Abstract

In today's digital era, social media, especially Instagram, has become the main platform for spreading information and messages, including da'wah. Students as the young generation who actively use social media have great potential to receive and spread da'wah messages. This study examines the extent to which da'wah delivered through Instagram can influence students' understanding of diversity, both in terms of ethnicity, culture, religion, and other perspectives. The method used is a survey by distributing questionnaires to students from various universities. The results of the study indicate that da'wah on Instagram has a positive influence in increasing students' awareness and understanding of the importance of diversity, as well as encouraging an attitude of tolerance and mutual respect. However, the effectiveness of this da'wah is influenced by the quality of the content, consistency of delivery, and audience involvement. This study concludes that Instagram da'wah can be an effective tool for promoting diversity values ​​among students, with the note that there is an appropriate strategy in delivering da'wah messages

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of healing activities on the mental condition of Generation Z in Serang City. Generation Z is known as a group highly vulnerable to mental pressure due to academic demands, social interactions, and digital media exposure. The research method used is quantitative with an associative approach. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed to determine the relationship between the intensity of healing activities and respondents' mental stability. The findings reveal that healing activities have a positive and significant effect on Generation Z's mental condition. Routine healing practices, such as nature tourism, quality time, self-care, and engaging with entertaining social media content, have been shown to relieve stress and enhance emotional balance. This research is expected to serve as a basis for developing mental well-being programs for youth and young adults in Serang City.

Abstract

Depression in adolescents is a serious problem that affects psychological, social, and spiritual aspects. Adolescence is marked by significant changes that are prone to causing stress, so a comprehensive healing approach is needed. This study aims to analyze the effect of individual counseling based on Islamic psychotherapy in treating depression in adolescents. Islamic psychotherapy is used as a method that not only touches the psychological aspect but also strengthens the spiritual dimension of adolescents through the values ​​of monotheism, patience, gratitude, and dhikr. Individual counseling is an effective medium for building an empathetic and accepting therapeutic relationship. The results of the analysis show that this therapy is able to reduce symptoms of depression, increase peace of mind, and improve adolescent social relations. Islamic psychotherapy is not only curative, but also preventive, providing strong mental strength through a deep spiritual approach. Thus, the integration of psychological counseling and Islamic values ​​is a relevant and effective approach in efforts to restore the mental health of Muslim adolescents in the modern era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dukungan keluarga terhadap kesehatan mental mahasiswa rantau pada Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling Islam (BKI) UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif-korelasional dengan instrumen kuesioner yang diisi oleh 30 responden. Dukungan keluarga diukur melalui tiga aspek, yaitu dukungan emosional, informatif, dan instrumental. Sementara itu, kesehatan mental dianalisis berdasarkan indikator ketenangan, stres, kecemasan, kemampuan adaptasi, dan kepuasan psikologis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dukungan emosional merupakan bentuk dukungan yang paling dominan diberikan oleh keluarga dan memiliki pengaruh besar terhadap kestabilan emosi mahasiswa. Meskipun sebagian mahasiswa mengalami tekanan psikologis seperti kecemasan dan kesepian, kehadiran dukungan keluarga secara konsisten, terutama melalui komunikasi, membantu mereka tetap bertahan secara mental di perantauan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Cyberbullying through social media on anxiety levels in adolescents. The background of this study is based on the increasing use of social media among adolescents followed by the risk of online bullying (Cyberbullying), which can affect mental health, especially anxiety. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational survey method. The subjects of the study were adolescents aged 13–18 years who actively use social media. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a total of 20 respondents. The instruments used were Cyberbullying scale questionnaires and anxiety scales. The results showed that there was a significant influence between Cyberbullying and adolescent anxiety levels. The higher the level of exposure to Cyberbullying, the higher the level of anxiety felt by adolescents. These results indicate that Cyberbullying is a factor that needs serious attention in efforts to prevent mental health disorders among adolescents.

Abstract

Aggressive behavior in adolescents is a form of psychosocial problem that can hinder personality development, social interaction, and academic achievement. This study aims to determine the effect of individual counseling using behavioral techniques on aggressive behavior in adolescents in the social environment. This study used a quantitative approach with a one group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of 15 adolescents who were identified as having moderate to high aggressive behavior. Data were collected through an aggressive behavior questionnaire and analyzed using a paired sample t-test statistical test. Individual counseling services were provided for six sessions, using behavioral techniques such as positive reinforcement, modeling, and self-monitoring. The results of the data analysis showed that there was a significant decrease in aggressive behavior scores between the pretest and posttest. The average pretest score of 73.3 decreased to 55.4 in the posttest, with a significance value of 0.003 (p <0.05). These findings indicate that individual counseling based on behavioral techniques is effective in helping adolescents manage and change their aggressive behavior in a more positive direction. This study provides practical implications for BK teachers, parents, and educational institutions in dealing with adolescent deviant behavior through structured interventions. The behavioral approach has proven to be applicable, efficient, and relevant for use in counseling settings in schools and communities.

Abstract

Self-confidence is a positive attitude that plays an essential role in supporting achievement and personal development. One of the factors believed to contribute to the level of self-confidence is the habit of dressing well. This study aims to analyze the influence of dressing well on the self-confidence of university students. A quantitative approach was employed with an associative research design to examine the relationship between two variables: dressing well (X) and self-confidence (Y). Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using statistical methods. The results indicate a significant influence of dressing well on students’ selfconfidence. These findings suggest that dressing neatly and appropriately not only enhances physical appearance but also supports the development of character and self-confidence in academic settings. This research is expected to serve as a basis for developing strategies to improve student self-development through appearance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of self-management on the learning discipline of students in the Islamic Guidance and Counseling Study Program at the Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin State Islamic University, Banten. Self-management in this context includes students' ability to manage time, maintain motivation, control themselves, and plan academic activities in a focused manner. Learning discipline is measured by consistency of attendance, accuracy in completing assignments, and compliance with academic rules. This study uses a quantitative correlational approach with a sample size of 30 students selectea through purposive sampling techniques. The instrument used was a Likert scale questionnaire to measure self-management and learning discipline. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between self-management ano learning discipline. Students with a high level of self-management tend to have better learning discipline. Self-management has been shown to provide a positive contribution to increasing disciplined behavior in academic activities. These findings indicate that strengthening self-management skills is one of the main keys in shaping the character of students who are responsible, organized, ano ready to face academic and professional challenges. Therefore, it is important for educational institutions to provide early self-management skills training.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-esteem dan kesejahteraan psikologis pada remaja di Kampung Kaduagung Tengah, Kecamatan Cibadak. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh rendahnya self-esteem yang dialami oleh remaja, yang berpotensi mengurangi kesejahteraan psikologis mereka. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional, melibatkan 150 remaja berusia 15–18 tahun sebagai subjek. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang mengukur self-esteem menggunakan Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory dan kesejahteraan psikologis menggunakan Ryff Psychological Well-Being Scale. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara self-esteem dan kesejahteraan psikologis, di mana remaja dengan self-esteem tinggi cenderung memiliki kesejahteraan psikologis yang lebih baik. Pembahasan menyoroti pentingnya lingkungan sosial yang mendukung dalam membangun self-esteem, serta perlunya perhatian dari orang tua dan pendidik untuk meningkatkan kualitas kesehatan mental remaja. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa penguatan self-esteem dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan kesejahteraan psikologis remaja, yang pada gilirannya dapat membantu mereka menghadapi tantangan kehidupan dengan lebih baik.

Abstract

Perkuliahan daring telah menjadi bagian integral dari sistem pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia.  Namun, transisi ini membawa tantangan baru bagi mahasiswa, termasuk peningkatan stres akademik yang dapat berdampak pada kesehatan mental.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara stres akademik dan kesehatan mental pada mahasiswa yang mengikuti perkuliahan daring.  Menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada mahasiswa dari berbagai program studi.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya korelasi negatif antara tingkat stres akademik dan kesehatan mental mahasiswa.  Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya strategi manajemen stres dan dukungan institusional dalam mendukung kesejahteraan mental mahasiswa dalam lingkungan pembelajaran daring.
