Abstract

This research aims to determine the religious moderation attitudes of students at Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto. Students at these universities are very heterogeneous and come from various ethnicities, religions, and races, which makes it necessary to have a moderate attitude toward student activities that are religious in nature. This type of research is field research and qualitative descriptive research where data is taken through closed interview methods via Google Form surveys and observations. The results of this research are that the researchers obtained data that there were still 4.5% (27 students) who answered that there were campus organizations affiliated with radicalism and 95.5% (550 students) who responded that there were no organizations affiliated with radicalism. The researchers distributed a total of 576 respondents. Students participated in banned organizations in Indonesia. It turned out that three students (0.5%) answered that they followed, and 573 students (99.05%) did not participate. Students' perceptions regarding the existence of suicide bombings turned out that 0.5% (3 students) answered that they agreed with the presence of suicide bombings, and 99.05% (573 students) responded that they disagreed. So, students at Jenderal Soedirman University still need to increase their national insight and religious moderation to understand better the meaning of unity and difference within the nation and state.

Abstract

In the digital age, social media has become a powerful instrument in shaping public opinion, including religious perspectives among college students. The proliferation of religious content across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook presents both opportunities and challenges for fostering religious moderation. This study aims to examine how social media influences students’ attitudes toward religious moderation, with a particular focus on core values such as justice ('adl), balance (tawazun), and tolerance (tasamuh). The research adopts a qualitative literature review method, analyzing scholarly articles, books, and official publications published within the last five years that discuss the relationship between social media, youth behavior, and religious moderation. The findings indicate that social media plays a dual role. On one hand, it serves as a platform for promoting inclusive and moderate religious messages, often through visually engaging and relatable content. On the other hand, the same platforms may also disseminate radical ideologies, hate speech, and intolerant narratives, particularly when users lack digital literacy and critical thinking skills. The study highlights the importance of equipping students with the ability to critically evaluate religious content on social media and to distinguish between authentic moderation messages and manipulative, extremist discourse. In conclusion, this study underscores the necessity of integrating religious moderation into digital literacy education within higher education institutions. Collaborative efforts between educators, religious leaders, and content creators are essential in ensuring that digital spaces are dominated by constructive and peaceful religious narratives. The role of students as digital natives and future agents of change makes their involvement in this discourse both timely and essential.

Abstract

Penulisan karya tulis ilmiah bagi guru sangatlah penting, salah satunya adalah menulis artikel ilmiah. Dengan menulis artikel ilmiah harapannya akan memudahkan dalam kenaikan pangkat bagi seorang guru. Maka dari itu perlu di adakannya penguatan penulisan artikel ilmiah bagi guru pendidikan agama Islam se Kec, Petanahan Kab. Kebumen,. Pelatihan ini dilakukan dengan metode daring Zoom Meeting pada tanggal 3 Juni 2024 dengan materi pendahuluan, kemudian tanggal 4 juni 2024 dilakukan dengan asynchronous learning dengan peserta melakukan pembelajaran mandiri dan membaca jurnal-jurnal yang berkaitan dengan agama  islam dan pada tanggal 8 Juni 2024 dilakukan tatap muka dengan praktik langsung membuat artikel ilmiah yang bertempat di gedung Kwaran Kec. Petanahan. Setelah pelatihan ini harapannya guru-guru pendidikan agama Islam se Kec. Petanahan Kab. Kebumen dapat aktif menulis artikel ilmiah dan bukan menjadikan beban

Abstract

Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah (MDTA) Raudhatul Aflah Desa Pecabean Kecamatan Pangkah Kabupaten Tegal merupakan lembaga pendidikan keagamaan (Islam) yang dikelola secara mandiri oleh kelompok masyarakat. Lembaga ini dikelola secara swadaya dengan mengandalkan partisipasi masyarakat. Meski terdapat bantuan dari pemerintah, namun belum cukup layak untuk pengelolaan lembaga secara mandiri. Kondisi ini menyebabkan pengelolaan lembaga hanya berkutat pada aktivitas (rutinitas) pembelajaran. Sementara unsur pendukung strategis lainnya, seperti persoalan pengelolaan kemandirian lembaga dan tertib administrasi, pengembangan bakat dan minat santri, hubungan masyarakat dan jejaring dengan sumber daya belajar lainnya kurang tergarap dengan baik. Metode yang diterapkan melalui langkah-langkah pengembangan sumber daya manusia, manajemen mutu lembaga dan bakat dan minat. Sasaran pengembangan ini diperuntukkan bagi tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan, orang tua dan santri. Tujuan pendekatan ini untuk berbagi pengalaman terhadap pengelolaan yang selama ini dijalankan. Fokus pendampingan pengelolaan kemandirian lembaga dan tertib administrasi, pengembangan bakat minat santri dan pola hubungan madrasah dengan orang tua santri
