Abstract

Land acquisition for public interest development in Indonesia is rife with conflicts and challenges, both in legal, social, and economic aspects. This research aims to analyze the implementation of the law in the land acquisition process, focusing on aspects of transparency, justice, and dispute resolution.The research employs a qualitative approach with a normative juridical method.It analyzes land acquisition for public interest development in Indonesia. The results indicate that while the law offers a robust legal foundation to safeguard landowners' rights, its implementation is marred by deficiencies, including insufficient socialization, the presence of land mafia, inconsistencies in land valuation, and protracted dispute resolution processes.This study underscores the imperative for enhanced coordination among government agencies, fortified supervisory mechanisms, and enhanced protection for affected communities to optimize the efficacy and fairness of the land acquisition process. In conclusion, the findings of this study offer a series of recommendations to enhance the efficacy of implementing the Land Acquisition Law, thereby facilitating the realization of equitable development objectives.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of describing law enforcement against online gambling, regarding the laws governing and sanctions received. The research method used is the Normative Legal research method. where secondary data is used, namely a literature review and statutory regulations governing online gambling. In analyzing legal norms using a normative juridical approach among others : theories of law enforcement against gambling, factors that encourage online gambling, the impact caused and its responsibility for violations of legal norms that can be disruptive and detrimental to the perpetrators and even the majority of Indonesian society, including financial problems, disrupting productivity in work and business, Hinders career advancement and damages mental and emotional health. The steps taken by the government are the formation of an integrated cross-ministerial task force to eradicate online gambling, education and socialization, blocking websites that can access online gambling, prevention and rehabilitation for those who have become victims of online gambling.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to enhance the understanding of the people in Lembang Subdistrict, Majene Regency, regarding the culturally based handling of sexual violence. Through a participatory socialization approach, the activity involved various community elements, including women's and youth groups, to build collective awareness in preventing and addressing sexual violence. The methods used included counseling sessions, interactive discussions, and case handling simulations that integrated customary mechanisms with the formal legal system. This approach enabled participants to understand the steps of reporting and the significant role of traditional institutions in mediation and rehabilitation. Evaluation results showed a significant increase in community knowledge and readiness in dealing with cases of sexual violence, as well as the formation of communication networks between the community and related institutions. The activity recommends the need for culturally based approaches as preventive strategies to create a safe and inclusive environment for all community members.
