Abstract

The low interest of students in participating in learning activities motivated this research. Lack of student participation in discussions or asking questions has an impact on decreasing interest in learning. This factor is not only related to education, but also influenced by student behavior, suitability of materials, and teaching methods that do not match their interests and learning styles. Podcast media is an effective educational option. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of podcast media on learning interest of Master of PAI students class of 2023 UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. This study involved 31 PAI students of class E. A quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design (one-group pre-test and post-test) was used to collect data to measure changes in learning interest. The analysis results showed that the podcast effectively increased students' interest in learning. Before the treatment, 9 students (29%) had high interest, 19 students (61.2%) had moderate interest, and 6 students (19.4%) had low interest. However, after the treatment, students who had low interest dropped to 16 students (52%). With a significance value of 0.001 (p < 0.05), the statistical analysis showed a significant difference between before and after the treatment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of clinical supervision at MTS At-Tibyan Deli Serdang in digital era and its implications for improving teachers’ professional competence and the quality of students’ learning outcomes. This research employed a qualitative approach with field research design and hybrid data collection techniques, including online interviews, direct classroom observations, and analysis of digital supervision documents. Informants were selected using purposive sampling, involving supervisors, supervised teachers, and curriculum staff. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source, technique, and time triangulation. The findings indicate that digital-based clinical supervision utilizing Google Spreadsheet enhances the effectiveness of observation processes, transparency of assessment, and efficiency in supervision data management. The supervision process includes natural classroom observations, individualized follow-up, and continuous collective training. The results also show a significant improvement in teachers’ professional competence, including teaching preparedness, use of digital learning media, classroom management, and the ability to design active learning. Furthermore, clinical supervision contributes to increased student participation, motivation, and conceptual understanding through the application of more interactive and constructive learning methods. Thus, digital-based clinical supervision proves to be an effective strategy for improving teaching quality in the digital era.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the need to understand Islamic educational values within the Undang-Undang Simbur Cahaya authored by Ratu Sinuhun, particularly in safeguarding women’s dignity amid contemporary moral challenges. The research aims to describe and analyze these values as the foundation of Islamic character education. This library research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. The population consists of literature related to the Undang-Undang Simbur Cahaya and Ratu Sinuhun’s role, with purposive sampling. The main instrument is documentation and an analysis guideline, with data analyzed through content and descriptive analysis techniques. The findings confirm that the Undang-Undang Simbur Cahaya embodies values of faith, respect for human existence, responsible freedom, and social responsibility in preserving women’s dignity. The conclusion highlights that these values are highly relevant and suitable for integration into contemporary Islamic education to build a humane and contextual character.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis urgensi dan integrasi literasi digital serta literasi informasi dalam konteks pendidikan, khususnya pada Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di era disrupsi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan (library research) dengan mengumpulkan data dari berbagai literatur seperti buku, jurnal, dan dokumen terkait yang diklasifikasikan menjadi sumber primer dan sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi digital dan informasi bukan sekadar kemampuan teknis penggunaan perangkat, melainkan kompetensi kognitif, etis, dan spiritual yang mencakup kemampuan berpikir kritis serta verifikasi informasi (tabayyun). Dalam perspektif Islam, literasi berakar pada perintah membaca (Iqra) dan kewajiban melakukan klarifikasi terhadap informasi untuk menghindari hoaks. Kesimpulan penelitian menegaskan bahwa integrasi kedua literasi ini dalam pembelajaran sangat strategis untuk membentuk karakter peserta didik yang cerdas dan bertanggung jawab, meskipun implementasinya masih menghadapi tantangan berupa rendahnya kemampuan literasi siswa dan keterbatasan fasilitas.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of TikTok social media usage on the learning concentration of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 165 Palembang. This study uses a quantitative approach with an ex post facto research type. The sample in this study amounted to 20 students selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The research instrument used a Likert scale of 1–4 which has been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used was simple linear regression with prerequisite tests in the form of normality and linearity tests. The results showed that all instruments were declared valid and reliable with a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.926. The research data were also normally distributed and had a linear relationship. The results of the regression analysis showed that there was a significant effect between TikTok social media usage on student learning concentration, as indicated by a significance value smaller than 0.05. The direction of the resulting effect tended to be negative, which means that the higher the intensity of TikTok use, the lower the student's learning concentration. Based on these results, it can be concluded that TikTok social media usage affects student learning concentration. Therefore, supervision and control of social media usage are needed to prevent negative impacts on the learning process.
