Abstract

Abstract

The empowerment of Zero Waste Maritime Village Caring for the Marine Environment Based on Creative Economy was organized by the PPK Ormawa HMG Team, Lambung Mangkurat University, through socialization and education methods, training, and mentoring to the people of Wirittasi Village. With this program, the community can realize the potential of waste in Wirittasi Village. The activity results show that the district already has knowledge and skills in managing waste in Wirittasi Village through waste sorting activities and the 3R Movement. If continued, this program will improve the economic opinion of the community through waste management activities by the community. To maintain the program's sustainability, it is necessary to implement further programs, and the participation of village and local governments as facilitators for this community empowerment activity is needed.

Abstract

The development of digital da'wah demands a more in-depth, comprehensive, and data-driven methodological approach. However, contemporary da'wah research is still dominated by descriptive analysis that stops at mapping surface phenomena without exploring the underlying causal factors that determine the long-term effectiveness of da'wah. This weakness is increasingly apparent in the use of SWOT analysis, which has been widely applied in da'wah studies, but tends to be limited to producing categorization tables without an operational epistemic basis. Meanwhile, the era of digital da'wah presents a new, complex reality, where da'wah success is influenced not only by surface interactions such as the number of viewers, impressions, or follower growth, but also by latent factors such as audience cognitive motivation, platform algorithms, digital cultural context, identity construction, and societal value systems. This study aims to formulate a new methodological model through the integration of SWOT and the Iceberg approach to address this methodological stagnation. The research was conducted using qualitative methods based on literature analysis, comparative studies of strategic analysis models, and the construction of a conceptual model. The results show that the SWOT-Iceberg integration is able to produce a more multidimensional framework for digital da'wah analysis: SWOT diagnoses surface symptoms, while Iceberg explores patterns, causal structures, and mental models that shape phenomena. This combined model enables the development of more accurate, adaptive, and evidence-based da'wah strategies. It is concluded that the SWOT–Iceberg integration significantly contributes to the development of modern da'wah methodology by encouraging a shift from descriptive research to transformative diagnostic analysis, while simultaneously strengthening the scientific character of da'wah as an academic discipline based on a critical and measurable knowledge system.

Abstract

Waste is a major problem in developing countries, one of which is Indonesia. The existing waste will continue to increase every day and can pollute the environment. To reduce waste in Indonesia, efforts are needed to manage existing waste into new goods that have good selling value. One type of waste that can be recycled and has business value is used bitil. Students have an obligation to carry out community service. One of the services that students can do is by providing education on waste management into useful items that have selling value. This student dedication regarding waste which can become a business idea can be applied to high school students. At high school age, knowledge and ideas are needed to run a business. Students can be trained by conducting counseling. From this background, the author carried out a service entitled efforts to recycle used bottles as a business idea with the aim of knowing the process of recycling used bottles and the benefits of recycling used bottles. The method used is licensing, observation, program socialization, writing and training evaluation. The education was carried out with several activities, namely mapping sources of used bottles, collecting used bottles, separating used bottles, washing used bottles, cutting used bottles, washing, recycling processes and looking at business potential. This service was carried out at SMAN 1 PETIR. The results obtained are divided into three stages. In the first stage, students successfully carried out counseling in the form of choosing organic and non-organic waste. In the second stage, students are able to educate students about the importance of maintaining cleanliness and finally, students are able to teach students about business opportunities that can be made from recycled plastic bottle waste.
