Abstract

Managerial decision-making, a cornerstone of organizational success, often relies on logical reasoning to address complex scenarios and develop effective strategies, forming the basis of this research. While logical reasoning has been widely recognized, the integration of mathematical logic as a foundational tool for enhancing decision-making effectiveness has remained underexplored. This study investigates how understanding mathematical logic, particularly propositional and predicate logic, impacts managerial capabilities in analyzing problems, formulating strategies, and implementing decisions. To achieve this, the study employs a quantitative approach, utilizing a survey distributed to 150 managers across diverse industries, with data analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to identify relationships between variables. The findings demonstrate the practical applications of mathematical logic, including its utility in strategic planning for technology firms, operational optimization in manufacturing, and improving decision-making frameworks in healthcare. These insights lead to the understanding that mathematical logic is a valuable tool for strengthening managerial decision-making processes, offering significant theoretical and practical contributions to organizational practices.

Abstract

The integration of Information Technology (IT) has significantly transformed modern education, particularly classroom dynamics, by enhancing accessibility to information and enabling personalized learning experiences. This paper aims to explore both the positive impacts and challenges of IT adoption in the classroom, focusing on the importance of Computer Science in shaping effective teaching practices. The study analyzes tools like Learning Management Systems (LMS), simulation software, and data analysis platforms, which improve engagement between students and teachers but also highlight challenges such as the digital divide and less interactive learning. Understanding fundamental Computer Science concepts, including algorithms, programming, and networking, is key to developing innovative solutions that enhance classroom learning. The results show that while IT has revolutionized education by facilitating online learning and collaboration, it also presents challenges that must be addressed, such as access to resources and the need for more interactive learning experiences. To optimize IT’s impact, the paper recommends continuous teacher training, better integration of technology with curricula, and improved access to devices and internet connectivity, ensuring a more inclusive and innovative learning environment in the digital age.

Abstract

Beef is an important foodstuff that affects consumer satisfaction and market value in the meat industry. The purpose of this research is to develop a model to classify beef quality using the transfer learning method. The data collection method is carried out through taking pictures of beef, which are then labeled based on their quality. Classification uses a transfer learning architecture that can improve the performance of the machine learning model generated for the classification of fresh and rotten meat. The model was tested by looking at accuracy, precision, recall, and f1-score. The results showed an accuracy of 61%, precision of 60.78%, recall of 61%, and an f1-score of 60.89%, which was achieved with a learning rate of 0.1, 10 epoch, and batch size of 8. Conclusion, the model developed with the transfer learning algorithm MobileNetV2 was able to classify the quality of beef with a good level of accuracy. The prototype of the developed system can provide real-time predictions, help consumers choose quality meat, and increase market value. Next, it is recommended to increase accuracy and develop models by increasing the size of the dataset and exploring other, more complex architectures.

Abstract

Insurance is a financial protection contract between a customer and an insurance company which is stated in the form of an insurance policy. Prediction of insurance claim reserve funds is necessary because the claim amount varies and the claim time can be the same. If at any time there is a claim that is so large that it exceeds the available claim reserve fund plus the claim occurs at the same time, it can cause the company to fail to pay the claim. This will certainly make the company's conduct decline, customer trust will be lost, and can cause the company to go bankrupt. The problem can be solved if the insurance company has sufficient claim fund reserves. Claim fund reserves are an important issue in insurance companies. This study aims to predict the claim fund reserves in insurance companies to anticipate varying claim amounts. Historical analysis of the value of claims with the ARIMA model approach is used to predict future claim values. We use claim value data that has been scaled in millions. 2020 to 2022 as training data and 2023 as test data. The Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) metric obtained is IDR 25,780.71; Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD) of IDR 14,421.89, and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of IDR 5,967.27; while the total actual claim value in 2023 is IDR 161,700.51 and the total predicted claim value is IDR 166,227.36; which means that an accuracy of 97% is obtained. The result of claim prediction value in one periodic year can give a favor to the management to make a decision, how much the claim funds should be prepared.

Abstract

Dokumen adalah surat tercetak atau tertulis yang digunakan sebagai alat bukti. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi, saat ini dokumen juga diterbitkan dalam bentuk digital tidak hanya dalam bentuk fisik atau cetak. Dokumen digital memiliki fungsi yang sama dengan dokumen fisik, namun memiliki kelemahan yaitu sangat rentan terhadap kemungkinan dimodifikasi, dipindahtangankan oleh siapapun dan sulitnya pembuktikan keaslian dokumen. Salah satu cara untuk mencegahnya adalah dengan membuat tanda khusus untuk memastikan bahwa dokumen tersebut asli. Tanda khusus ini adalah tanda tangan digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan fungsi hash SHA-512 yang diulang sebanyak sepuluh kali dan disertai dengan salt agar tidak mudah untuk dimodifikasi oleh orang lain. Enkripsi kunci publik yang digunakan adalah algoritme RSA.  Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem tanda tangan digital menggunakan algoritme RSA dan SHA-512 dengan salt lebih dapat mengamankan dokumen penting dari perubahan oleh orang yang tidak bertanggung jawab. Jangka waktu pembuatan tanda tangan digital tidak terlalu lama. Ukuran file sebesar 5 megabyte hanya membutuhkan waktu sekitar 0,07 detik.

Abstract

Prediksi kinerja akademik mahasiswa menjadi topik penting dalam pendidikan tinggi karena dapat membantu institusi mengidentifikasi mahasiswa yang berisiko mengalami penurunan prestasi dan merancang intervensi yang tepat. Berbagai penelitian telah memanfaatkan teknik data mining untuk tujuan ini, namun sejauh ini belum ada pemetaan komprehensif mengenai tren, metode, dan efektivitas pendekatan yang digunakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan panduan Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guna mengkaji penerapan data mining dalam prediksi kinerja akademik mahasiswa. Pencarian literatur dilakukan pada basis data Scopus, IEEE Xplore, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, dan Google Scholar dengan kriteria publikasi tahun 2016–2025. Dari 527 artikel awal, proses seleksi menghasilkan 24 artikel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa algoritma seperti Decision Tree, Support Vector Machine, Artificial Neural Network, dan Graph Convolutional Networks digunakan secara luas dengan tingkat akurasi bervariasi. Faktor penentu performa model meliputi kualitas dataset, teknik feature selection, dan metode evaluasi. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa meskipun akurasi model terus meningkat, interpretabilitas hasil dan generalisasi model masih menjadi tantangan. Temuan ini memberikan landasan bagi pengembangan metode prediksi yang lebih efektif dan adaptif di masa depan.

Abstract

Kemampuan membuat website sangat dibutuhkan di industri teknologi untuk profesi front-end, back-end, ataupun full-stack developer. Kemampuan membuat website sebagian mahasiswa Fakultas Teknologi Informasi Bangka Belitung masih kurang baik karena materi yang diajarkan di kelas biasanya hanya berfokus kepada konsep dasar tanpa praktik langsung dalam proyek nyata yang lebih kompleks. Tim Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat akan menyelenggarakan pelatihan membuat website yang memanfaatkan sistem manajemen konten WordPress sebagai alat dalam membuat dan mengelola website agar pengembang tidak perlu memulai dari nol dan memiliki kemampuan pemrograman yang mumpuni. Selain itu, diajarkan juga cara membuat plugin untuk operasi tambah, baca, ubah, dan hapus data serta cara meng-hosting project web di penyedia layanan domain dan hosting gratis. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pelatihan telah berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan peserta dalam membuat situs web, dengan rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan sebesar 9,73%.

Abstract

Computer skills have become one of the basic requirements for young people in facing the challenges of the digital age. Young people in Kace Timur Village still have limitations in operating computer devices, especially in word processing and presentation preparation. This community service activity aims to provide computer training to 56 young people in Kace Timur Village, which was held at the Kace Timur Village Office. The implementation method uses a hands-on training approach guided by the implementation team. The results of the activity show an increase in participants' understanding of the basics of document processing with Microsoft Word and the ability to create presentations with Microsoft PowerPoint. This training is expected to improve the competence of the village youth in supporting educational, organizational, and digital-based entrepreneurial activities.
