Abstract

One uniqueness that can be identified as a historical heritage in Indonesia is Batik. Almost every region in Indonesia has its characteristics, including motifs, color patterns, and philosophical meanings. In Jambi, Batik is always worn on formal occasions and has even become the community's uniform at various events. On the other hand, in terms of sales, MSMEs must maintain their brand quality and compete competitively in the market. Therefore, this study investigates consumers' brand image, attitude, and intention to buy Batik and the decision of consumer behavior to buy Batik as an implementation of the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA). One hundred eighty-eight participants from Jambi province participated in filling out this online questionnaire. Then, the data that has been collected is tested using PLS-SEM. The results showed that all elements of TRA had a positive effect on the buying behavior of Batik in Jambi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menginvestigasi dampak COVID-19 pada keberlanjutan bisnis UMKM, dengan mengukur strategi keuangan dan ketahanan keuangan yang dimiliki oleh UMKM. Survei dilaksanakan dengan metode online melalui pengisian google form, dan terdapat 148 responden untuk diuji dalam penelitian ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi keuangan berpengaruh positif terhadap ketahanan keuangan, dan lebih lanjut, ketahanan keuangan pada inovasi bisnis. Disisi lain, strategi keuangan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap inovasi bisnis. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah dibutuhkan ketahanan keuangan pada UMKM, untuk terus meningkatkan inovasi bisnis keberlanjutan.Kata kunci: Strategi Keuangan, Ketahanan Keuangan, Inovasi Bisnis, UMKM.

Abstract

Employees become an important asset for every company. Similarly, Asian Agri considers employees important considering the large number of employees it has. The company's success is supported by good employee performance. Many ways can be done to improve employee performance, such as increasing salaries, providing benefits, and also supporting work facilities. This study aims to determine the effect of salary, benefits, and work facilities on the performance of Jambi Asian Agri Regional employees. The research method used was quantitative and all employees were made into a population of 57 people with a sample of 50 respondents. Data collection using questionnaires and data analysis methods using classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and determination coefficient testing. The conclusion of the results of this study is that salary negatively affects employee performance, while benefits and work facilities have a positive effect on employee performance. All results of the description of employee performance variable (Y) statement items are in the high category, which means that the average respondent's answer to the statement item is on a scale of 3.41 – 4.20. This shows that the statement items of this research can help assess employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of service quality, price, and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty at Champion Motor Mayang branch, Jambi city with 168 respondents. Sample collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires with the Accidental sampling technique to 168 customers of the Mayang branch of the Champion Motor who were deemed suitable as a data source. This research is descriptive research with quantitative methods. This study uses Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis tools. The entire analysis was calculated using the smart PLS version 4 program. The result of the study indicates that service quality has a significant effect on customer satisfaction, price has a significant effect on customer satisfaction, customer satisfaction has a significant effect on customer loyalty, service quality has a significant effect on customer loyalty, price has a significant effect on customer loyalty.

Abstract

Abstrak Digital Pengabdian ini berfokus pada memberikan pelatihan kepada Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) yang bergerak di bidang tusuk gigi dengan menggunakan teknologi dan media sosial untuk memperkuat upaya promosi produk. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Tujuannya adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman UMKM mengenai strategi pemasaran melalui teknologi dan media sosial, sehingga mereka dapat memanfaatkannya untuk mempromosikan produk mereka. Melalui diskusi kelompok, pelaku usaha diberikan wawasan tentang cara menggunakan platform digital dan media sosial secara efektif, memahami perilaku konsumen, dan mengembangkan strategi promosi yang tepat. Diharapkan pelatihan ini akan membantu UMKM dalam mengembangkan usaha mereka melalui pemanfaatan teknologi dan media sosial sebagai alat pemasaran yang lebih modern dan efisien.Dalam kegiatan PKM ini akan berfokus pada sosialisasi mengenai aplikasi penunjang dalam pemasaran produk UMKM yaitu Instagram terhadap para pelaku usaha UMKM Tusuk Gigi Aulia. Oleh karena itu, diharapkan dengan pelatihan ini dapat menambah wawasan tentan g pemasaran yang modern demi menunjang usaha UMKM yang dimiliki. Metode yang dipakai dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan dengan langkah-langkahsebagaiberikut 1) Memberikan pemahaman mengenai platform digital terhadappemasaran modern pada kelompok UMKM ,2) Pemaparan teori, berupa praktek dalam cara pembuatan akun sampai menggunakan Instagram 3) mengaplikasikan media Instagram dalam pemasaran produk UMKM, 4) Monitoring selama 1 bulan, 5) Evaluasi. Keywords: Pemasaran digital, Media social, UMKM Abstract This Digital Service focuses on providing training to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) operating in the toothpick sector by using technology and social media to strengthen product promotion efforts. The aim is to increase MSMEs' understanding of marketing strategies through technology and social media, so that they can use them to promote their products. Through group discussions, business actors are given insight into how to use digital platforms and social media effectively, understand consumer behavior, and develop appropriate promotional strategies. It is hoped that this training will help MSMEs in developing their businesses through the use of technology and social media as more modern and efficient marketing tools. In this PKM activity, the focus will be on socializing supporting applications in marketing MSME products, namely Instagram, to Aulia Toothbrush MSME business actors. . Therefore, it is hoped that this training can increase insight into modern marketing in order to support the MSME businesses they own.The method used in this activity is training with the following steps: 1) Providing an understanding of digital platforms for modern marketing in the MSME group, 2) Presentation of theory, in the form of practice in how to create an account and using Instagram, 3) Applying Instagram media in marketing MSME products, 4 ) Monitoring for 1 month, 5) Evaluation. Abstract

Deby Dkk, 2019 with the title of thesis research, namely the Effects of Capital Expenditures, Exports and Economic Growth on Poverty Levels in Jambi City (Path Analysis Approach) This study aims to: 1) To analyze the effect of Capital Expenditures and Exports on Economic Growth in Jambi City during 2001-2017. 2) To analyze the effect of Capital Expenditures, Exports and Economic Growth on Poverty Levels in Jambi City during 2001-2017. The research model used in this study is the Path Analysis model. The effect of capital expenditure and exports on economic growth in Jambi City during the period of 2001 to 2017 can be concluded that capital expenditure and exports simultaneously influence economic growth in Jambi City. Whereas if viewed partially, the two independent variables, namely capital expenditure, have a negative and significant effect on economic growth and exports have a positive and significant effect on economic growth in Jambi City. The contribution of the direct effect of capital expenditure on economic growth is large and positive in value, but when viewed the contribution of indirect influence on economic growth through exports is greater than the contribution value of direct influence, but the value is negative. Whereas ifcalculated the contribution of the total effect is small and negative for economic growth in Jambi City. The effect of capital expenditure and exports on poverty and economic growth as intervening variables in Jambi City during the period of 2001 to 2017 can be concluded that capital expenditure, exports and economic growth simultaneously have a significant effect on poverty levels in Jambi City. Meanwhile, if viewed partially, only the export variable can have a significant effect on the poverty level, while capital expenditure and economic growth as intervening variables in this analysis model cannot influence the poverty level in Jambi City. Furthermore, testing the Trimming method results in the export variables that have a significant effect on the poverty level. The contribution of the direct effect of the export variable on poverty levels is 47.6 percent

Abstract

Business development in banking sector has grown and progressively increase. Bank Jambi (PT. Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jambi) which is close to the image of "Bank PNS" is determined to become a professional bank, especially in consumptive credit services. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of repositioning on customer loyalty, analyze the effect of repositioning on brand equity, analyze the effect of brand equity on customer loyalty and analyze the effect of repositioning on customer loyalty mediated by brand equity in consumer credit services of Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jambi. The method used in this research is descriptive method through a survey approach. The sample respondents is 100 customer that using the consumptive credit services on Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jambi. The research variables are Repositioning, Customer Loyalty and Brand Equity. Data analysis was carried out with two approaches, qualitative and quantitative, with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The result of this research is Repositioning results have a significant effect on Customer Loyalty, Repositioning has a significant effect on Brand Equity, Brand Equity has a significant effect on Customer Loyalty and Repositioning has an indirect effect on Customer Loyalty through Brand Equity. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of materialsm, self-control, and motivation on family financial management behavior in the community of Ladang Panjang village, Sarolangun District, Sarolangun Regency. Amid modernization and a growing consumerist lifestyle, rural communities are also experiencing shifts in value orientation that impact household financial behavior. The research method use is a survey with descriptive qualitative approach, involving 60 purposively selected respondents. Data were collected through observation and questionnaires based on indicators of each variable. The result show that materialsm negatively affects financial management behavior, while self-control and motivation play a positive role in encouraging wise financial decisions. These three variables interact and jointly influence the quality of family financial management. The findings highlight the importance of contextual fianncial education and instilling long-term planning values within households to improve economic resilience.

Abstract

The mentoring program for novice independent workers in Pematang Kandis Village aims to increase the entrepreneurial capacity of the community through the understanding and application of the Business Model Canvas (BMC) as a simple and systematic business planning tool. This activity is motivated by the still low competitiveness and managerial capabilities of novice independent workers in developing sustainable business plans, due to limited access to training and business planning or the still low capabilities of Human Resources. Mentoring through this program can be an important instrument in developing local entrepreneurial potential by implementing activity implementation methods including socialization, training, focus group discussions, and individual assistance in preparing the BMC consisting of customer segments, value propositions, distribution channels, customer relationships, revenue streams, key resources, main activities, key partners, and cost structures. Participants also showed an increased understanding of the importance of mature and systematic business planning. This activity is expected to be the first step in creating resilient and competitive independent entrepreneurs.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the understanding of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Kumpeh Ulu District, Muaro Jambi Regency regarding basic financial recordkeeping and tax obligations, particularly the Final Income Tax (PPh Final). The lack of knowledge and skills in managing business finances often hinders MSME growth, including fulfilling tax obligations in accordance with regulations. The implementation method was carried out through face-to-face training, interactive discussions, and financial recording simulations using a simple format that can be directly applied. The results of the activity showed an 80% increase in participants’ understanding of financial recordkeeping and final tax obligations, based on pre-test and post-test assessments. This training is expected to help micro-entrepreneurs manage their finances more systematically and comply with tax regulations.
