Abstract

This research focuses on sarcasm and the communication style of the celebrity influencer Bunda Corla. The aim of this study is to understand the sarcasm expressed by Bunda Corla on Instagram and the communication style used during live streaming. This research employs a descriptive qualitative research method, which is used to obtain information related to the object under study. Data collection techniques include observation, listening, and documentation. Data is analyzed by collecting, reducing, and drawing conclusions from the data. The results show that the sarcasm frequently expressed by Bunda Corla on the Instagram social media platform includes the words bandit, dog, and bastard. The communication style used by Bunda Corla on Instagram during live broadcasts is categorized into two styles: the controlling style, characterized by the intention or desire to persuade, control, and influence others, and the withdrawal style, characterized by communication that is inappropriate.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategic position of the Zakat Institution in Palopo City in response to internal and external dynamics using the SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis approach. A mixed-methods strategy—combining quantitative and qualitative techniques—was applied, with data collected through questionnaires and interviews. The collected data were processed using a weighted score summation method to evaluate the organization's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, thereby determining its strategic positioning within the SWOT matrix. The results indicate that the Zakat Institution of Palopo City occupies an aggressive strategy position, suggesting the organization holds strong internal capabilities and substantial external opportunities for growth. This strategic placement reflects the institution's potential to expand its reach and enhance the effectiveness of both zakat collection and distribution. The findings of this study provide a strategic direction for the institution to foster innovation, particularly through the adoption of digital technologies and the strengthening of zakat-based economic empowerment programs, in order to promote sustainable community welfare.

Abstract

Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Universitas Islam Negeri Palopo di Desa Lera, Kecamatan Wotu, Kabupaten Luwu Timur dilaksanakan dengan tujuan memperkuat pendidikan karakter dan literasi sebagai bagian dari upaya mendukung terwujudnya Generasi Emas Indonesia 2045. Program ini menerapkan pendekatan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) yang berfokus pada pemanfaatan potensi, aset lokal, dan partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam proses pemberdayaan. Melalui tahapan discovery, dream, design, define, dan destiny, mahasiswa bersama masyarakat berhasil mengembangkan berbagai program strategis, seperti pemberdayaan perpustakaan desa, talkshow edukasi mengenai komunikasi efektif orang tua–anak di era digital, sosialisasi anti-bullying di sekolah, serta pembuatan buku cerita anak lokal, modul ajar, dan media pembelajaran tematik berbasis budaya. Selain kegiatan inti, mahasiswa juga terlibat dalam aktivitas sosial dan keagamaan, seperti gotong royong, pengajian, dan pembinaan TPA. Pelaksanaan program menunjukkan adanya peningkatan minat baca, kesadaran literasi, penguatan nilai karakter, serta terbentuknya kolaborasi positif antara mahasiswa, guru, dan masyarakat. Secara keseluruhan, metode ABCD terbukti efektif dalam mendorong pembangunan pendidikan berbasis potensi lokal serta menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang partisipatif, kreatif, dan berkelanjutan.
