Abstract

Motor vehicle tax is a strategic source of regional revenue; however, taxpayer compliance remains a persistent challenge. This study aims to analyze the influence of taxpayer awareness, tax sanctions, tax socialization, and service quality on motor vehicle taxpayer compliance in Pati Regency. Data were collected through a questionnaire survey involving 100 respondents selected via accidental sampling. The analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that all independent variables have a positive and significant effect on compliance. These results underscore that enhanced awareness, effective enforcement of sanctions, intensified outreach, and optimal public service are key factors in determining tax compliance. This study provides empirical evidence to inform local fiscal strategies tailored to the characteristics of taxpayers. Policy implications underscore the need for an integrated approach that combines educational and preventive measures, supported by technological innovations in tax services. Strengthening compliance is expected to optimize local revenue and support infrastructure development, as well as improve public service delivery.

Abstract

Giant Cell Tumor (GCT) is a primary neoplasm that is intermediate malignant, characterized by aggressive local growth and the possibility of metastasis, especially to the lungs. Giant Cell Tumor (GCT) occurs in bones, tendons, and soft tissues. The purpose of this literature study is to identify differences in GCT manifestations in various anatomical locations, evaluate risk factors that contribute to tumor growth and recurrence, and assess the effectiveness of various therapeutic modalities that have been used, both conservative and operative. The method used is a literature study by reviewing various scientific journals obtained from the database. The findings show that Giant Cell Tumor (GCT) is a group of neoplasms that are histologically similar but have different clinical, molecular characteristics, and anatomical locations, including GCT in bones (GCTB), tendons (GCTTS), and soft tissues (GCTST). Although generally classified as benign, GCT can be locally aggressive with a risk of recurrence and in some cases is capable of metastasis, especially to the lungs. GCTB is most commonly found in the long bones of individuals aged 20–40 years and is characterized by the H3F3A mutation, which is an important diagnostic marker. GCTTS, which originates in the synovium, is more common in women aged 30–50 years and shows increased CSF1 expression due to a genetic translocation.

Abstract

Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) is a disorder in which the body's immune system attacks the peripheral nervous system due to molecular mimicry, characterized by progressive muscle weakness from distal to proximal. This systematic review examines the relationship between vaccination and the risk of GBS. Epidemiological data indicate that the incidence of GBS after vaccination is very low. Although there is a link between vaccination and GBS in some cases, the risk remains smaller than the risk of GBS due to natural infection with the pathogen. This study emphasizes that the benefits of vaccination in preventing infection outweigh the risk of vaccination causing GBS. Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) is a disorder in which the body's immune system attacks the peripheral nervous system due to molecular mimicry, causing muscle weakness that progresses rapidly to paralysis. From this literature review, it can be concluded that the risk of GBS after vaccination is very low and is limited to certain vaccines. Furthermore, GBS cases occur more frequently after viral or bacterial infections than after vaccination, indicating that the benefits of vaccination in preventing infectious diseases far outweigh the risk of causing GBS.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The rubber commodity in Ogan Ilir Regency plays an important role in increasing family income, but currently the income of rubber farmers is still relatively low because farmers are still traditional in their marketing, causing the prices received by farmers to be low. The aim of this research is to determine the existing rubber marketing channels in Ogan Ilir. Sampling was carried out randomly. 75 samples were used in this research, with a population of rubber farmers, namely 236 farmers in Tanjung Batu District and 254 in Payaraman District. Locations were chosen purposively based on the same considerations, namely the subdistricts and villages that produce the largest rubber production. Data collection uses cross-section data. Rubber marketing efficiency is analyzed using marketing margin, farmer's share, profit to cost ratio and the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model. The research results show that rubber farmers in Ogan Ilir Regency use three marketing channel patterns. The most efficient marketing channel is marketing channel 1, namely (1) farmer-UPPB-factory and marketing channel 2 is an inefficient channel Keywords : marketing channel efficiency; rubber; UPPB.

Abstract

Iron deficiency anemia remains a significant global health issue, particularly among young adults. Medical students are theoretically expected to possess superior nutritional literacy compared to the general population due to their academic exposure to metabolism and digestive systems. However, a gap often exists between theoretical knowledge and daily dietary practices. This article reviews the literature regarding the relationship between nutritional knowledge levels and iron intake adequacy. The review highlights that nutritional knowledge involves cognitive levels ranging from recalling information to evaluation. Iron metabolism is complex, involving heme and non-heme iron absorption, which is significantly influenced by enhancers and inhibitors. Despite having high nutritional knowledge, medical students' eating behaviors are increasingly determined by modern lifestyle factors, including social media trends and fast-food consumption, which may compromise iron intake. Conclusively, bridging the gap between knowledge and practice requires not just memorization but the application of balanced nutrition principles (Tumpeng Gizi Seimbang) to ensure optimal iron bioavailability.
