Abstract

A business feasibility study is the first step to assessing the potential of a business and is the basis for building a business. Running a business that is viable and has a future requires careful calculation and planning. Cisirasa is a business engaged in traditional snacks. The purpose of this research is to analyze the business feasibility of Cisirasa through four main aspects, namely human resources, market and marketing, finance and operations and technology. This is done to find out whether the Cisirasa business is feasible or not to run. The research method used descriptive method with a qualitative approach to analyze the feasibility of cireng business as a culinary business opportunity. Studi kelayakan bisnis merupakan langkah awal untuk menilai potensi sebuah usaha dan menjadi dasar dalam membangun usaha. Menjalankan suatu usaha yang layak dan memiliki masa depan memerlukan perhitungan dan perencanaan yang matang. Cisirasa merupakan usaha yang bergerak di bidang makanan ringan tradisional. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kelayakan bisnis Cisirasa melalui empat aspek utama, yaitu sumber daya manusia, pasar dan pemasaran, kekuangan dan operasional dan teknologi. Hal tersebut dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah usaha Cisirasa ini layak atau tidak untuk dijalankan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif untuk menganalisis kelayakan usaha cireng sebagai peluang bisnis kuliner.

Abstract

Risk management is an important element in managing a cafe business to improve efficiency and ensure operational sustainability. This research aims to analyze risk management at “Muka Bumi Café” with a focus on Operational Risk, Human Resources Risk, Financial Risk, Marketing Risk, and Inherent Risk. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and data analysis. The results showed that Muka Bumi Cafe has implemented a comprehensive risk management strategy, through risk identification, measurement, and control. This research provides a practical contribution for café managers in building resilient risk management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of strategic management to enhance the competitiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through a case study of Cireng Seuhah Panyilekann, a local business specializing in traditional Sundanese snack food, cireng (fried tapioca cake). Despite its potential market, this MSME faces challenges related to product quality, distribution, and promotion. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method, interviews, and direct observation of the business owners and consumers. The findings reveal that product differentiation strategy, along with a strong focus on quality and innovation in flavor varieties, plays a key role in improving competitiveness. Additionally, effective marketing management through social media and partnerships with distribution agents significantly contribute to market expansion and product visibility. By implementing the right strategies, Cireng Seuhah Panyilekann has successfully improved its position in the local market and strengthened customer loyalty.

Abstract

Exporting is a crucial strategy for expanding market reach and enhancing the competitiveness of MSME products in the international arena. This study examines the export strategy implemented by Sahabat Putra Snack, a tempe chips producer from Bandung, in its effort to enter the Malaysian market. Using a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach, the findings indicate that export success is driven not only by product quality but also by effective promotional strategies, intercultural communication, and the utilization of social media as an international marketing tool. Through the X platform (Twitter), the business successfully reached Malaysian consumers, promoted its products, and built trust through direct communication in English. Furthermore, efficient logistics, including affordable shipping services and secure packaging, supported the delivery process. This study provides a practical illustration that with digital and collaborative approaches, Indonesian MSMEs can independently and sustainably compete in global markets.
