Abstract

Digital literacy plays a crucial role in the psychological development of elementary school children, particularly in cognitive, social, and emotional aspects. In today's digital era, children grow up exposed to technology from an early age, making it essential to understand its impact. This study aims to analyze the influence of digital literacy on children's psychology by highlighting both the benefits and challenges it brings. The method used is a literature review, referring to various previous studies that discuss the relationship between digital literacy and children's psychological development. The results show that digital literacy provides numerous positive impacts, such as enhancing critical thinking skills, fostering creativity, and expanding children's communication and social interaction abilities. Access to digital information also enables children to better understand global social issues and develop empathy. However, excessive use of digital technology without proper supervision can lead to negative effects such as gadget addiction, social isolation, concentration problems, as well as exposure to inappropriate content and cyberbullying. Therefore, the role of parents, educators, and policymakers is vital in providing education, supervision, and appropriate guidance to children in using technology. This study emphasizes that digital literacy has a complex influence on children's psychology, requiring a balanced approach to maximize its benefits while minimizing its risks. With the right strategies, digital literacy can become an effective tool to support children's holistic development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak penggunaan gadget terhadap minat dan prestasi belajar siswa di Sekolah Dasar. Gadget adalah alat elektronik yang memiliki fungsi spesifik dan dirancang agar mudah digunakan. Metode yang digunakan adalah literatur review, dimana mengkaji literatur yang telah ada. Penggunaan gadget yang berlebihan mengakibatkan peserta didik kehilangan konsentrasi, fokus, dan perhatian terhadap pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil tinjauan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan gadget mempunyai dampak pada pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Penggunaan gadget yang dimaksud yaitu penggunaan yang berlebihan akan menimbulkan dampak buruk pada minat dan nilai akhir belajar siswa di tingkat Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Digital literacy plays an important role in the psychological development of elementary school children, both from cognitive, social, and emotional aspects. This study aims to analyze the influence of digital literacy on child psychology by highlighting the positive and negative impacts it causes. The research method used is a literature review with reference to various previous studies on digital literacy and its development in children. The results of the study show that digital literacy can improve critical thinking skills, creativity, and expand children's social interactions. In addition, access to technology can also help children understand the world more broadly and increase empathy for social issues. However, excessive use of digital technology without adequate supervision can have negative impacts, such as addiction to gadgets, decreased social interaction, and impaired concentration in learning. Exposure to age-inappropriate content and the risk of cyberbullying are also threats to children's mental health. Therefore, an active role of parents, educators, and policymakers is needed in supervising and guiding children in using digital technology wisely. This study confirms that digital literacy has a complex impact on child psychology. With proper guidance and supervision, the benefits of digital literacy can be optimized, while the negative impact can be minimized. Therefore, a balanced approach in the application of digital literacy is needed to support the optimal development of children's psychology.

Abstract

Technological advances have encouraged innovation in education, including the use of interactive learning media in primary schools aims to enhance student engagement and improve learning outcomes. This study analyzes the impact, challenges, and effectiveness of interactive media through a literature review of relevant scientific journals. The findings reveal that tools such as PowerPoint, educational videos, and Kahoot significantly boost student motivation, facilitate better understanding of concepts, and promote active participation. However, challenges like limited access to technology, teacher preparedness, and varying student competencies must be addressed to maximize the potential of these media in education, among other things, increase interest in learning, facilitate understanding of the material, and encourage active participation of students. They also support independent learning, help students and teachers develop technology skills, and improve information retention, thus creating a more effective, efficient and enjoyable learning experience. However, challenges such as limited access to technology and teachers' lack of skills in operating interactive media are still an obstacle. With good planning and training for educators, interactive learning media can be an innovative solution in creating a more effective, fun and meaningful learning process for students in the digital era

Abstract

Learning strategies are very important to be applied in preparation for the implementation of learning in its implementation can be attributed to local wisdom which is a concept that refers to the culture of the surrounding community. This study aims to analyze learning strategies based on local wisdom and its integration with the improvement of narrative writing skills in Indonesian language learning over the last 10 years which have been published in SINTA-indexed journals. This research is a qualitative research using a literature review of 20 articles. The writing of this article is assisted by several applications such as publish or perish and mendeley. Learning strategies can be associated with local wisdom that is adapted to the culture in the local environment. The results of the literature review are in the form of a classification of learning strategies in improving the ability to write narratives based on local wisdom. The results of the analysis show that local wisdom can be integrated into learning models, learning media, and the development of teaching materials. Based on the research, the application of learning strategies based on local wisdom can improve the ability to write narrative texts and can train critical thinking, creativity and cultural literacy.

Abstract

Digital technology has become a habit in human life. To face this digital era, an understanding of digital literacy is needed that can increase students' literacy skills. This study was conducted with the aim of describing a literature review on Strategies in Increasing Students' Reading Interest with Digital Literacy in Learning. This research method uses a literature review method. The data sources for this study are 5 journals in the last 5 years. The results of the study show that the 5 journals have differences, but there are similarities, namely regarding digital literacy. Digital literacy is an effective means of increasing the effectiveness of student learning if used properly and according to the goals to be achieved. The thing that distinguishes digital literacy from reading and writing literacy is the sources used by students in the form of reading sources.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of efforts to optimize literacy activities in increasing students' interest in reading, especially at the elementary school level. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with elementary school students as the research subjects. Data collection techniques are carried out through literature reviews of scientific sources, such as books, academic journals, and proceedings from various scientific seminars both at national and international levels. The data obtained are analyzed using descriptive analysis methods, with an emphasis on describing the phenomena that occur and a solution-oriented approach to the problem of low student interest in reading. Based on the results of the study, it was found that structured and enjoyable reading activities need to be continuously encouraged and developed. In fact, these activities should not only be routine, but also become part of a learning culture that is inherent in students' daily lives. Thus, efforts to increase literacy are very important in shaping the future of a bright young generation. Instilling awareness of the importance of reading must be done early on, especially in elementary school environments, so that interest in reading can grow naturally. In addition, support is needed from all parties, including teachers, parents, and other educational institutions, to create a learning environment that supports the development of literacy. By getting used to reading and utilizing knowledge from various reading sources, students can enrich their insights and improve the quality of their thinking in everyday life.

Abstract

Canva adalah sebuah platform yang bisa digunakan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran menarik serta interaktif. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk menelaah sejauh mana efektivitas pemakaian Canva selaku media interaktif dalam pembelajaran IPAS di sekolah dasar, juga membagikan rekomendasi bagi pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang lagi kreatif dan canggih dan sesuai dengan tuntutan era digital. Metode yang digunakan Metode Literatur Riview, dimana mengkaji literatur yang sudah ada. Berdasarkan hasil kajian, Penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif berbantuan Canva dalam pembelajaran IPAS di Sekolah Dasar mampu menambah pemahaman, kemampuan berpikir kritis serta hasil belajar siswa.  Stategi yangdapat dilakukan untuk pengoptimalan penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif berbantuan Canva yaitu (1) Pelatihan guru; (2) Kolaborasi antar guru; (3) penyediaan sarana dan prasarana pendukung

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji efektivitas penerapan metode fun learning dalam mengurangi kecemasan matematika pada siswa sekolah dasar. Latar belakang penelitian ini berfokus pada masalah kecemasan yang sering dialami oleh siswa dalam pelajaran matematika, yang mana kecemasan ini dapat menghambat proses pembelajaran dan pencapaian hasil belajar mereka. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peran metode fun learning dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang menyenangkan dan mengurangi kecemasan matematika pada siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR), dengan pendekatan Narrative Review. Data dikumpulkan melalui pencarian literatur di Google Scholar, dengan memilih artikel yang relevan dan memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 10 artikel yang diterbitkan dalam kurun waktu terbaru dan relevan dengan topik penelitian. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menelaah, menganalisis, dan mengevaluasi hasil penelitian terdahulu untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang mendalam mengenai penerapan metode fun learning dalam konteks kecemasan matematika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode fun learning, yang melibatkan permainan interaktif dan media kreatif seperti ludo, dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi matematika, mengurangi rasa takut, dan meningkatkan minat belajar mereka. Peningkatan nilai rata-rata siswa yang signifikan antara nilai pretest dan posttest, membuktikan efektivitas metode ini dalam mengatasi kecemasan matematika. Oleh karena itu, disarankan untuk menerapkan metode fun learning secara konsisten dalam pembelajaran matematika untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang menyenangkan dan efektif dalam mengurangi kecemasan serta meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This article aims to explore the implementation of character education through literacy activities in primary schools. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature study method of a number of relevant previous studies. Data were collected through document analysis and scientific articles, especially those discussing the integration of literacy and character values in primary school settings. The results of the study show that the implementation of literacy activities, such as reading 15 minutes before lessons, managing reading corners in the classroom and involving teachers and parents in reading habituation, can instill character values such as discipline, responsibility, cooperation and love of reading. Literacy activities not only play a role in improving students' literacy skills but are also effective in building a school culture that supports holistic character strengthening.
