Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui, apakah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar sosiologi siswa kelas X IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Sinjai Utara Kabupaten Sinjai. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut maka peneliti menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui, observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian diolah dengan menggunakan analisis kuantitatif.Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Pelaksanaan tindakan dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus, masing-masing siklus melalui 4 tahap yaitu, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Sinjai Utara Kabupaten Sinjai sebanyak 37 siswa yang terdiri dari 17 laki-laki dan 20 perempuan, tahun ajaran 2017/2018 semester genap pada mata pelajaran sosiologi pokok bahasan ragam gejala sosial.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  : Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada Pra Tindakan adalah 57,54 sedangkan nilai presentase ketuntasan hanya 21,7 %. Pada siklus I nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa menjadi 76,65 sedangkan Nilai presentase ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I adalah 62,1 %, namun setelah dilakukan perbaikan pada siklus II diperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil belajar 86,46 sedangkan nilai presentase ketuntasan hasil belajar sudah mencapai 91,9 %, sesuai dengan kriteria ketuntasan hasil belajar sosiologi yang ditetapkan di SMA Negeri 1 Sinjai Utara yaitu 75 secara individu dan 85 % secara klasikal dari jumlah keseluruhan siswa. Jadi penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray pada mata pelajaran sosiologi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Sinjai Utara Kabupaten Sinjai. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka, hipotesis tindakan pada penelitian ini diterima. Yaitu, “Jika model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray diterapkan dalam mata pelajaran sosiologi semester II, maka hasil belajar siswa Kelas X IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Sinjai Utara Kabupaten Sinjai akan meningkat”.

Abstract

The tradition of mutual cooperation is an integral part of Indonesian culture that has developed over the centuries and plays an important role in building social solidarity in various communities. This research aims to explore the essence of mutual cooperation as Indonesia's cultural heritage and its relevance in contemporary social life. This study discusses the history and evolution of mutual cooperation in Indonesia, its implementation in people's lives, and its role in overcoming social conflicts and disasters. In addition, the study also identifies the challenges faced in preserving this tradition and revitalization efforts to strengthen social solidarity. The results of the study show that although the challenges of modernization and individualism threaten the sustainability of mutual cooperation, these values of togetherness are still relevant as a foundation for the development of an inclusive and cohesive society in Indonesia.

Abstract

Social media has become an important part of the daily life of modern society, especially among teenagers. This study aims to analyze social networks in modern society with a case study on the use of Instagram social media among adolescents. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach while the data collection technique is through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the use of Instagram by teenagers can affect social networks. Teens tend to choose friends with similar interests and follow accounts that are relevant to their interests. However, the use of Instagram can also expand teens' social networks by allowing them to connect with people from different backgrounds. The results of our research show that Instagram has become a significant platform for sociology students to build and expand social networks. Through features such as following, liking, and commenting on posts, sociology students can connect with fellow students, lecturers, and professionals in the field of sociology. In analyzing the data collected, we found that the use of Instagram by sociology students made it possible to expand the social network widely. Sociology students connect with people who share similar interests and interests in sociology, both on campus and off-campus.

Abstract

Peran orang tua dalam konteks pendidikan merupakan faktor fundamental yang memengaruhi kualitas capaian akademik peserta didik. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 2 Kota Bima mengeksplorasi kontribusi signifikan orangtua terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Sosiologi kelas X IPS melalui pendekatan studi korelasional. Metodologi penelitian melibatkan populasi sebanyak 135 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Instrumen penelitian yang diaplikasikan mencakup kuesioner dan tes tertulis, dengan analisis data menggunakan metode statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Proses pengolahan data dilakukan dengan bantuan software Ms. Excel Versi 2007 dan SPSS Versi 24.Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan empat aspek krusial dalam kontribusi orangtua. Pertama, aspek pemberian motivasi menunjukkan kategori baik dengan persentase 85%, mengindikasikan peran strategis orangtua dalam mendorong semangat belajar. Kedua, aspek bimbingan belajar mencapai kategori baik dengan persentase 84%, menggambarkan kepedulian orangtua dalam mendampingi proses pembelajaran. Aspek ketiga terkait penyediaan fasilitas belajar menempati kategori baik dengan persentase 85%, menunjukkan dukungan instrumental orangtua. Terakhir, analisis korelasional menghasilkan koefisien korelasi 0,894, yang mengkategorikan pengaruh orangtua sebagai sangat kuat dalam meningkatkan capaian akademik siswa. Kesimpulan fundamental dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa orangtua tidak sekadar menyediakan infrastruktur belajar, melainkan berperan aktif dalam memotivasi, membimbing, dan menciptakan ekosistem pendidikan yang kondusif bagi pengembangan potensi akademik peserta didik.

Abstract

The activity of providing gender education socialization to students of the Hidayatussibyan NW Sengkerang Islamic Boarding School Foundation is a form of community service implementation targeting students of the Hidayatussibyan NW Sengkerang Islamic Boarding School. Community service in the form of socialization is intended to provide knowledge and awareness building about gender issues such as awareness of gender equality and gender violence. This socialization is expected to raise students' awareness of gender concepts and stereotypes that are developing in society. Based on the results of the community service team's analysis, there are still many students who consider the gender inequality they see in everyday life to be something normal and are not critical of it. The internalization of the values they have received since childhood in their families and the surrounding environment, especially about gender inequality, they consider it commonplace and accept it for granted. This community service is carried out using a direct socialization method and added Focus Group Discussion to find the core of the existing problem. The results of the community service activities are measured through several questions in the form of pre-tests and post-tests, the results of which show an increase and awareness that is starting to build from regarding the students' concept of gender, gender equality, and gender violence.

Abstract

The conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use that occurs in Tamangapa Village, Makassar City, can have a significant impact on the social life of farmers. When agricultural land that was previously used for food production or other agricultural activities is transformed into land for housing, industry, or infrastructure, farmers will experience major changes in their lives, both in the context of social interactions among farmers and with the broader community. This research is classified as qualitative research that employs observation, interviews, and documentation techniques for data collection. The research findings indicate that the social life of farmers in Tamangapa Village has changed, particularly regarding social interactions among farmers, following the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use. The existing farmer groups continue to collaborate to find ways to ensure that agricultural activities can still be optimally conducted by utilizing the available agricultural land. In contrast, the interactions among the community as agricultural laborers have become strained. This is due to the fact that the community, as agricultural laborers, has lost their jobs, or in other words, the services of agricultural laborers are no longer required because of the availability of technology or machinery used by landowners or cultivators to harvest their agricultural products.
