Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dengan tujuan meningkatkan partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) melalui pemanfaatan media visual digital Canva pada siswa kelas IV SDN 14/I Sungai Baung. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh rendahnya tingkat keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, yang ditunjukkan oleh perilaku pasif, kurangnya keberanian untuk bertanya, serta minimnya keterlibatan dalam diskusi kelompok. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi observasi partisipatif, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Pada siklus I, partisipasi siswa meningkat dari rata-rata 45,56% menjadi 73,33%, sedangkan pada siklus II mencapai 86,90%. Indikator partisipasi yang diamati meliputi kemampuan mengemukakan pendapat, keterlibatan dalam diskusi, kerja sama dalam kelompok, dan sikap menghargai pendapat teman. Penggunaan media Canva yang dipadukan dengan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih menarik, kontekstual, dan interaktif. Canva membantu memvisualisasikan konsep abstrak, mendorong kolaborasi antar siswa, serta meningkatkan motivasi belajar. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa media Canva Metode ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran IPAS serta sejalan dengan prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka yang menekankan pembelajaran aktif dan berbasis pengalaman. Abstract

This research discusses the importance of preserving regional culture as the identity of the Indonesian nation in the midst of globalization challenges. The main focus is on a variety of traditional arts and cultures such as dance, regional music, traditional clothing, and traditional musical instruments from various regions of Indonesia. The study also highlights the efforts that have been made to preserve regional culture, such as cultural arts education in schools, participation in art competitions, and the role of family and community. This research aims to foster the awareness of the younger generation of the nation's cultural wealth and encourage the preservation of cultural heritage so that it does not become extinct in the future. Abstract

This study aims to describe teachers’ strategies in implementing deep learning approaches in mathematics learning at the elementary school level. Deep learning emphasizes conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and meaningful student engagement, which contrasts with traditional memorization-oriented learning. This research explores how teachers design learning experiences, select instructional methods, utilize media, and facilitate classroom interactions to build deeper mathematical comprehension. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation in an elementary school classroom. The results show that teachers implement several strategies such as contextual problem-based learning, the use of manipulatives, structured inquiry, reflective questioning, and collaborative discussions. These strategies encourage students to connect concepts, explore ideas actively, and construct meaning from learning experiences. The study concludes that implementing deep learning strategies supports students in developing stronger conceptual understanding and more independent thinking in mathematics learning.
