Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the Teams Game Tournament (TGT) and Genius Learning models in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in the digital era. Two groups of students were tested with the TGT model, and two others were tested with the Genius Learning model. The instruments used included comprehension tests, observations, and questionnaires about learning motivation. Data were analyzed using statistical tests. The research results show that both learning models improve students' understanding of Islam. The TGT model is more effective in enhancing cognitive and collaborative aspects, while Genius Learning is better at creating enjoyable learning experiences and improving the retention of PAI material. The statistical test results showed a significant difference between the two models (p < 0.05). Integrating technology in both models makes learning more relevant to the student's environment.In conclusion, both learning models can enhance students' understanding of Islam in the digital era. The TGT model excels in cognitive and collaborative aspects, while Genius Learning is more effective in enhancing material retention. Combining collaborative approaches and enjoyable learning experiences can overcome learning difficulties in the digital era.

Abstract

Keluarga merupakan madrasah pertama bagi anak serta orangtua mempunyai kewajiban untuk mendidik, mengasuh serta membimbing anak berdasarkan ajaran agamanya. Saat ini anak-anak hidup di tengah lingkungan yang dipengaruhi oleh budaya global, termasuk media sosial dan akses informasi yang luas. Pengaruh ini dapat bertentangan dengan nilai-nilai taqwa yang ingin ditanamkan oleh orang tua. Artikel ini mengkaji peran orang tua dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai taqwa kepada anak sejak masa penyapihan hingga akil baligh ditengah tantangan zaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitiif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi literatur terkait parenting dalam Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran aktif orang tua dalam membentuk karakter taqwa pada anak melalui pendekatan pendidikan Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman dan penerapan nilai-nilai agama yang konsisten dari orang tua dapat membentuk fondasi taqwa yang kuat pada anak, seperti melalui keteladanan, pembiasaan ibadah, dan pengendalian diri. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi panduan bagi orang tua dalam menanamkan nilai taqwa sejak dini, sebagai bekal bagi anak dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dynamics of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) in responding to the global flow of information that affects the understanding and character of Muslim youth. The globalization of information has significantly changed how adolescents access religious knowledge, presenting challenges in internalizing moderate Islamic values. This research adopts a qualitative approach using library research methods. Data were collected from primary and secondary literature sources such as scientific journals, books, and official documents related to globalization and Islamic education. The analysis was conducted through a critical review of these sources to identify themes, patterns, and strategies relevant to Islamic education.The findings reveal that Muslim adolescents' religious understanding is highly influenced by digital content, especially through social medi a. The role of IRE teachers is crucial in guiding students to critically evaluate religious information and fostering reflective awareness of Islamic teachings. Effective strategies identified include the integration of local and global values, the use of educational technology, and the development of an adaptive and responsive curriculum. Islamic Religious Education must continuously innovate to produce a generation of Muslims who are critical thinkers, tolerant, and competitive in a globalized era.
