Abstract

The background of this community service is the increasing need for Hajj pilgrims to deeply understand the proper procedures of Hajj and the ethical conduct during the pilgrimage (akhlakul haj), especially when facing cultural and physical challenges in Saudi Arabia. Many pilgrims have limited knowledge about the rituals and feel anxious about adapting to the local culture. Therefore, this Hajj guidance program was designed to provide both theoretical and practical understanding of the proper Hajj rituals and the ethical behavior to maintain during the pilgrimage. The main objective of this program is to enhance the pilgrims' readiness in terms of technical, mental, and spiritual aspects, while equipping them with the ability to adapt to the Arab customs. The methods employed include delivering theoretical materials on Hajj, interactive discussions, practical Hajj simulations, and evaluation and reflection sessions. The results of this community service show a significant increase in the participants' understanding, both technically and spiritually. Participants became more prepared physically and mentally to perform Hajj after the practical simulations, and they also gained a deeper understanding of the importance of maintaining ethical conduct and interacting respectfully with the local community in Saudi Arabia. This program successfully provided pilgrims with adequate preparation for the profound spiritual journey in the Holy Land.

Abstract

Dalam pandangan wawasan nusantara, jumlah penduduk di Indonesia yang besar disamping menjadi hambatan juga menjadi kekuatan dalam membangun bagsa. tetapi hal tersebut harus diimbangi dengan kualitas dari penduduk itu sendiri jangan sampai malah membebani negara dengan banyaknya pengangguran. Di era sekarang orang yang eksis adalah orang yang mempunyai kemampuan dan ketangguhan dalam mempertahankan hidupnya. lapangan kerja tidak sebanding dengan tenaga kerja, untuk itu perlu adanya edukasi kepada masyarakat tentang bagaimana mensikapi hal tersebut, salah satu usaha adalah memberi bekal ketrampilan kepada masyarakat khususnya usia kerja, agar bisa bersaing di dunia kerja maupun membuka usaha sendiri yang otomatis juga membuka lapangan kerja. pemerintah dengan kementerian tenaga kerjanya banyak membuka pendidikan dan pelatihan sebagai sarana dalam memberikan bekal ketrapilan kepada masyarakat. disamping itu banyak institusi pendidikan dengan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat memberikan edukasi dan ketrampilan agar masyarakat khususnya usia kerja dapat berwirausaha dan tidak bergantung kepada pemerintah, sehingga Bersama-sama dengan pemerintah mengurangi jumlah pengangguran yang ada di sekitarnya.

Abstract

Character building is an important part of forming personality student's personality since an early age. Research This aims to analyze management strategies for education character based on religion at Al Amin Cemani Elementary School, as well as the impact of character development on students. The method used is a qualitative case study. Data collected through interviews with head schools, teachers, and students, as well as observation of activity learning and exploration documents. Research results show that the SD Al Amin management strategy uses the P-O-A-C pattern with optimized educator instruction, guiding, and providing exemplary education to participants, educating with empowering use in a way maximum to the means of the owned school. Impact of management strategy education based on this religion shows on the achievement competence of students in the educational process character. Test results material religious reach score 86.38, education morals noble average Very Good (A), and participants ' ability to memorize part Juz Amma of the Quran. Research recommends the need for schools to complete facilities and infrastructure,e schooasasexpansionn page premises, mosque expansion, additions to bathrooms and toilets, additions and extensions place of abl facilities, procurement of a religious laboratory, and facilities adequate to support the education process at the school. Abstract

Modernitas dan kapitalisme telah menjadi paradigma dominan dalam analisis sosial dan ekonomi kontemporer, terutama melalui pemikiran Karl Marx dan Max Weber. Marx menekankan determinisme ekonomi dengan konsep base determines superstructure, sedangkan Weber menyoroti rasionalisasi sebagai faktor utama perkembangan kapitalisme. Kedua pemikiran ini cenderung mengabaikan dimensi spiritual dan etika dalam pembentukan tatanan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kritik Islam terhadap determinisme ekonomi Marx dan rasionalisasi sosial Weber dengan menggunakan pendekatan tafsir sosial dalam filsafat Islam. Penelitian ini menjawab dua pertanyaan utama: (1) Bagaimana filsuf Muslim mengkritik determinisme ekonomi dalam pemikiran Marx? (2) Bagaimana Islam memberikan alternatif terhadap rasionalisasi sosial Weber yang mengarah pada sekularisasi? Untuk menjawab pertanyaan tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan metode tafsir berbasis analisis historis dan konseptual terhadap karya-karya Marx dan Weber, serta gagasan filsuf Muslim seperti Ibn Khaldun, Al-Farabi, dan Muhammad Iqbal. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Islam menolak reduksi sosial hanya pada faktor ekonomi sebagaimana dikemukakan oleh Marx. Ibn Khaldun, melalui konsep asabiyyah, menegaskan bahwa solidaritas sosial dan moral memainkan peran penting dalam perkembangan peradaban. Islam juga mengkritik modernitas Weberian yang menekankan rasionalisasi sekuler dengan mengabaikan nilai-nilai transendental. Muhammad Iqbal, misalnya, mengkritik modernitas yang memisahkan manusia dari dimensi spiritualnya, sehingga menciptakan alienasi eksistensial. Sebagai alternatif, Islam menawarkan paradigma sosial yang berbasis keseimbangan (wasathiyyah), bahwa ekonomi, rasionalitas, dan spiritualitas saling melengkapi dalam membangun peradaban yang berkeadilan. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam memperkaya wacana teori sosial Islam sebagai alternatif terhadap dominasi kapitalisme dan modernitas sekuler. Dengan pendekatan tafsir, kajian ini memberikan perspektif baru dalam membangun model peradaban yang tidak hanya berorientasi pada kemajuan material, tetapi juga pada keadilan sosial dan spiritualitas.

Abstract

As leaders on earth, humans are required to help each other. No one can fulfill their own needs, everyone depends on others. Thomas Hobbes popularized the term Homo Homini Lupus, which means humans are wolves of other humans, and humans will eat other humans who are weaker. But there is also an opposite term, namely Homo Homini Socius, which means humans as social creatures who are friends with other humans, need each other, do not rely on themselves and carry out their roles according to their functions and duties. Islam as the religion of rahmatan lil alamin teaches us that a believer is a brother to another believer. For this reason, we need to help each other in goodness. Islam views the obligations of a believer towards other believers, one of which is in caring for his body, starting from washing, praying and burying. Islam teaches us ways to care for corpses that are in accordance with Islamic teachings and do not conflict with the Shari'a. For this reason, it is necessary to disseminate understanding, education and practice to the community on how to properly care for the bodies of Muslims.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of teacher leadership on the learning achievement of eighth-grade students in the Fiqh subject at the Tahfidzul Qur’an Abi-Ummi Islamic Boarding School, Boyolali, during the 2024/2025 academic year. The research is grounded on the importance of teachers as learning leaders who not only transfer knowledge but also shape students’ character and learning motivation within an Islamic education framework. The study employs a quantitative approach with an associative design. The population consists of 169 students, and a sample of 42 respondents was selected through random sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and documentation, then analyzed using validity, reliability, normality, linearity, and Pearson Product Moment correlation tests. The findings show that teacher leadership implementation is at a fairly good level with an average score of 70, while students’ Fiqh achievement is at a moderate level with an average score of 92. The hypothesis test yields a correlation coefficient of 0.990, indicating a strong and significant positive relationship between teacher leadership and students’ Fiqh achievement. The implication of this study suggests that improving teacher leadership through professional development and pedagogical competence enhancement can significantly foster better learning outcomes and character building among students in tahfidz-based Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the efforts made by teachers in raising awareness of the importance of parental involvement in educating children. This type of research is qualitative research with the research location of SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta, and the data collection techniques used are interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the efforts made by teachers in fostering parental awareness are by building good communication with parents.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how much influence the skills of asking questions to the teacher have on student learning outcomes in PAI class VIIB SMP Al-Amaanah Matesih Karanganyar for the 2022/2023 academic year. This research uses a descriptive quantitative method. The population in this study were students of class VIIB SMP Al-Amaanah Matesih Karanganyar. The sampling technique used in this study was simple random sampling. The sample used was 32 students. The prerequisite test calculations in this study used the normality test with a sig. 0.05. Based on the data from the Kolmogorof-Smirnov test, it is known that the asymp sig. (2-tailed) significance value is 0.123 > 0.05, meaning that the residual values are normally distributed. The data analysis method used is simple linear regression analysis with an error rate of 5%. Regression coefficients were obtained for components a = 22.49, and b = 0.249. Then it can be obtained regression Y = 22.49 + 0.249X so that it is known that a positive value at a constant of 22.49 indicates that the teacher's questioning skills have a positive influence on student learning outcomes. The questioning skill teacher at SMP Al-Amaanah Matesih Karanganyar obtained a score of 62.5% with a total of 23 respondents, this shows that the teacher's skill ability is in a moderate position. The value of the coefficient of determination (R-square) is 0.139 or 13.9%. This means that the magnitude of the influence of the teacher's questioning skills on student learning outcomes is only 13.9%, the rest is influenced by other factors. Based on the calculation results of the product-moment correlation analysis, the results obtained are recounted 0.373 > table 0.349 so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, it is stated that there is an influence of the teacher's questioning skills on student learning outcomes.
