Abstract

This study aims to understand the extent to which character education is applied in the PPKn learning process, as well as the factors that influence the success or challenges faced by teachers and students. By knowing the effectiveness of the implementation of character education, it is expected to provide recommendations to improve the quality of learning and shape better student characters in elementary school environments. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive research with data collection techniques through literature reviews, which include 10 journal articles, as well as other documents relevant to the research topic. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of strengthening character education in PPKn learning in elementary schools shows that strengthening character through PPKn learning plays an important role in shaping students' positive attitudes and behaviors. This study identified that the methods applied, such as learning based on moral and social values, help students understand the importance of good character. Teachers play an active role in providing examples, as well as creating an environment that supports national values and ethics. Although there are challenges in its implementation, the results are quite significant in increasing students' awareness of the importance of character in everyday life.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the extent to which the use of concrete objects can help students understand the concept of volume, and how it affects student engagement and motivation to learn. This study aims to examine the use of concrete objects in learning the volume of spatial figures as an effort to improve the understanding of elementary school students. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects in this study were elementary school students. Data Collection Techniques used by researchers are Literature Review and Supporting Documents. The results show that the use of concrete object media in mathematics learning has proven effective in improving understanding of the concept of volume of spatial figures and encouraging active student participation in the learning process. Students become more motivated, dare to ask questions, and are able to understand abstract concepts gradually through direct experience and teacher guidance.

Abstract

Basic school science learning requires a variety of learning resources and relevant teaching materials to improve students' understanding and interest. This study aims to analyze the use of learning sources and teaching materials in science lessons at SDN 106161 Laut Dendang. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, through questionnaires and interviews with 23 students and teachers. The results show that diverse sources and hands-on activities enhance students’ understanding and motivation. In conclusion, developing contextual materials and providing teacher training are crucial for more effective and meaningful science learning.
