simple and lack systematic recording. This indicates improved financial inclusion but not yet accompanied by adequate financial behavior. Therefore, strengthening financial literacy is essential to support sustainable financial modernization in the Baduy community.
