Abstract

ABSTRAK Pengembangan dan penelitian terus menerus dilakukan dalam pembinaan atlet, perubahan dan pergeseran fokus serta tujuan olahraga prestasi juga terus bermunculan. Sehingga perlu dilakukan analisis secara bibliometrik artikel-artikel penelitian pada rentang waktu tahun 2013 sampai tahun 2023 yang berkaitan dengan kata kunci athelete development. Analisis dilakukan untuk mengungkap pola perkembangan penelitian, artikel dan penulis terkemuka, jurnal, institusi dan Negara. Visualisasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan VOSviewer. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan bagi bidang keilmuan kepelatihan dan pengembangan atlet, terutama peneliti-peneliti, serta pembaca untuk mengidentifikasi perkembangan penelitian tentang athlete development, serta mengidentifikasi kajian-kajian penelitian terbaru yang potensial. Ditemukan bahwa secara umum penelitian pada kata kunci athlete development terus berkembang, dari tahun 2013 dengan jumlah publikasi sebanyak 16 artikel, meningkat sampai tahun 2023 dengan 50 artikel. United Kingdom menjadi negara paling produktif dengan menyumbang 112 publikasi, dengan jumlah sitasi sebanyak 3276 kutipan terkait athlete development. Abstract

Dribbling is a basic technique that must be mastered by every soccer player because it is an important component in the game of soccer. This study aims to determine the effect of dribbling training using the circuit training method on improving the dribbling skills of Coerver Coaching U-15 soccer players. The research method used is an experiment with a Control Group Pre-test and Post-test design. The population in this study was Coerver Coaching Bandung players, with a sample of 14 U-15 players selected using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used was a 2-meter slalom dribble test. The results showed that the group using the circuit training method experienced an average increase from 10.36 to 8.34, with a difference of 2.02. While the control group experienced an average increase from 10.41 to 9.41, with a difference of 0.99. Hypothesis testing using the t-test shows a t-count value of 10.27 t-table 2.45, which means there is a significant increase in the experimental group. Thus, it can be concluded that dribbling training using the circuit training method has a significant effect on improving the dribbling skills of Coerver Coaching U-15 soccer players.

Abstract

Purpose: This study compares differences in physical fitness (PF), learning motivation, and learning outcomes based on senior high school students' BMI (BMI). It examines students' PF across different BMI categories, the relationship between BMI and learning motivation, and Physical Education learning outcomes based on BMI. Materials and Methods: This study uses a quantitative approach of ex-post-facto type and comparative studies. The research population is 859 senior high school students. The sample was 95 students, who were selected using random cluster sampling and purposive random sampling techniques. The instruments used are TKJI, learning motivation scales, and grades. The data was analyzed using a multivariate statistical analysis of variance (MANOVA). Result: 1) There were differences in PF, learning motivation, and learning outcomes of students based on BMI (sig 0.000); 2) There is a difference in students' PF based on BMI (sig 0.000); 3) There was no difference in student learning motivation based on BMI (sig 0.867); 4) There is a difference in the learning outcomes of Physical Education students based on BMI (sig 0.000). Conclusion: This study found differences in PF and Physical Education learning outcomes based on BMI but not in learning motivation. The results highlight the need for tailored learning models, improved strategies, and a more decisive role for Physical Education in student well-being and learning quality.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to increase students' knowledge and awareness about PHBS in schools and always apply it in everyday life. The method of implementing Community Service activities is in the form of socialization with the lecture method to participants at SMK Migas Bumi Melayu Riau, then given leaflets about socialization about PHBS in Schools as many as 30 participants. Based on the results of the evaluation of students' knowledge and understanding of PHBS in schools during community service, it shows an increase in knowledge and understanding with a total score of more or equal to 90%. The material presented can be understood by all socialization participants and is felt to be very useful, which in turn can change the behavior of students at SMK Migas Bumi Melayu Riau in a better and positive direction, namely realizing the importance of implementing PHBS in schools and in everyday life. The conclusion is that the increased knowledge and understanding of the socialization participants about PHBS in schools. It is recommended to all participants who do not know and understand about PHBS in schools, so that they can increase their knowledge and understanding of PHBS at SMK Migas Bumi Melayu Riau.

Abstract

Renang menawarkan beberapa manfaat kesehatan, terutama dalam meningkatkan kapasitas paru-paru dan memperkuat otot-otot pernapasan. Teknik yang sering digunakan dalam hidroterapi adalah renang gaya dada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak renang gaya dada terhadap penurunan kejadian ke kambuhan asma pada anak sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain kuasi-eksperimental dengan menggunakan metodologi kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari anak-anak dengan asma yang terlibat dalam program pelatihan renang gaya dada selama jangka waktu tertentu. Data dikumpulkan dengan mengukur kapasitas paru-paru dan frekuensi ke kambuhan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa latihan renang gaya dada yang konsisten meningkatkan kapasitas paru-paru dan secara nyata mengurangi gejala asma. Strategi pernapasan dalam renang gaya dada memfasilitasi kontrol pernapasan dan meningkatkan otot-otot yang terlibat dalam sistem pernapasan. Kesimpulannya, renang gaya dada dapat menjadi teknik hidroterapi yang berkhasiat untuk mengurangi kejadian serangan asma pada anak-anak. Oleh karena itu, berenang disarankan sebagai intervensi non-farmakologis untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup anak-anak sekolah dasar yang menderita asma.

Abstract

This research aims to know the effect of shuttle run training (X) on the Agility (Y) of Kumite athletes at the Karate SKO Riau.  The method used in this research is an experimental method, with the research design used in this study is "One-Group Pretest Postest Design".  The population of this study was the Kumite Athletes Karate SKO Riau, in total 11 athletes.  The instrument that used in this study was the Dodging Run Test.  Data analysis and research hypothesis testing using independent t (t-test) with a significant level (α) of 0.05 with a confidence level of 0.95%.  Based on data analysis with the results: Pre-test average 25.9 in the Post-test 23.9 increased by 2 or 7.72% with the result (t-count 9.12 t-table 1.812), so Ho is rejected Ha accepted.  Therefore it can be concluded that shuttle run training affects the agility of Kumite Athletes Karate SKO Riau.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of skipping training on increasing wrist flexibility and leg power strength in JR19 badminton academy athletes. This study used an experimental approach by measuring significant changes in wrist flexibility and leg power before and after the implementation of skipping training. Sample of 18 people, 10 boys and 8 girls. The research design used One Group Pre test and Post test Desaign. From the results of the prestest descriptive test, the average value of the wrist flexibility test from pre test to post test shows a significant increase. It is known that the sig value (p-value) for testing the pre test with the post test = 0.008, it can be concluded that the sig value (p-value) for testing the pre test with the post test is 0.008 and 0.008 < α = 0.05 so it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of skipping training to increase leg power in JR19 badminton academy athletes. The results of the skipping exercise research have a significant effect on increasing wrist flexibility and leg muscle power in JR19 badminton academy athletes

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh latihan depth jump over hurdle terhadap kemampuan smash atlet bulu tangkis. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-experiment, melibatkan 15 mahasiswa Jurusan Penjaskesrek Universitas Riau sebagai sampel. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes smash sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan latihan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai smash meningkat dari 21.2667 pada pretest menjadi 25,6000 pada posttest, dengan peningkatan signifikan sebesar 4,3333. Uji normalitas dan homogenitas menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan homogen, mendukung validitas analisis. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi p < 0,05, yang mengindikasikan bahwa latihan depth jump over hurdle berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan smash. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa latihan plyometrik dapat meningkatkan kekuatan otot dan teknik smash, memberikan kontribusi penting bagi pelatih dan atlet dalam merancang program latihan yang lebih efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis korelasi antara pengetahuan gizi dengan pola sarapan siswa di SMA Negeri 3 Tapung, Kabupaten Kampar, Provinsi Riau. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh pentingnya sarapan bagi konsentrasi belajar dan kesehatan siswa, serta indikasi bahwa pengetahuan gizi dapat memengaruhi pola makan. Namun, masih banyak siswa yang cenderung mengabaikan sarapan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan gizi siswa dengan pola sarapan siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa SMA Negeri 3 Tapung, dan sampel diambil secara acak menggunakan simple random sampling. Data pengetahuan gizi dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner yang telah divalidasi, sementara data pola sarapan diperoleh melalui kuesioner pola makan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson dengan bantuan perangkat lunak statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi positif yang signifikan antara pengetahuan gizi dengan pola sarapan siswa (r=0.68 dan p<0.001). Siswa dengan pengetahuan gizi yang lebih baik cenderung memiliki pola sarapan yang lebih teratur dan berkualitas. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah bahwa pengetahuan gizi memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk pola sarapan yang sehat pada siswa.

Abstract

Swimming is not only a competitive sport but also an effective intervention to improve physical and mental health. Despite its proven benefits, the integration of swimming into wellness programs in higher education is still limited, particularly in developing countries such as Indonesia. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of an 8-week wellness swimming program on physical fitness and psychological well-being of sports education students at Riau University. A mixed-methods approach was used, incorporating quantitative data from 30 students (measured through the 12-minute Cooper Test, PSQI, DASS-21, and Likert scales) as well as semi-structured interviews with 5 participants. Quantitative results showed significant improvements in cardiovascular fitness (p < 0.01), sleep quality (p < 0.01), as well as decreased stress levels (p < 0.05) and daily fatigue (p < 0.01). Qualitative findings revealed increased energy, mental relaxation, and social support. The program was effective in improving physical and psychological health, supporting its integration into campus wellness initiatives. Colleges should consider swimming as a holistic wellness intervention, with the recommendation of continued research to explore long-term effects and scalability.
