Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using flashcards as a memorization aid for Hadith in the Al-Qur'an Hadith subject at MA Al Chodidjah Tebuireng, Cukir, Jombang. The research method employed is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The research subjects include teachers and 10th-grade students who participated in the learning process using flashcards over one semester. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and then analyzed using a thematic approach. The research findings indicate that the use of flashcards significantly enhances students' ability to memorize Hadith. Students reported feeling more motivated and engaged in the memorization process with the help of flashcards, which made it easier for them to remember the Hadith material. Additionally, the use of flashcards improved interaction between teachers and students and provided opportunities for students to learn independently. The study also identified some challenges in the implementation of flashcards, such as limited time for creation and routine use. Therefore, further development efforts are needed, such as the provision of a flashcard bank and teacher training to enhance the effectiveness of learning. This study concludes that flashcards are an effective tool in the Hadith memorization process and have a positive impact on students' learning motivation. Recommendations from this study include the broader integration of flashcards into the curriculum and the provision of adequate support for teachers in their use.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of tahsin Al-Qur'an through the Al-Qur'an lovers movement as well as its inhibiting and supporting factors. The research used used qualitative research with a case study approach. The research subjects amounted to 15 children. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis using triangulation. The conclusion of the study was that the improvement of tahsin al-Quran through the movement of Al-Qur'an lovers at the Al-Qur'an Education Park in Carang Wulung Village, Wonosalam District, Jombang Regency went well during the activity.. Then the use of learning methods applied by the Al-Qur’an lovers movement in improving children's tahsin Al-Qur’an is the method of lecture, question and answer, demonstration and discussion. The inhibiting factors of this activity are that there are children who are not present in teaching and learning activities and there are some children who tend to play and joke with their friends during tahsin activities. The supporting factors for this activity are the use of learning methods used in delivering quality, good and supportive tahsin material, children are enthusiastic in tahsin activities through the movement of Al-Qur’an lovers because during the activity they always play an active role in learning to read the Qur'an and the ability to manage tahsin activities well by the teacher in conditioning this activity. Recommendations for further research can examine or study related to tahsin Al-Qur'an at different age levels, different teaching methods and others.

Abstract

Education is a process to develop students' potential, where obedience is important in character building. In SMK Negeri 3 Jombang, violations often occur, such as lateness and absence. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers play a role in fostering student obedience through religious values ​​and counseling. Collaboration between the two is essential for effective coaching. This study has three objectives: 1) To compile and analyze the collaboration between PAI teachers and BK teachers. 2) To analyze the level of obedience of class X students. 3) To analyze the elements that support and hinder the synergy of PAI and BK teachers in maintaining student obedience.This study uses a qualitative and descriptive approach, with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation from the principal, teachers, and students. The findings show that the synergy between PAI and BK teachers is important in shaping obedience, despite the challenges faced by class X students.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kewirausahaan mahasantri Ma’had Jamiah Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari (UNHASY) Tebuireng Jombang melalui pelatihan pembuatan Risol Makyo dan Risol Mentai. Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah pentingnya kemandirian ekonomi santri di era modern yang menuntut penguasaan keterampilan praktis berbasis kebutuhan pasar, khususnya di sektor kuliner. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup tiga tahap utama, yaitu persiapan (survei, penentuan lokasi, penyusunan materi, dan penyediaan bahan serta peralatan), pelaksanaan (penyuluhan, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung), serta evaluasi (penilaian kualitas produk dan efektivitas penyelenggaraan). Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama 4 minggu dengan materi pelatihan yang terstruktur, meliputi aspek teknis pengolahan hingga strategi pemasaran digital. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan peserta pada aspek rasa, tekstur, dan tampilan produk, dengan seluruh kelompok memperoleh kategori “Baik” hingga “Sangat Baik”. Analisis SWOT mengidentifikasi kekuatan utama berupa antusiasme peserta, dukungan institusi, dan relevansi produk dengan tren pasar, sementara kelemahan meliputi keterbatasan waktu pelatihan dan modal awal. Pelatihan ini tidak hanya menghasilkan keterampilan teknis, tetapi juga membentuk pola pikir wirausaha yang kreatif dan adaptif. Program ini diharapkan menjadi model pemberdayaan ekonomi berbasis pesantren yang berkelanjutan dan dapat direplikasi di daerah lain.

Abstract

This study aims to describe student management based on interests and talents and its role in improving academic and non-academic achievement at MTsN 1 Jombang. The background of the study stems from the need for student governance that is not only oriented towards academic achievement, but also the development of talents and interests. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. Informants include the principal, vice principal for curriculum and student affairs, subject teachers, extracurricular supervisors, and students. Furthermore, the data were analyzed inductively using interactive analysis techniques from Milles and Huberman which include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that student management at MTsN 1 Jombang includes structured planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating stages. Strategies for improving achievement include fostering superior classes, academic competition training, and developing extracurricular activities based on interests and talents. The conclusion of this study shows that good student management contributes significantly to improving overall achievement. Recommendations are directed to the madrasah to strengthen the coaching system and expand support facilities in developing student potential.

Abstract

Achieving Universal Health Coverage (UHC) necessitates not only increased financial investments in health services but also the establishment of strong governance and accountability mechanisms that ensure equity, transparency, and system-wide efficiency. This article offers a comparative analysis of health system governance reforms in three middle-income Southeast Asian countries Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam each of which has undertaken distinct strategies to accelerate UHC implementation. Using a qualitative policy analysis approach, the study examines institutional reforms, decentralization processes, regulatory innovations, and performance-based accountability tools that have shaped national health agendas. The findings indicate that while all three countries have expanded access to healthcare, the outcomes of governance reforms vary significantly based on factors such as political leadership, subnational administrative capacity, and policy coherence. Indonesia’s efforts in strategic purchasing, the Philippines’ enactment of the Universal Health Care Act, and Vietnam’s emphasis on digital governance and financial transparency each offer context-specific insights into effective reform. Nonetheless, ongoing challenges such as local-level disparities, fragmented data systems, and limited stakeholder influence persist. The article concludes that governance should be viewed not as a peripheral concern but as a central pillar of UHC. Its findings are intended to inform both regional and global policy dialogues on building resilient and accountable health systems.

Abstract

Despite the proliferation of international human rights instruments, the enforcement of these rights remains a persistent challenge in global governance. This article explores the structural, legal, and political obstacles that hinder the effective protection of human rights under international law. Drawing on a qualitative library research approach, the study examines the limitations of international courts and treaty bodies, the lack of binding enforcement mechanisms, issues of state sovereignty, and political selectivity in applying international standards. The findings suggest that although significant normative frameworks exist such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Covenants, and regional human rights conventions their implementation is uneven and often undermined by geopolitical interests and weak institutional authority. This article contributes to ongoing debates by emphasizing the need for stronger compliance mechanisms, improved state accountability, and enhanced cooperation between international institutions and domestic legal systems. Ultimately, addressing enforcement gaps is essential for the realization of human rights as universal and justiciable standards.

Abstract

In the era of Education 5.0, higher education institutions are increasingly required to ensure quality assurance mechanisms that promote academic excellence and global competitiveness. Libraries, as knowledge management hubs, play a strategic role in supporting institutional quality by providing access to information, facilitating digital literacy, and enhancing research productivity. This study aims to examine how strategic library management and digital literacy initiatives contribute to strengthening quality assurance frameworks in higher education. Using a library research method, this paper synthesises findings from 52 international journal articles, books, and reports published between 2018 and 2024. The results indicate that universities implementing innovative library management strategies such as the integration of digital repositories, open-access scholarly databases, and user-centred services significantly improve teaching quality, research visibility, and accreditation performance. Furthermore, initiatives to develop students’ and faculty members’ digital literacy competencies contribute to enhanced learning outcomes and institutional ranking. The findings highlight the necessity of integrating strategic library policies with quality assurance systems to meet international accreditation standards and ensure sustainable institutional development.

Abstract

In the era of globalization and technological progress,the challenges faced by santri are not only limited to understanding religion, but also involve skills and knowledge in other fields that can make them better prepared to face the dynamics of modern society. This research aims to reveal how the planning, implementation and evaluation of the Mujadi Islamic Boarding School curriculum at the Tarbiyatunnasyiin Pacul Gowang Jombang Islamic Boarding School plays a role in improving the competency of students. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data was obtained through interviews, observation and documentation studies. The main instrument is the researcher himself, with the help of interview and observation guidelines. The research was conducted at the Tarbiyatunnasyiin Pacul Gowang Islamic Boarding School and will last for a maximum of 3 months. Data analysis was carried out interactively using the Milles Matthew B, A. Michael Huberman, and Johnny Saldana methods. The validity of the data is checked through triangulation, detailed description, audit tracing, and confirmation audit tracing. The results of this research show that the Tarbiyatunnasyiin Islamic Boarding School has an established and consistent curriculum with a lawful approach, using the yellow book as the main guide. The planning process involves decision making by stakeholders to achieve learning objectives. The curriculum aims to develop the knowledge, character and skills of students through learning programs and extracurricular activities. Learning evaluation is carried out periodically through mid- and end-of-semester evaluations, homeroom teacher evaluations, and institutional evaluations every three months. The participation of teachers and homeroom teachers in evaluations reflects a commitment to improving the quality of education. This Islamic boarding school is committed to increasing the intelligence of students in cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects through holistic learning.Keywords: Curriculum Management, Mujadi, Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

The independent curriculum is a flexible curriculum based on character and competency as well as creativity-based which is a set by the government strating in 2022/2023 at the primary and secondary eduation levels. In implementing the independent curriculum and P5 activities, there needs to be correct curriculum management. Based on the problems above, this research has 4 objectives. The research objectives are 1). To describe the independent curriculum management planning in the project to strengthen the profile of pancasila students SMP Negeri 3 Jombang. 2). To describe the implementation of independent curriculum management planning in the project to strengthen the profile of pancasila students SMP Negeri 3 Jombang. 3). To describe the evaluation of independent curriculum management in the project to strengthen the profile of pancasila students at SMP Negeri 3 Jombang. 4). To describe the supporting and inhibiting factors for independent curriculum management in the project to strengthen the profile of pancasila students at SMP Negeri 3 Jombang. The type of research is ase study research. The research was carried out using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out using interview, observation and documentation methods. Informants in this research consisted of the school principal, head of curriculum, team coordinator and team facilitator. Based on the research results, it was found that: P5 planning at SMP Negeri 3 Jombang started by forming a team of facilitators and coordinators, then determining a theme according to the theme of phase D, there was a special theme for SMP Negeri 3 Jombang, namely local wisdom and sustainable lifestyle. The implementation of P5 uses 3 themes, namely diversity, local wisdom and sustainable lifestyle. Furthermore, evaluation at SMP Negeri 3 Jombang is carried out once a month and uses two types of evaluation, namely process evaluation and results evaluation.
