Abstract

This research is qualitative with a descriptive approach, which aims to describe each of the main topics covered in this article, including digital technology and learning media. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained by the researcher from various credible sources, including scientific articles, books, and credible websites. The data used was first collected, selected, corrected, analyzed using a SWOT analysis tool, and conclusions were drawn. The conclusion in this article show that the implementation or use of digital technology as a learning medium can be effective and beneficial for elementary school students due to its higher level of flexibility, greater enjoyment, and continued development. However, this implementation poses several threats and challenges, including excessive costs and the potential for misuse if not properly managed.

Abstract

Transformasi digital menuntut reimajinasi pendidikan kewarganegaraan melalui integrasi artificial intelligence (AI) dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis konseptualisasi kewarganegaraan digital, implementasi AI dalam pembelajaran IPS, serta tantangan dan peluang integrasinya. Metode systematic literature review (SLR) kualitatif digunakan dengan menganalisis 20 jurnal dari Google Scholar, ERIC, Scopus, dan Web of Science periode 2020-2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kewarganegaraan digital bertransformasi menjadi kerangka komprehensif yang mengintegrasikan literasi AI, dimensi etis, teknologis, dan sosial. Implementasi AI melalui penulisan cerita digital, Intelligent Tutoring Systems, dan pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri terbukti meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran siswa hingga 26,2% dan literasi spasial 32-47%. Kerangka CIVIC, Model Konseptual Dewan Eropa, dan DigComp 2.2 menjadi panduan integrasi sistematis. Tantangan meliputi miskonsepsi guru, keterbatasan infrastruktur, dan kesenjangan akses digital. Disarankan pengembangan pedoman kurikulum terintegrasi AI, program pengembangan profesional guru berkelanjutan, dan investasi infrastruktur teknologi untuk memastikan implementasi yang etis, demokratis, dan inklusif.

Abstract

The gap in access to information technology in Indonesia's Frontier, Outermost, and Disadvantaged (3T) regions remains a crucial challenge in efforts to equalize the quality of national education and communication. This community service article aims to document and analyze the effectiveness of socialization of the use of Smart TVs as a means of improving the quality of communication and learning media in 3T regions. The main problems identified are low digital literacy and the use of technological devices that are limited to conventional entertainment functions, despite the enormous potential of internet-based devices to reduce the distance of information. The community service implementation method is carried out through a Community Development approach that includes technical demonstrations, interactive workshops on the use of digital education features, and mentoring for teachers and parents in curating learning content. The results of the community service show an increase in community understanding of the transformative function of Smart TVs as a window to global information and a dynamic instructional tool in schools with limited human resources. This article concludes that strengthening digital literacy through devices familiar in the domestic environment such as television can be an effective bridge to digital inclusion for communities in remote areas.

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPAS pada materi keragaman sosial budaya di sekolah dasar masih menunjukkan rendahnya pemahaman siswa karena media pembelajaran yang digunakan belum interaktif dan adaptif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan serta menguji keefektifan media Smart IPAS SIPAS berbasis web dan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan desain uji keefektifan one-group pretest–posttest. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 12 siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar negeri Kraton 06 tahun 2025/2026. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan media, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas Shapiro–Wilk, uji t berpasangan, dan analisis Normalized Gain (N-Gain). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata pretest sebesar 58,58 meningkat menjadi 83,75 pada posttest. Hasil uji t berpasangan menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara skor pretest dan posttest (Sig. < 0,05). Analisis N-Gain menghasilkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 0,62 dengan kategori sedang, yang mengindikasikan bahwa media Smart IPAS SIPAS efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Media ini mendukung pembelajaran IPAS yang lebih interaktif, kontekstual, dan adaptif melalui integrasi konten keragaman sosial budaya dengan fitur AI. Dengan demikian, media Smart IPAS SIPAS layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran IPAS di sekolah dasar untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.
