Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of the use of the problem based learning (PBL) model in data presentation material assisted by diagram board media in class V elementary school to improve student learning outcomes. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). Research instruments include documentation, observation sheets, tests and interviews. The research subjects were class V students at SDN 80/I Muara Bulian, totaling 19 students, 11 students and 8 female students. The results obtained include the pre-action stage, the average score obtained by students was 43.33, then in the post test carried out in cycle 1 there was an increase in the average score of students, namely 66.31, and in the post test carried out in cycle 2, there was another increase in the average score, namely 80. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the application of the PBL model assisted by diagram board media in improving student learning outcomes in class V elementary school has gone well and has increased

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai strategi yang digunakan oleh sekolah dalam mengembangkan kedisiplinan siswa di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) di Kota Jambi. Kedisiplinan siswa adalah aspek penting dalam pendidikan yang memengaruhi prestasi belajar dan suasana sekolah secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami strategi konkret yang diterapkan oleh sekolah-sekolah di Kota Jambi untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa mereka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sekolah-sekolah di Kota Jambi menerapkan sejumlah strategi, termasuk penerapan aturan sekolah yang jelas dan konsisten, pembinaan karakter melalui pendekatan pendidikan moral, pengawasan yang ketat terhadap perilaku siswa, serta melibatkan orangtua dan masyarakat dalam pembentukan kedisiplinan siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to produce electronic teaching materials for Mathematics learning based on Problem Based Learning on fractions for fourth grade elementary school students. This type of research is development research (Research and Development). The research includes validity sheets and practicality sheets (teacher and student response questionnaires). The validator consists of 3 expert lecturers, namely material, language and design validators. Based on the teaching materials that have been developed, the validation of electronic teaching materials which was carried out from the material aspect obtained a validity percentage of 90% with very valid criteria, from the language aspect obtained a validity percentage of 90.62% with very valid criteria and from the design aspect obtained a validity percentage of 88.15 % with valid criteria. Judging from the average validity of the teaching materials that have been developed, they meet the valid criteria with a validity percentage of 89.59%. The practicality test consisted of 1 class teacher and 25 students. From the results of the teacher's responses, a practicality percentage of 98% was obtained with very practical criteria and the results of responses by students were obtained with a practicality percentage of 92.25% with very practical criteria. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that electronic teaching materials for Mathematics learning based on Problem Based Learning meet valid and practical criteria that can be used in class IV mathematics learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Sudah diterima secara luas bahwa pemecahan masalah matematika adalah jantung dari pembelajaran matematika. Namun pada tataran implementasi didapatkan kenyataan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran berdasarkan pemecahan masalah matematika tidaklah mudah. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) Untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan Model Pembelajaran IKRAR untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika (2) Untuk mengetahui hasil pengembangan Model Pembelajaran IKRAR untuk kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dan (3) Mengetahui respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran IKRAR dalam pemecahan masalah matematika. Materi yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini adalah luas bangun datar siswa kelas VII semester 1 SMPN 7 Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan sebuah model pembelajaran konstruktivist-IKRAR (Inisiasi, Konstruksi-Rekonstruksi, Aplikasi, Refleksi) sebagai salah satu inovasi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang diadaptasi dari model pengembangan Borg & Gall, yang meliputi langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: (1) Penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi (2) Perencanaan (3) Pengembangan produk awal (4) Uji coba terbatas (5) Revisi produk awal (5) Uji coba lapangan, dan (6) Revisi produk akhir. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan mengacu pada prosedur pengembangan Plomp, meliputi: (1) penelitian awal, (2) fase prototipe,dan (3) fase penilaian (evaluasi semi-sumatif). Data kualitas perangkat pembelajaran dikumpulkan dengan lembar validasi, lembar keterlaksanaan, angket respons guru dan siswa, serta tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika. Penelitian ini telah berhasil mengembangakan model pembelajaran IKRAR untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika, khususnya pada materi perkalian, masih menjadi tantangan bagi siswa kelas III SDN 36/I Kilangan. Banyak siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal perkalian, terutama dengan angka yang lebih besar, serta bergantung pada alat bantu hitung. Selain itu, media pembelajaran belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal oleh pendidik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan media Batang Napier dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung perkalian serta menganalisis peningkatan kemampuan siswa setelah menggunakan media tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media Batang Napier dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung siswa secara signifikan. Pada siklus I, ketuntasan klasikal meningkat dari 22,22% pada pertemuan pertama menjadi 40% pada pertemuan kedua. Pada siklus II, ketuntasan klasikal naik dari 55,55% menjadi 88,88%. Selain itu, hasil tes juga menunjukkan peningkatan, di mana rata-rata nilai siswa pada siklus I sebesar 58% meningkat menjadi 81,11% pada siklus II. Dengan pencapaian ketuntasan klasikal yang melebihi kriteria keberhasilan (70%), penggunaan media Batang Napier terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung siswa. Oleh karena itu, media ini direkomendasikan untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika guna membantu siswa memahami konsep perkalian dengan lebih baik.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve students' creativity in writing scientific articles by applying the project-based Learning (PjBL) model. This type of research is classroom action research with four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research instrument used an observation sheet and a questionnaire for writing article creativity. Observations were carried out during learning, and a creativity questionnaire was given at the end of each cycle. Based on the study's results, it was obtained in cycle one that the indicator of fluent thinking creativity was 27% with a lesser category, cycle II 50% with a lesser category, and cycle II 75% with a good category. Then, the flexible thinking indicator in cycle 1 was 34% with a less category, cycle II 60% with a good category, and cycle III 71% with a good category. The original thinking indicator in cycle 1 was 28% with a less category, cycle II 62% with a good category, and cycle III 71% with a good category. The elaborative thinking indicator in cycle 1 was 33% with a less category, cycle II 63% with a good category, and cycle III 72% with a good category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to conduct a systematic literature review (SLR) on the utilization of gamification technology in primary school science learning. Gamification is a learning method that integrates game elements to increase student engagement in the learning process. In this study, researchers analyzed papers published between 2020 and 2024 that focused on the application of gamification in primary education. The research shows that gamification is effective in creating an interactive and fun learning environment and can increase students' science learning motivation. The method also helps teachers present material in a way that is more interesting and easy for students to understand. Therefore, the use of gamification in science learning not only improves learning outcomes but also encourages students to actively participate in the learning process. This study recommends that teachers consider using gamification as an innovative teaching strategy to achieve more optimal learning outcomes.

Abstract

Culturo-Techno-Contextual Approach (CTCA) is a new approach in science learning. CTCA integrates three main pillars: culture, technology and context, to create meaningful and relevant learning experiences for students. This research is a systematic review of 9 scopus and WoS indexed articles related to CTCA in science learning in 2019-2024. It addresses questions about the suitability of its application at the primary school level, as well as practical steps to implement it. Although CTCA has been widely applied at the upper secondary level, this research shows that the approach is also highly relevant for education in primary schools, where integrating local wisdom and technology can improve students' understanding of science materials. The findings highlight the importance of adapting learning methods that are responsive to students' needs and context, as well as the need for better introduction of technology in the learning process.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan pondasi penting dalam kemajuan dan perkembangan suatu negara. Melalui pendidikan, seseorang akan mengetahui berbagai macam ilmu pengetahuan lebih luas yang dapat berguna baginya untuk menuju masa depan. Seiring perkembangan zaman, kurikulum di Indonesia terus mengalami perubahan, dari tahun 1947 hingga Kurikulum Merdeka saat ini, yang bertujuan untuk menyesuaikan diri dengan perkembangan IPTEK dan harapan masyarakat. Namun, perubahan yang sering ini justru menimbulkan permasalahan dan hambatan dalam proses pendidikan. Artikel ini bertujuan membahas permasalahan pendidikan di Indonesia yang ditinjau dari aspek kurikulum. Metode yang di gunakan adalah studi literatur seperti jurnal, buku, dan lain sebagainya. Hasil studi literatur yang didapatkan bahwa ada empat isu utama yang menghambat implementasi kurikulum yaitu infrasruktur pendidikan yang kurang memadai, ketidaksesuaian kurikulum dengan kebutuhan siswa, kurangnya kualitas/kompetensi tenaga pengajar dan beban materi yang terlalu padat. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, diperlukan langkah strategis yang komprehensif, seperti peningkatan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan, penyusunan kurikulum yang fleksibel dan relevan dengan kebutuhan peserta didik, penguatan kompetensi tenaga pendidik melalui pelatihan berkelanjutan, serta penyederhanaan materi pembelajaran agar lebih fokus pada pencapaian kompetensi esensial. Dengan adanya sinergi antara pemerintah, pendidik, dan masyarakat, diharapkan sistem pendidikan di Indonesia dapat lebih adaptif, berkualitas, dan mampu mencetak generasi yang unggul sesuai dengan tuntutan zaman.

Abstract

Learning is a process or effort made by each individual to achieve behavior change, either in the form of knowledge, skills, attitudes, positive values, and experiences from various sources studied. Therefore, to help students acquire this knowledge, a learning approach that meets the requirements of the current curriculum is needed: a scientific approach.. The purpose of this study is to describe and describe the phenomena that occur when the application of a scientific approach in realizing 21st century learning. The method used in this study is qualitative with a phenomenological type of research with the research subject of fourth grade teachers at SD Negeri 111/I Muara Bulian Tahun Lesson 2021/2022. The data obtained are observations, interviews, and documentation which are then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the application of the scientific approach in realizing 21st century learning in grade IV SDN 111/I Muara Bulian was by implementing the steps of the scientific approach activity known as 5M: Observing, Questioning, Trying, reasoning, and communicating and integrating it with 21st century skills.
