Abstract

Tasawuf merupakan salah satu cabang ilmu keislaman yang mengajarkan latihan spritual untuk dekat kepada Allah. Namun pada perkembangannya tasawuf tidak bisa lepas dari respon baik atau buruk, serta kritik dari berbagai kalangan tokoh. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan respon dan kritik terhadap tasawuf khususnya pemikiran Ibnu Taimiyah, kaum Wahabi dan Muhammad Abduh. Metode yang digunakan bersifat kualitatif dengan mengandalkan berbagai literatur kepustakaan yang relavan dengan tema pembahasan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode historis dan deksriptif-analisis. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kritikan dari Ibnu Taimiyah, kaum Wahabi dan Muhammad Abduh memiliki titik persamaan yaitu mereka sama-sama mengkritik agama populer (pop religion) bukan tasawuf itu sendiri. agama populer adalah praktik-praktik kepercayaan yang berkembang dalam masyarakat lokal yang dimasukkan ke dalam ajaran tasawuf sehingga seringkali menimbulkan penyalahgunaan kekuasaan dan pemerasan terhadap para pengikutnya. Sedangkan tasawuf melandaskan ajarannya pada al-Qur’an dan hadis untuk melatih hati agar selalu merasa dekat dengan Allah.

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren Al-Wafa memiliki tradisi yang cukup unik, yaitu pembacaan ayat-ayat pilihan yang dilaksanskan setiap Sabtu pagi. Berbeda dengan kebanyakan Pondok Pesantren pada umumnya yang mentradisikan pembacaan ayat-ayat seperti Ayatul Khirz, Al-Waqi’ah, atau Al-Mulk, Pondok Pesantren Al-Wafa justru mentradisikan pembacaan ayat-ayat pilihan yang berkaitan dengan Aqidah dan akhlak seperti Q.S. Luqman: 12-19. Hal tersebut menarik diteliti untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan pembacaan ayat-ayat pilihan di Pondok Pesantren Al-Wafa, Bagaimana latar belakang pembacaan ayat-ayat pilihan di Pondok Pesantren Al-Wafa, serta bagaimana resepsi santri terhadap pembacaan ayat-ayat pilihan di Pondok Pesantren Al-Wafa. Adapun jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif-kualitatif dengan pendekatan teori resepsi eksegesis, estetis dan fungsional Ahmad Rafik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pembacaan ayat-ayat pilihan tersebut merupakan salah satu penerapan Thematic Actual Curriculum dan diresepsi secara eksegegsis yang tercermin ketika santri merasa harus mengaplikasikan apa yang mereka pahami dari pembacaan ayat-ayat pilihan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, secara estetis yang tercermin ketika santri merasa bahwa terdapat keindahan kesesuaian antara hukum dan nilai-nila dalam Al-Quran dengan realitas kehidupan sehari-hari, dan secara fungsional tercermin ketika santri merasa jauh lebih tenang, tentram, bahagia, dan menambah khazanah ilmu ketika mereka mengikuti tradisi pembacaan ayat-ayat pilihan tersebut.

Abstract

This study aims to design an innovative learning program that can increase students' interest in the science of the Qur'an. In today's digital era, the challenge of attracting students' attention to religious material is increasing. Therefore, a creative and interactive approach is needed in the learning process. The program designed integrates information technology, active learning methods, and content that is relevant to students' daily lives. Through the use of digital media such as learning applications, interactive videos, and online discussion platforms, it is hoped that students can be more involved and motivated to study the science of the Qur'an. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach in several educational institutions. The results of the study showed a significant increase in student interest after the implementation of this program, as well as positive feedback from teachers and parents. These findings are expected to be a reference for the development of a more interesting and effective Islamic religious education curriculum in the future.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between the concept of asbab al-nuzul in the Qur'an and the educational value contained therein. Asbab al-nuzul, which is the cause of the revelation of the Qur'anic verse, has an important role in understanding the meaning of the verse that is more contextual, as well as providing wisdom that can be applied in the world of education. Therefore, this study aims to explore the educational values that can be taken from asbab al-nuzul and how the strategy of embedding these educational values in the learning process can be used. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a literature review as a data collection technique. The results of this study show that the educational values found in asbab al-nuzul include determination, gradual learning, relevance of the context of events to teaching materials, and the formation of disciplined and responsible characters. This study concludes that asbab al-nuzul not only functions as an explanation of the context in which the verse was revealed but also as a means to instill educational values that can be applied in Islamic education, such as increasing faith, creating interesting learning, and developing the character of students. Strategies that can be applied to instill these educational values include relevant opening techniques, counseling, and adjusting the curriculum to the conditions of students.

Abstract

The transformation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in the digital era has become a necessity in facing technological developments and changes in the characteristics of students, especially Generation Z. This study aims to analyze the challenges and opportunities in the implementation of digital-based PAI, as well as to formulate strategies that can increase the effectiveness of religious learning in the modern era. The research method used is a literature review with a qualitative approach, which examines various academic sources, journals, books, and reports related to the development of digitalization in religious education. The results of the study show that the digitalization of PAI faces challenges such as minimal digital literacy among educators, limited access to technology for some students, and the potential for misuse of technology. However, there are also various opportunities, such as increasing accessibility of learning resources, the use of attractive interactive media, and the ease of personalizing learning according to the needs of students. The novelty of this study lies in the strategic analysis that highlights the importance of increasing digital competence for educators, developing adaptive technology-based curriculum, and optimizing digital platforms as a more inclusive and effective medium for Islamic preaching and education for Generation Z. Thus, the transformation of PAI in the digital era can be a more relevant means of forming character and contextual understanding of religion for the younger generation.

Abstract

The digital era has brought significant changes in the behavior patterns and character of the younger generation, marked by increasing cases of character degradation such as cyberbullying and decreasing empathy. This phenomenon demands a comprehensive approach in character development that is able to integrate cognitive, emotional, social, and spiritual aspects holistically. This research aims to develop a framework for the integration of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) in Islamic education that can be implemented to shape the holistic character of students in the digital era. Using literature study method with content analysis technique, this research analyzes various literatures related to SEL and Islamic character education within the last 10 years. The results show the alignment between the core components of SEL and the fundamental values of Islamic education, where self-awareness correlates with the concept of muhasabah, self-management is in line with mujahadah an-nafs, social awareness and relationship skills reflect the value of ukhuwah and husn al-mu'asyarah, and responsible decision making is in line with the concept of maslahah. The developed integration framework has shown positive results in the transformation of learners' character, which is reflected in increased spiritual awareness, emotional maturity, social skills, and self-development. Implementation data showed an average 18% increase in learning achievement and a significant decrease in behavioral problems compared to the control group, indicating the effectiveness of this integrated approach in developing learners' holistic character

Abstract

This study aims to identify the impact of two learning methods (sorogan and bandongan) used in the H Mahasantri Complex of Krapyak Islamic Boarding School, Ali Maksum Foundation Yogyakarta. Aiming to find out which learning method is very significant to the ability of Mahasantri to read the yellow book. This research is qualitative in nature with the type of interview study research, the data is analyzed descriptively assisted by written references. This study concludes that the sorogan method and the bandongan method have their own characteristics and uses. in terms of the ability to read the yellow book of Mahasantri, the sorogan method is favored because this method can provide more effective learning. There are many profound positive impacts on the student's scientific development, independence, discipline, and spirituality. The sorogan and bandongan methods can be combined with the aim of improving the quality of education by providing a balance between individual deepening and collective understanding. By combining the two methods, students can learn in more diverse ways, gain a deeper understanding, and overcome the shortcomings that exist in each method.

Abstract

The global environmental crisis has heightened attention to the concept of Mother Earth across various disciplines, including religious studies. This study aims to analyze the interpretation of Qur'anic verses regarding the relationship between humans and nature and to explore how these interpretations can be articulated within the framework of the Mother Earth concept. The method used is a literature review with content analysis of classical (Ath-Thabari) and contemporary (Al-Munir) interpretations of key verses, namely Q.S. Hud [11]: 61, Q.S. Al-A’raf [7]: 57-58, and Q.S. Ar-Rum [30]: 41. The findings reveal that while the term Mother Earth is not explicitly mentioned in the Qur'an, Islamic teachings present a comprehensive perspective on the human-nature relationship that resonates with the essence of this concept. The analyzed verses indicate humans' position as stewards and caretakers of the earth, the reciprocal relationship between humans and nature, and nature as a sign of God's power. This study concludes that the concept of Mother Earth aligns with the Qur'anic principles of environmental preservation and can serve as a practical foundation for equitable and wise environmental management and conservation efforts. The novelty of this research lies in integrating the concept of Mother Earth with Qur'anic interpretations, offering a new perspective on understanding the human-nature relationship within the context of Islam.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify one step more in Tafsir Ruh Al-Ma'ani by Syihabuddin as-Sayyid Mahmud Afandi Al-Alusi Al-Baghdadi. The strategy in this study is qualitative in nature, including a review of relevant literature and an analysis of the historical context. The difficulties surrounding Al-Ma'ani's Ruh Interpretation, the background of the interpretation and interpreters, the methodology and examples of its placement. Al-Alusi hides the existence of humans on earth only to do good deeds to Allah Swt. What is meant by charity is a matter that includes the charity of the heart and the charity of the limbs. Al-Alusi is the embodiment of justice into three meanings: First, Q.S. Al-An'am verse 152 has justice in matter and immateriality. Material justice is closely related to everything related to creatures. Then, a fair picture is closely related to the theological realm. For those who carry out the principles of justice in accordance with existing regulations, they are entitled to a balanced reward. Second, Q.S. Al-Isra' verse 35 Al-Alusi justice of justice (Al-Qist) uses the word Qabban which means balance or scales. Third, Q.S. Al-Jin verse 14 Al-Alusi expresses it with the meaning of recompense or imbalance due to deviations from religious rules. As incompatible with carrying out religious rules.

Abstract

This research discusses the interpretation of the Qur’an with the Qur’an. Interpretation of the Qur’an with the Qur’an is the construction of verse by verse and making each verse into an explanation to conclude the meaning that Allah intended from the Qur’an. This research aims to provide insight to Qur’an fans that the verses of the Qur’an can not only answer global problems, but can also provide and be an answer to the Qur’an it self. This research is qualitative in nature and relies on literature study. This research obtained results from the application of interpretation of the Qur’an with the Qur’an that occurred when Imam Baqir interpreted QS al-Nisa’/4: ​​101 as the basis for the traveler being obliged to make up his prayers. This is based on referring to the sentence لَا جُنَاحَ in QS al-Baqarah/2: 158 which explains that there is no choice to do or leave sa’i between shafa and marwah.
