Abstract

This study aims to determine how the implementation of the Project Based Learning model can improve students' learning activities in the subject of Islamic Cultural History. The method used in this study is qualitative with a case study approach. The subjects of the study were grade X students. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Project Based Learning model can significantly improve students' learning activities. This is indicated by the increasing involvement of students in various stages of learning, starting from project planning, group discussions, information searches, to presentations of work results. Students become more enthusiastic, actively ask questions, discuss, and are able to develop creative solutions to learning tasks. The implication of this study is the importance of the role of teachers as facilitators in creating active and meaningful learning. The implementation of the Project Based Learning model is able to create a fun learning environment and motivate students to be directly involved in the learning process. These results are expected to encourage educators to adopt a similar approach in improving the quality of learning in various other subjects.

Abstract

In an increasingly competitive business environment, employee performance effectiveness is one of the key factors determining the success of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This study aims to analyze the impact of the reward system and training on employee performance at MSME Mie Besty using a qualitative approach through interviews and observations. The findings indicate that implementing a reward system, both financial (such as salary, bonuses, and incentives) and non-financial (such as recognition, promotions, and workplace facilities), significantly enhances employee motivation and productivity. Additionally, training programs covering technical skills, customer service, and operational management contribute to improving employee competencies and work efficiency. The synergy between the reward system and training fosters a more conducive work environment, increases job satisfaction, and reduces employee turnover rates. Thus, this study emphasizes that the combination of reward strategies and training can serve as an effective solution for improving employee performance in the MSME sector. Therefore, MSMEs are encouraged to implement fair and transparent reward policies and develop continuous training programs to enhance business competitiveness and long-term sustainability.

Abstract

Leadership role in realizing a sustainable and technology-based smart city. The smart city concept emphasizes the integration of information and communication technology (ICT) to improve efficiency, quality of life and sustainability in the urban environment. This study uses a literature study method by analyzing various academic and policy sources related to the implementation of smart cities in Indonesia. The research results show that transformational leadership has a crucial role in driving the success of smart cities, especially in the aspects of sustainability and human resource development. However, smart city implementation faces various challenges, such as resistance to change, limited resources, as well as data privacy and cybersecurity issues. To overcome these obstacles, effective collaboration between government, the private sector and society is very necessary. In addition, innovative and participative leadership strategies have been proven to increase the effectiveness of smart city implementation. With the right approach, smart cities can have a positive impact on the regional economy and improve the quality of public services.

Abstract

Post-cesarean section (SC) patients with premature rupture of membranes (PROM) require comprehensive nursing care due to their high risk of pain, infection, and limited mobility. This case study aims to describe the nursing care process applied to a 39-year-old woman post-SC with PROM indication. The study was conducted over five days in Nusa Indah Room at RSUD dr. Soeselo, Tegal. Data collection included interviews, observation, physical examination, and medical record review. The nursing interventions were guided by the Indonesian Nursing Diagnosis Standards (SDKI), Interventions (SIKI), and Outcomes (SLKI). Results showed a reduction in pain scale from 6 to 2, improved mobility, and wound healing without signs of infection or bleeding. These findings indicate that structured and holistic nursing care, combined with patient education and family involvement, can significantly enhance recovery outcomes. The implications suggest the need for clinical protocols in managing post-SC patients with PROM to ensure consistent, evidence-based nursing practice.
