Abstract

This research aims to determine the increase in social studies learning outcomes on the subject of communication production using image media for fourth grade elementary school students. This research was carried out at SDN 3 Nganganaumala. The approach to this research used a mix method by presenting it in qualitative descriptive form and then proving it in quantitative form. The population of this study were all students at SDN 3 Nganganaumala. Meanwhile, the research sample was 25 class IV students at SDN 3 Nganganaumala. The sample was carried out using purposive sampling, namely by taking samples with consideration of aspects. Based on the results of research in the pre-cycle, there were 6 students showing complete grades and 19 students showing incomplete grades, while in the first cycle 10 students showed complete grades and 15 students showed incomplete grades, while in the second cycle there was an increase in learning outcomes, 20 students showed complete grades and 5 students showed incomplete grades. complete.

Abstract

This research aims to improve reading comprehension of texts using picture story media. This type of research is classroom action research, using the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model. This research consisted of four steps, namely, planning, action, observation and reflection, and was carried out in two cycles. The data collection technique used in this research is through tests, observation and documentation. This is proven by research data, namely the results of the pre-cycle test, there were 6 students who completed or 42.85% of all students who got ≥ 65, in the first cycle there were 15 students who finished or 71.47 of all students who got a score ≥ 65, while the results of the second cycle test were 19 students who completed it or 90.47% of all students who got a score ≥ 65. The results of this study show that using picture story media can increase understanding of reading texts from cycle I to cycle II by 90 .47%.

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in the Social Sciences subject, Sub-theme Cultural Diversity of My Nation through the Student Team Achivemenet Division Learning Model with Image Media for Class IV of Lamangga 1 State Elementary School. The design and model used in this research is the Kemmis and Taggart model which includes planning, implementation, observation, reflection and re-planning and the type of research carried out by the researcher is classroom action research (PTK). From the results of the first cycle evaluation, data was obtained from 22 students, there were 13 students who obtained a KKM score of 65 or classically reaching 59% and 9 students who did not complete 41% with an average score of 65.52 and a weighted score achieved of 1,443. Meanwhile, in cycle II, classically, student learning outcomes increased, where of the 22 students, there were 20 students who obtained a KKM score of 65 or classically reaching 91% and 2 students who did not meet the KKM 9% with an average score of 85.22 and weighted score. achieved was 1,875. Based on the research results, it is concluded that the application of the student team achievement team learning model can improve student learning outcomes in Social Sciences subjects in class IV of Lamangga 1 State Elementary School.
