Abstract

The Raskin program is a program from the government to reduce the burden of spending on the Indonesian people. With existing technological facilities, distribution problems for the Raskin program can be reduced. Rice distribution is an activity that is often carried out around the community. However, rice distribution often takes a very long time and causes long and inefficient queues. To overcome this, an Arduino-based Rice ATM was created to facilitate the distribution of rice using an Arduino microcontroller, photoelectric sensor, loadcell, Rfid, and rice distribution servo motor. can identify objects that have been marked with a unique identifier code. Based on this, this study discusses the rice ATM system using an Arduino-based e-ID card. The results of the testing and implementation of this system are that when the RFID card is tapped, then the ID and balance are checked on the oled lcd, if appropriate, the servo motor will open and remove the rice and if the RFID tag used is not appropriate and the balance provided has run out, the servo motor will not work. open. Distance and position of RFID reading after 1 test. Picking up rice at this ATM is only done 1 time 1 day in 1 card, if you want to take more than 1 time the e-KTP must be reset, the quantity issued by this rice atm system is 1 kg. From these problems, an ATM Rice tool was produced using a weight sensor or loadcell. From the results of testing this tool works well and is able to overcome the problems that have been experienced by the community

Abstract

The world was shocked by the outbreak of a new virus that originated in the city of Wuhan, Hubei province in China and has spread to all corners of the world. This virus is Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19). The government as a policy maker has imposed new regulations so that everyone can leave the house and do work without having to worry about being exposed to the Covid-19 virus. One of the regulations made by the government is that everyone who will leave the house must wear a mask. However, the use of masks for a long time has the potential to cause headaches to increase respiratory tract resistance caused by carbon dioxide. It is necessary to have a mask that can filter the air properly so that carbon dioxide can come out of the mask directly and not be inhaled again. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to make a tool that can make air or carbon dioxide out of the mask. With existing technological facilities, the problem of breathing in carbon dioxide in masks can be minimized. One example is the MG811 sensor technology where this technology can detect the presence of carbon dioxide in the mask that comes out of human breathing. Based on this, this study discusses the automatic air filter system on an Arduino-based mask. The result of testing and implementing this system is that when the sensor detects excess carbon dioxide in the mask, then the supporting component of the system, namely the fan, will work to remove carbon dioxide in the mask.

Abstract

Broiler chicken is one type of poultry that is a contributor to animal protein for the community. One of the keyfactors in the health of broiler chickens is cage sterilization, where sterilization is needed to kill germs that oftennest in chicken coops. However, the manual method used by workers takes a lot of time and effort, making it lessefficient. In this study, a prototype sterilization and insulation device was designed in the chicken coop to make iteasier for workers to carry out sterilization. In the design of this prototype, Arduino acts as the center forcontrolling the tool with the RTC that is connected directly as a time marker. Stepper motor as a driving tool toshift the bulkhead. There are 4 limit switches that are useful for controlling movement. The HC-05 Bluetoothmodule is used for communication between smartphones and Arduino Uno. As well as the Solenoid Valve to closeand open the flow of water to the sprayer. The tool will work after the smartphone via Bluetooth is connected tothe device, then the sterilization process will be carried out. The tracking can be done through the applicationfound on the smartphone.

Abstract

Advanced technology has many benefits for its users. One way to protect the home by utilizing home securitysystem technology. Fire and theft are major problems that must be considered in home security. Several factorsfor the occurrence of fires and theft in the house are due to the negligence of the owner of the house itself and thedelay in handling and prevention. Incidents like this can result in material losses and even fatalities. Therefore,the purpose of this research is to create a tool that can monitor security and home electrical equipment at anytime by using Arduino as a medium of information that will be sent via short SMS messages and phone calls. Thisdevice can also control home electrical appliances remotely automatically with SMS commands. The test resultsshow that this system can provide accurate information to homeowners and can monitor security and homeelectrical equipment.

Abstract

The sense of sight is a vital source of information that is very important for humans, but not a few people experience problems with their vision. Blindness is a general term used to describe the condition of a person who experiences obstacles or impairments in their visual abilities. Because the function of the sense of vision decreases, blind people maximize the function of other senses such as the sense of touch, smell, hearing, and others. However, there are also blind people who suffer from abnormalities such as the loss of the sense of hearing (deafblind) which is usually called double disability (deafblind). It can be understood that if a person has impaired vision and hearing (deafblind), then their activities are very limited, because the information obtained will be reduced compared to someone with normal vision and hearing. In general, blind people use a cane as a walker to assist movement when walking, therefore, a walker is made that can detect objects or obstacles in front using an ultrasonic sensor based on an arduino nano microcontroller, with vibration output as a warning to people with disabilities. The purpose of this tool is to make it easier for people with multiple disabilities (deafblind) to detect obstacles in front when walking. The results obtained from this tool work accordingly and stably as expected, as evidenced by the detection success rate of 99.26% and a very minimal error rate of 0.74%, and the results of the comfort of using a cane carried out by users (deafblind) reached 70,83% with comfortable criteria.

Abstract

Technological developments are increasingly advanced, one of which is multimedia technology, namely Virtual Reality. With Virtual Reality technology, it can be used as a promotional medium and also to recognize objects in 3D form. With Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality technology, it can be used as a promotional medium and also to recognize objects in 3D form. This research utilizes Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality as promotional media and also as a medium for introducing the FTK environment at Harapan University, Medan. There is minimal information on Unhar's Engineering and Computer faculty for prospective students/community members who want to know the shape of the building and the location of the campus rooms. This application program can help users to find the building and the rooms inside the building, without having to ask the security guard or students who are there. at campus locations, with this technology users can determine their destination without having to be in the campus area first. This application runs on smartphone devices with the Android operating system and has a gyroscope feature. After going through all the testing stages and getting the "Compliant" status, it can be concluded that the application is running as it should and is ready to use

Abstract

The Bidikmisi Scholarship is an education fee assistance program for prospective students who are economically disadvantaged and have good academic potential to study at university until they graduate on time. SMA Negeri 2 Moro'o West Nias Regency is one of the schools that runs the Bidikmisi scholarship program, the selection process takes three weeks to one month, with the selection process taking up to one month of course this is less efficient. Apart from that, it is feared that the resulting assessment will be subjective, where the assessment is based on personal interests, causing the scholarship to not be on target. The aim of this research is to build a decision support system to determine Bidikmisi scholarship recipients using the Microsoft Visual Basic programming language with the SMART ( Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique ) method. at SMA Negeri 2 Moro'o, West Nias Regency. The system that has been designed using the Microsoft Visual Basic programming language can provide more precise information, because it uses the SMART ( Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique ) method, so there is no longer any doubt in making a decision. It is hoped that the designed application will make it easier for SMA Negeri 2 Moro'o West Nias Regency to determine Bidikmisi scholarship acceptance
