Abstract

This article discusses social values ​​in the Qur'an and their implications for character education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. In the context of Islamic education, the Qur'an provides various values ​​that serve as a foundation in the formation of students' character. Through an analysis of the Al-Hujurat surah, especially verses 11-13, this study found that values ​​such as monotheism, morals, social responsibility, compassion, brotherhood, justice, and mutual respect are highly emphasized. These values ​​play an important role in shaping the character of students in madrasahs, which not only focus on academic aspects but also on moral and social development. This study identifies values ​​such as monotheism, morals, social responsibility, compassion, and tolerance as key elements in character education that can help students face moral challenges in modern society. Through a qualitative descriptive approach and literature review, this article analyzes how these values ​​can be internalized in the education curriculum in madrasahs. The results show that the application of Qur'anic values ​​not only improves students' intellectual intelligence but also strengthens their moral and social dimensions. Thus, character education based on the Qur'an has the potential to create a generation that is not only knowledgeable but also has noble morals and a commitment to goodness.

Abstract

The transformation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in the digital era has become a necessity in facing technological developments and changes in the characteristics of students, especially Generation Z. This study aims to analyze the challenges and opportunities in the implementation of digital-based PAI, as well as to formulate strategies that can increase the effectiveness of religious learning in the modern era. The research method used is a literature review with a qualitative approach, which examines various academic sources, journals, books, and reports related to the development of digitalization in religious education. The results of the study show that the digitalization of PAI faces challenges such as minimal digital literacy among educators, limited access to technology for some students, and the potential for misuse of technology. However, there are also various opportunities, such as increasing accessibility of learning resources, the use of attractive interactive media, and the ease of personalizing learning according to the needs of students. The novelty of this study lies in the strategic analysis that highlights the importance of increasing digital competence for educators, developing adaptive technology-based curriculum, and optimizing digital platforms as a more inclusive and effective medium for Islamic preaching and education for Generation Z. Thus, the transformation of PAI in the digital era can be a more relevant means of forming character and contextual understanding of religion for the younger generation.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan dan perkembangan pendidikan Islam mengalami kemerosotan. Permasalahan tersebut harus segera disikapi dengan mengembangkan ilmu pendidikan Islam, salah satu caranya melalui kajian terhadap tokoh-tokoh intelektual Islam. Artikel ini akan menggali dan mendiskusikan salah satu pemikiran tokoh intelektual Islam, yakni M. 'Athiyah Al-Abrasyi agar relevan dengan pendidikan Islam kontemporer. Artikel ditulis menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif-naratif, teknik pengumpulan data berupa membaca teks terkait dengan data-data yang dibutuhkan. Data-data yang terkumpul diklasifikasi dalam sub pembahasan dan dianalisis dengan teknik analisis isi, kemudian disusun secara deskriptif-naratif menjadi artikel yang sistematis. Menurut 'Athiyah pendidikan Islam mengajarkan manusia untuk hidup sempurna dan bahagia, cinta tanah air, kuat jasmani, berakhlak mulia, tertib pikiran, halus perasaan, terampil dalam bekerja, dan manis dalam berkata-kata, baik tertulis maupun lisan. Tujuan utama pendidikan Islam adalah pengembangan akhlak, sejalan dengan UU No. 20 Tahun 2003. Dasar-dasar pendidikan: 1) strategi pengajaran dimodifikasi sesuai kebutuhan dan keadaan peserta didik, sejalan dengan prinsip pengembangan. 2) contoh dapat diakses panca indera, sesuai dengan prinsip demonstrasi. 3) hiburan dan permainan, sejalan dengan PAIKEM. Konsep metode pendidikan akhlak: a) metode langsung melalui bimbingan yang baik, relevan dengan metode ceramah. b) metode tidak langsung melalui sajak kebaikan, relevan dengan anak zaman sekarang yang sering menggunakan kata-kata dalam belajar. Pengembangan konsep pendidikan kejuruan, selaras dengan UU No. 20 Tahun 2003 Pasal 15. Guru harus memahami kepribadian peserta didik, pemaaf, dan ahli dalam materi pelajaran, sesuai dengan UU No. 14 Pasal 10 Tahun 2005.
