Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the application of the home room technique in improving the learning discipline of PGRI Banyuwangi Middle School students. This research uses a quantitative method, equivalent control group design. This research sample used purposive sampling. The sample selection obtained was 12 students from a total of 40 students who were included in the low learning discipline category. Research results (Hernia, 2023) if tcount > t table, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that the significance obtained is smaller than 0.05, because of the sig testing method. (2-tailed) < 0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Which means 0.000 < 0.05, thus Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, where Ha reads "Home Room Engineering group guidance is effective in improving learning discipline at PGRI Banyuwangi Middle School." accepted.

Abstract

Sri Wahyuni, 2020; Application of Behavioral Contract Techniques to Improve Disciplinary Behavior of Class VII Students at Hidayatun Najah Middle School Kalipuro Banyuwangi; 134 pages; Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, PGRI Banyuwangi University, Supervisor (1) Siti Na separate, M.Psi, Psychologist. (2) Fajar Wahyu Prasetyo, M.Pd. Contract behavior techniques are one of the behavioral counselling techniques used to remove maladaptive behaviors and form new adaptive behaviours. Contracts are interventions by schools to change student behaviour and monitor using simple agreements. Contract behavior behaviors are chosen because in the contract behavioral techniques individuals are trained to create new behaviours or reduce negative behaviour by giving rewards when the desired behavioure is realized so that such behavioures become consistent. The phenomenon that is encountered in Hidayatun Najah High School is often found students who violate the rules in school because of their interest in learning. Students who are often in trouble, for example, students who do not have time to start learning, do not use the attributes of the school, skip the time the learning is going on, does not obey the school order. The research method uses this method because in the design of the exsperimental design method, the non-equivalent control group design pattern contains control groups and experimental groups. The sample was 12 students who were divided into two groups, an experimental group and a control group. The research population of all high school students Hidayaun Najah 32 students and by calculating the results using the output analysis test SPSS version 22.0 for windows. The study was conducted using the treatment technique behavior contract that was performed as many as 8 meetings with a duration of 30-40 minutes based on the results of the test sig. ( 2-tailed) is 0,000 < 0.05. After conducting the disciplinary treatment the students gave the experimental group 67.6% including the category quite effective while the control group 36.2% included the category less effective thus Ho was rejected and Ha received the voiced "Guidance Group Technical Behaviour Contract Really Effective in Improving High School Discipline Hidayatun Najah". Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of mind mapping technique with cognitive approach in classical guidance to improve the career maturity of students of class X SMKS Taruna Mandiri Srono. This research used quasi-experiment with non-equivalent control group deisgn, the two groups, both pre-test and post-test.The sample of this research used saturated sampling technique. The sample amounted to 29 students out of 29 total. The data collection techniques used were observation career maturity questionnaires, and interviews. Researchers used data analysis techniques with statictical program for social sciences (SPSS) 25 for windows. the results showed that mind mapping techniques with cognitive approaches in classical guidance proved effective for increasing the career maturity of class X students of SMKS Taruna Mandiri Srono.

Abstract

Learning motivation is an individual's drive or desire to do something to achieve a goal or ideal. Often students feel that studying is a boring activity, especially in mathematics subjects, quite a few students feel that mathematics is difficult and scary. So researchers provide a solution for treating cognitive learning theory assisted by mathematics TTS media as a tool for researchers to increase students' learning motivation. The method used in this research is primary data from questionnaire results and research design using a quasi-experimental design using an experimental group and a control group. The sample in this study used fourth grade students at SD Negeri 1 Bangsring. The normality test uses Kolmogorov-Smirnov with the significance value α = 0.05 and the results for the experimental group are 0.200 and the control group is 0.200, which means both groups have a normal distribution. In the data analysis of the hypothesis results with the provision of a sig value. < 0.05. Known sig value. (0.003) < 0.05 and tcount 3.419 > ttable 2.093, it can be concluded that there is effectiveness of cognitive learning theory assisted by mathematics TTS to increase the learning motivation of class IV students at SDN 1 Bangsring, which means the Ha hypothesis is accepted. accepted

Abstract

Bullying behavior which is violent behavior in peers to a child who is inferior and weaker than himself to gain advantage or satisfaction, several types of bullying, namely: (1) physical bullying, (2) social bullying (3) verbal bullying, (4) cyber bullying the phenomenon of bullying that occurs, the researcher provides a solution by providing a cinema therapy treatment in group counseling. The research uses quantitative methods using the One group Pre-test-Posttest design, design because the research does not use a control group, the subject will be given treatment with two measurements. Before the provision of group counseling and after group counseling from the results of the analysis on the normality test shows that the population data taken is normally distributed. It can be seen that the shapiro wilk significance value for the pre-test is 0.240 the value is above α 0.05 and for the post-test is 0.244 the value is above α 0.05. This shows that the bullying variables at the time of the pre-test and post-test are normally distributed. in the data analysis on the results of hypothesis testing used with the Paired Samples Statistic method, based on the results of descriptive analysis, the mean value of the pret-test was 63.625 and in the posttest 47.000. This means that there is a decrease in the value of bullying behavior which is initially high to decrease after getting treatment in the form of group counseling with cinema therapy techniques.

Abstract

Toilet training is a fundamental adaptive skill that supports independence in autistic children. However, its implementation in special education settings is often hindered by limited visual media, functional guidance, and structured assistance procedures. This study aimed to develop and examine the feasibility and preliminary effectiveness of the PEACH model, which integrates the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Affective Communication Training (AFFACT), and Treatment and Education of Autistic and Related Communication-Handicapped Children (TEACCH), to improve toilet training skills among autistic elementary school students at SLB Negeri Banyuwangi. This study employed a 4D research and development design involving needs analysis, product design, expert validation, limited trials, and field testing. Three autistic students participated in a one-group pretest-posttest field test. Data were collected using validation sheets, observation checklists, interviews, and documentation. The feasibility scores for the PEACH material, media, and practitioner assessments were 85.50%, 94.00%, and 92.50%, respectively, indicating that the product was highly feasible. The mean toilet training score increased from 22.67 to 38.67, with an N-Gain score of 0.63 in the moderate category and a significant paired-sample t-test result (p = 0.001). These findings indicate that the PEACH model is feasible and preliminarily effective in supporting toilet training independence among autistic children.
