Abstract

Peran guru PAK dalam membimbing peserta didik agar terhindar dari pergaulan bebas di SMP Negeri 1 Jelimpo. Guru PAK perlu membimbing, mengarahkan, dan membentuk karakter peserta didik supaya tidak terjerumus dalam pergaulan bebas. Peserta didik perlu taat dan bertanggung jawab setelah mendapatkan nasihat, bimbingan, pengajaran, pembentukan, dan dorongan dari guru PAK melalui proses pembelajaran pendidikan agama Kristen supaya medapatkan pengetahuan yang benar tentang pergaulan bebas.

Abstract

Adat is a way of life that has been passed down from generation to generation, sometimes considered sacred, so that when religion with rules/teachings that are considered new by the community becomes a new way of life, it becomes a problem to be considered as throwing away custom, or people who have forgotten the land, or are arrogant. , fanatic or dubbed uncivilized. From a religious perspective, Christians are divided into several interpretations. The attitude of rejection, which considers customs a sin with the assumption that everything in the world is sin (1 John 2:15-16). Meanwhile, other interpretations are fully accepting of adat. Custom is a gift from God, the fall of man into sin has damaged and confused traditional values, customary values need to be tested with the Word of God. This study uses a qualitative methodology with an interview and literature approach. The result of the research is that Christians should not reject customs, they only need to sort out what is contrary to God's word and what is not contrary to God's word. Customs that are contrary to God's word must be abolished, while customs related to God's word must be cultivated. Conclusion: Christian faith must be above customs because Christian faith is directly related to faith in Christ

Abstract

The role of the pastor is crucial in fostering faith growth within the church, particularly as the faith of Christians has begun to wane in modern times. Many Christians today—both adults and children—display indifference toward their faith in Jesus Christ. This study aims to describe the role of the pastor in nurturing the faith of the congregation at the Dayak Borneo Antajam (GDB) Church. To ensure accurate results, a qualitative research method was employed, utilizing a literature review alongside data collection through observation and documentation. The findings indicate that the more actively the pastor plays a role in nurturing the congregation's faith, the more that faith becomes rooted, grows, and bears fruit in Jesus Christ. The study concludes that the pastor at GDB Antajam has played a vital role in fostering the congregation's faith and continues to provide ongoing faith development for the members of the church.

Abstract

Background: Urban churches face increasing complexity due to globalization, digital transformation, demographic mobility, and religious pluralism. These dynamics require adaptive and transformative pastoral leadership to sustain service quality and congregational growth. Objective: This study aims to analyze the role of transformational pastoral leadership in improving service quality and fostering church growth within an urban context. Method: The research employed a quantitative correlational design with a case study approach. Data were collected through structured questionnaires using a five-point Likert scale to measure pastoral leadership and service quality. Pearson correlation and simple linear regression were applied at a 95% confidence level. Results: The findings reveal a strong positive correlation between pastoral leadership and service quality (r = 0.72; p < 0.05) with a coefficient of determination (R² = 0.52). Leadership also shows a significant relationship with congregational growth (r = 0.65). Overall: Transformational pastoral leadership integrating biblical pastoral principles provides an effective framework for enhancing service quality and promoting sustainable spiritual and relational church growth in urban environments.
