Abstract

Every individual or every citizen is expected to be able to live a life of benefit to the nation and state and be able to anticipate developments and changes in the future. For this reason, provision of science, technology and art is needed which is based on religious values, moral values and national cultural values. These basic values are used as role models and life guidelines for every citizen in the life of society, nation and state. One of the learning contents that concerns understanding the unity and awareness of citizens in a country is citizenship education. Comprehensively, this article will discuss the concept, nature and existence of citizenship education learning, especially in elementary schools through literature studies. Literature studies are carried out by analyzing and generalizing various theories that are relevant to the problem being studied as material for developing concepts according to what is being studied. Researchers reveal that citizenship education is a subject that focuses on the formation of citizens who understand and are able to carry out their rights and obligations to become Indonesian citizens who are intelligent, skilled and have character as mandated by Pancasila and UUD1945. In general, citizenship education is a very important subject. important. for students, it has visible characteristics from objects, scope of material, learning strategies, to the final goal of this education.

Abstract

The issue of gambling in Indonesia is a complex and challenging one to address, particularly given the prevalence of the practice, which is especially prevalent in the form of online gambling, which is growing rapidly in tandem with technological advances. Despite the implementation of legal measures, such as the arrest of perpetrators and bookmakers, public awareness of the dangers of gambling remains limited. It is therefore imperative that the government implement more robust measures to combat online gambling. This research employs a qualitative interview method with five informants to gain a comprehensive understanding of the issues involved, as well as to analyze data from various sources regarding social issues related to gambling. In accordance with the stipulations set forth in Law Number 9 of 1981 concerning Gambling Control, all forms of gambling, whether conducted within the confines of casinos or via online platforms, are explicitly prohibited. Furthermore, the license to operate these gambling activities has been revoked as of March 31, 1981. This evidence substantiates the assertion that gambling is an unacceptable practice, as it has the potential to give rise to a range of social issues and cause harm to those who engage in it. In response to the prevalence of online gambling, the government has taken several measures, including collaboration with law enforcement agencies, the formulation of pertinent legislation, partnership with the Ministry of Communication and Information, and the imposition of stringent penalties for those involved in online gambling in accordance with Law No. 19 of 2016.

Abstract

This research began with the discovery of a case about the teacher's method in overcoming students' difficulties in reading the Qur'an. The purpose of this research is to reveal: (1) Students' difficulties in reading the Qur'an in the Qur'an Hadith learning of class II at MIS Tarbiyah Tebas in the 2024-2025 academic year. (2) Teachers' methods in teaching students to read the Qur'an in the Qur'an Hadith learning of class II at MIS Tarbiyah Tebas in the 2024-2025 academic year. (3) Teachers' solutions in overcoming students' difficulties in reading the Qur'an in the Qur'an Hadith learning of class II at MIS Tarbiyah Tebas in the 2024-2025 academic year. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study research type. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out by data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity checking techniques use source triangulation, and member checks. The results of the study indicate that: (1) The difficulties experienced by second-grade students of MIS Tarbiyah Tebas in reading the Qur'an include difficulties in identifying letters, pronouncing letters according to the makharijul huruf, reading according to the rules of tajwid, and distinguishing long and short harakat. (2) The method used by the Al-Qur'an Hadith subject teacher to overcome students who experience difficulties in reading the Qur'an is the Iqra' method. (3) The teacher's solution to overcome students' difficulties in reading the Qur'an in learning Al-Qur'an Hadith in second-grade students of MIS Tarbiyah Tebas is providing individual guidance, creating innovative learning, and choosing the right time to study the Qur'an with students. The solutions implemented have been deemed effective in overcoming students who experience difficulties in reading the Qur'an.

Abstract

Therapeutic communication in the healing process of patients with mental disorders is very helpful. Nurse skills in therapeutic communication are critical to the success of many psychiatric nursing interventions. In carrying out rehabilitation and healing of patients with mental disorders, Al Fajar Berseri Foundation applies therapeutic communication between patients and nurses, head nurses, spiritual directors and Foundations (managers). In the process of running therapeutic communication, both carried out by nurses, spiritual companions and managers, encountered several obstacles in its implementation. These obstacles require time and adaptation from nurses to mental patients in the institution. The purpose of this study is to explore and reveal the obstacles that occur in the therapeutic communication process that takes place between nurses, spiritual assistants, Foundation managers in patients with mental disorders at Al Fajar Berseri Foundation and how to overcome them. This study used a qualitative approach with constructivitis method. The results stated that therapeutic communication barriers between patients and nurses, spiritual companions and managers at the Al Fajar Berseri Foundation can arise due to a number of factors, including the patient's emotional condition. Variations in the type of communication barriers, namely memory impairments that affect the patient's ability to communicate effectively. The forms of communication barriers with mental patients can range from mild to severe. A patient and empathetic communication approach is key in overcoming barriers to therapeutic communication with mental patients. In addition, it is also important to find the right time and conditions in communicating with patients.

Abstract

This research was design to examine whether videos could strengthen listening skill. It was a pre-experimental research. The participants were the Year-10 Students of Learning Group X Marketing 2 from Public Vocational High School 3 Pontianak in the Academic Year of 2022/2023. Based on the data analysis, the result showed that the video-based technique increased the student's achievement significantly in listening skill. The students showed enthusiasm during the teaching and learning process. They were very enthusiastic in applying the video technique when listening to a text. The t-test computation was higher than the t-critical value (10.36 > 2.045). The score of effect size was 1,79, and it is >1,00, categorized ‘strong’. To conclude, the video-based technique enhanced the students to listen texts better. With video, the students understood the media video helped students to understand the language even if they do not know what the words mean, by providing visual aspects of the communique. Thus, the writer suggested this technique be implemented in teaching listening ability.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of using interactive media in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning on students' learning interest at SMP Negeri 2 Sipispis. The background of this study is based on the low interest in learning of students as reflected in the lack of active participation and enthusiasm in participating in PAI learning. The use of interactive media is expected to be a solution to overcome this challenge and create a more interesting learning atmosphere. This study uses a quantitative method with an experimental approach. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and interviews to measure the level of students' learning interest before and after the use of interactive media. The research sample involved grade VIII students who were selected randomly. Data analysis was carried out using statistical tests to see significant differences between conditions before and after the intervention. The results showed that the use of interactive media, such as learning videos, online quizzes, and material simulations, significantly increased students' learning interest. This increase can be seen from the increasing activity of students in discussions, increasing curiosity, and the ease of students in understanding teaching materials. These findings indicate that the integration of technology in PAI learning can strengthen students' intrinsic motivation and support a more meaningful learning process. Therefore, it is recommended for teachers to continue to develop technology-based learning innovations in order to create a conducive learning environment that is in accordance with the characteristics of the current digital generation

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) dalam menunjang perkembangan peserta didik di SMP Negeri 1 Telagasari. Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada bentuk layanan yang diterapkan, peran guru BK, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pelaksanaan layanan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan (field research). Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa layanan BK di SMP Negeri 1 Telagasari terlaksana dengan baik dan terintegrasi dengan kegiatan sekolah. Layanan yang diberikan meliputi bimbingan klasikal, konseling individu, konseling kelompok, serta advokasi terhadap siswa. Faktor pendukung pelaksanaan layanan BK meliputi dukungan kepala sekolah, fasilitas ruang BK yang memadai, serta kolaborasi antara guru BK, wali kelas, dan orang tua. Sementara itu, faktor penghambat yang ditemukan adalah karakter siswa yang masih labil, keterbatasan waktu guru BK, dan pengaruh penggunaan gawai di lingkungan sekolah. Secara keseluruhan, layanan BK berperan signifikan dalam membantu siswa mengembangkan potensi diri, memperbaiki perilaku, serta menumbuhkan kedisiplinan dan tanggung jawab di lingkungan sekolah.
