Abstract

Currently, there are so many students who do not have the awareness to be responsible according to their age. This often happens to students who are teenagers. The low awareness of responsibility in students certainly greatly interferes with the effectiveness of their lives so that appropriate efforts are needed in this case, namely group guidance. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in awareness of responsibility as teenagers in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 10 Medan. The research method used was guidance and counseling action research (PTBK) which was carried out through 2 cycles. The research subjects used were 8 students selected using purposive sampling techniques. The results of this study were that in the pre-cycle, students were at a low awareness of responsibility with an average score of 38.6. In cycle I, there was an increase so that students' awareness of responsibility was in the low category with an average score of 61.25. After cycle II was implemented, students experienced a significant increase in awareness with an average score of 84.75. Thus, group guidance services are stated to be able to increase awareness of responsibility as teenagers in students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Morawa melalui implementasi layanan bimbingan kelompok. Fokus utama penelitian adalah mengatasi permasalahan kedisiplinan yang ditandai dengan keterlambatan datang ke sekolah dan ketidaklengkapan atribut seragam siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam tingkat kedisiplinan siswa. Pada tahap pra-tindakan, sebagian besar siswa berada dalam kategori kedisiplinan rendah dan sedang. Setelah pelaksanaan bimbingan kelompok pada Siklus I dan II, jumlah siswa dengan tingkat kedisiplinan tinggi dan cukup meningkat secara bertahap, sementara kategori rendah mengalami penurunan hingga nol. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa bimbingan kelompok mampu menumbuhkan kesadaran, rasa tanggung jawab, serta komitmen siswa dalam menaati tata tertib sekolah. Dengan demikian, layanan bimbingan kelompok terbukti menjadi strategi efektif dalam membangun budaya disiplin di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan rasa percaya diri peserta didik melalui layanan bimbingan klasikal menggunakan teknik role playing di SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Morawa. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII yang menunjukkan tanda-tanda kurang percaya diri, seperti ragu dalam berbicara, tidak berani bertanya, serta cenderung menarik diri saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Bimbingan dan Konseling (PTBK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus mencakup tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan angket yang mengukur lima aspek kepercayaan diri, yaitu keyakinan diri, optimisme, objektivitas, tanggung jawab, dan rasionalitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada seluruh aspek kepercayaan diri setelah mengikuti layanan ini. Teknik role playing terbukti mampu menciptakan ruang aman bagi siswa untuk berlatih mengekspresikan diri, menghadapi tantangan sosial, serta menumbuhkan sikap positif terhadap kemampuan dirinya. Dengan demikian, layanan ini dapat dijadikan alternatif strategi efektif dalam pelaksanaan bimbingan klasikal di sekolah.
