Abstract

This study examines the role of the Islamic Boarding School Organization (OPP) in instilling Islamic education values ​​at the Irsyadul Islamiyah Tanjung Medan Islamic Boarding School. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this study collected data through observation, interviews, and documentation. Triangulation was used as a validity technique in this study. Data analysis techniques in this study include data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that OPP plays an effective role in instilling Islamic education values ​​through various activities such as studying yellow books, preaching, al-barzanji, and yasin. The values ​​instilled include faith and piety, discipline, responsibility, Islamic brotherhood, leadership, and Islamic scientific and ethical values. Supporting factors in implementing the role of OPP include full support from the Islamic boarding school, active participation of students, and diversity of work programs. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include limited human resources who are competent in leadership, minimal facilities and infrastructure, and low discipline of some students. This study concludes that OPP is an important instrument in the formation of the character of students in accordance with Islamic values.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the strategy for learning sentence structure Arabic language (tarkib) in Madrasah. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with the type of library research, or a series of studies related to library data collection methods, or research whose research objects are explored through various library information in the form of books, encyclopedias, scientific journals, newspapers, magazines, and documents. In the discussion, several things are presented: the definition and purpose of sentence structure learning, methods, techniques, and how the sentence structure learning media itself. Several methods can be used to learn tarkib: the Qowa'id wa Tarjamah Method (grammar and translation), the question and answer method, and the drill method. The techniques of teaching tarkib are repetition, question and answer, making questions, changing tarkib, perfecting sentences, composing sentences, and matching exercises. The media that can be used are structure cubes, skid boards, and concept maps.

Abstract

Training on the use of AI and Canva in creating creative learning media for lecturers and teachers is a crucial skill for every lecturer and teacher. The use of technology in education is increasingly important with the development of the digital era. This research and activity aims to improve the ability of lecturers and teachers to design creative and engaging learning media through the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and the graphic design application Canva. Through a practice-based training approach, participants are equipped with the knowledge and skills to utilize various AI features in compiling materials and using Canva to design interactive and visual learning media displays. The results of the activity show an increase in participants' creativity and efficiency in creating teaching materials, as well as an increased understanding of the use of digital technology to support the learning process. This activity is expected to encourage innovation and improve the quality of teaching in higher education and school environments.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam meningkatkan kepedulian terhadap pelestarian lingkungan pada generasi muda. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada urgensi mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai agama dalam pendidikan lingkungan untuk menjawab tantangan ekologi yang semakin mendesak. Pertanyaan penelitian yang diajukan adalah: Bagaimana Pendidikan Agama Islam dapat berkontribusi dalam membentuk sikap dan tindakan ramah lingkungan pada generasi muda? Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipatif terhadap siswa sekolah menengah di beberapa lembaga pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nilai-nilai keislaman dalam kurikulum dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan kesadaran dan tindakan pro-lingkungan di kalangan siswa. Temuan ini diperkuat dengan adanya peningkatan aktivitas siswa dalam program-program pelestarian lingkungan seperti penghijauan dan pengelolaan sampah. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa Pendidikan Agama Islam memiliki potensi besar dalam membentuk generasi muda yang peduli terhadap lingkungan, melalui pendekatan holistik yang menggabungkan aspek spiritual dan praktis dalam pendidikan. Penulis berargumen bahwa penguatan kurikulum PAI dengan muatan lingkungan dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam mendukung keberlanjutan ekologi di masa depan.Kata kunci: Pendidikan Agama Islam; Kepedulian Lingkungan; Generasi Muda; Pelestarian Lingkungan; Kurikulum.

Abstract

Pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran menggunakan AI dengan tujuan agar pembelajaran terus dikembangkan dan diinovasi khususnya kemajuan zaman di era digitalisasi dalam meningkatkan keterampilan untuk memanfaatkan teknologi. Metode pada pengabdian ini menggunakan metode pelatihan dan forum grup diskusi dengan mahasiswa. Kemajuan teknologi menjadi tuntutan bagi semua kalangan khususnya di dunia pendidikan. Mahasiswa dalam pembuatan media presentasi power point yang sering dilakukan selalu mengalami kesulitan, mau tidak mau mahasiswa harus terus mengupgrade teknologi agar tidak tertinggal. Hingga inilah saatnya mahasiswa harus aktif dan inovotif dalam pembuatan power point dengan bantuan AI menggunakan gamma.app sehingga dapat mendukung pengembangan media pembelajaran. Kegiatan yang dilakukan pada pengabdian ini yaitu mensosialisasikan kepada mahasiswa tentang pemanfaatan penggunaan teknologi, pelatihan penggunaan AI, pendampingan dalam pembuatan powerpoint dengan bantuan AI. Pelatihan yang dilakukan sangat membantu dan meningkatkan semangat dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran karena sangat mudah dan sangat mengasikkan sehingga mereka sangat senang dengan pelatihan yang dilakukan dengan banyak manfaat yang didapatkan dalam pemanfaatan penggunaan teknologi bantua AI.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of congregational prayer habits in shaping the religious character of students at SMA Muhammadiyah 10 Rantau Prapat. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data in this study used triangulation techniques. Data analysis techniques in this study include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the habit of congregational prayer is implemented in a structured manner and supervised by the school, especially during the Dzuhur prayer. Supporting factors for implementation include school policies, teacher support, availability of worship facilities, parental support, and peer influence. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are the lack of individual awareness, laziness, and the influence of the environment outside the school. The habit of congregational prayer has been proven to have a positive impact on the formation of students' religious character, as indicated by increased discipline, responsibility, togetherness, and self-control. This study concludes that the habit of congregational prayer is an effective method in shaping students' religious character which includes spiritual and social aspects. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi pembiasaan shalat berjamaah dalam membentuk karakter religius siswa di SMA Muhammadiyah 10 Rantau Prapat. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Validitas data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembiasaan shalat berjamaah diterapkan secara terstruktur dan diawasi oleh pihak sekolah, terutama pada waktu shalat Dzuhur. Faktor pendukung pelaksanaan meliputi kebijakan sekolah, dukungan guru, ketersediaan fasilitas ibadah, dukungan orang tua, dan pengaruh teman sebaya. Sementara itu, faktor penghambatnya adalah kurangnya kesadaran individu, rasa malas, dan pengaruh lingkungan luar sekolah. Pembiasaan shalat berjamaah terbukti berdampak positif terhadap pembentukan karakter religius siswa, yang ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, kebersamaan, dan kontrol diri. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pembiasaan shalat berjamaah merupakan metode efektif dalam membentuk karakter religius siswa yang mencakup aspek spiritual dan sosial.
