Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada konsep Jamur (studi eksperimen di kelas X SMA Negeri 8 Kota Tasikmalaya tahun ajaran 2017/2018). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari 2018 sampai dengan bulan Mei 2018 di SMA Negeri 8 Kota Tasikmalaya. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pre eksperimental. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 8 Kota Tasikmalaya sebanyak dua kelas, dengan jumlah peserta didik sebanyak 178 orang. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 35 orang peserta didik di kelas X MIA 4 dan di kelas X MIA 3 sebanyak 36 orang peserta didik di SMA Negeri 8 Kota Tasikmalaya. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling (penentuan dengan pertimbangan tertentu). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes hasil belajar peserta didik pada konsep Jamur. Tes ini berupa pilihan majemuk sebanyak 30 butir soal dengan lima option. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t dengan taraf nyata α = 0,01. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh pengunaan model discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada konsep Jamur di kelas X SMA Negeri 8 Kota Tasikmalaya tahun ajaran 2017/2018.

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran problem solving terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada sub konsep Pencemaran Lingkungan di kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Kawali. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei 2018 sampai dengan bulan Juni 2018 di SMA Negeri 1 Kawali. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode true eksperimental design dengan populasi kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Kawali, sebanyak 6 kelas dengan jumlah peserta didik 215 orang. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling sebanyak 2 kelas, yaitu kelas X MIPA 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X MIPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik, digunakan instrumen berupa uraian (essay) berjumlah 10 butir soal. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji ANCOVA (Analysis of covariance) dengan α 0,05. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai N-Gain pada kemampuan berpikir kritis di kelas eksperimen dengan kategori sedang. Sedangkan untuk nilai N-Gain kemampuan berpikir kritis di kelas control diperoleh kategori rendah. Uji ANCOVA ditunjukan dengan signifikansi corrected model sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga Ho ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran problem solving terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis. Kata Kunci : model pembelajaran problem solving, kemampuan berpikir kritis dan Pencemaran Lingkungan.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui korelasi kemampuan berpikir reflektif terhadap self-confidence peserta didik di kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Talaga. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni 2020. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah korelasional dengan populasi seluruh kelas X MIPA sebanyak 7 kelas dengan jumlah peserta didik berjumlah 252 orang. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling berupa kelas X MIPA 6. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan terdiri dari instrumen tes untuk kemampuan berpikir reflektif dan kuisioner untuk self-confidence. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji korelasi bivariate dan uji regresi sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat korelasi kemampuan berpikir reflektif terhadap self-confidence (R= 0.633; R Square= 0.401). Sehingga kontribusi dari kemampuan berpikir reflektif terhadap self-confidence sebesar 40.1%.

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to determine the effect of science technology and society (STS) learning model on the learning outcomes of student on the sub concepts of the global warming in class VII SMP Negeri 5 Tasikmalaya.This research was conducted in December 2017 until Juni 2018 at SMP Negeri 5 Tasikmalaya. The research method used is the "true experiment" method with the population of all classes VII SMP Negeri 5 Tasikmalaya, as many as 12 classes with the number of students 368 people. Samples were taken using cluster random sampling technique of 2 classes, namely class VII G as experimental class and VII F as control class. The instrument used is the test technique of student learning outcomes on the sub concepts global warming. This written test be in the form of multiple choice with four choices. Data analysis technique used is t test with α 0.05.The results showed that there is influence of science technology and society (STS) learning model on student learning outcomes on the sub concepts of the global warming in class VII SMP Negeri 5 Tasikmalaya Keywords : science technology and society (STS) learning model, learning outcomes of students, and global warming.

Population growth is in line with the increasing volume of waste generated, so that it has an impact on the increase in the location of landfills in temporary disposal sites (TPS) and landfills (TPA). Piles of runny rubbish often cause the degradation of groundwater quality. This study aims to determine the biological, physical, and chemical properties of groundwater originating from one of the TPS with different depths and distances. The research method used is an experiment which is further described qualitatively. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Botany, Department of Biology, Universitas Siliwangi for four months. The material used in this study is ground water taken from one of the polling stations in the City of Tasikmalaya with different distances and depths. The instrument used was the observation guide analysed at PT Sucofindo. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that all parameters observed are biological content, physical content and chemical content in groundwater as a whole polluted by alkali.

Problem solving abilities and critical thinking skills are 21st century skills that need to be developed with efforts to apply innovative learning models, namely double loop problem solving model. This study aims to determine the effect of the double loop problem solving model on students' problem solving abilities and critical thinking skills. The research method uses a quasi experiment with a nonequivalent control group research design. Data collection techniques using pretest and posttest. The data is processed by conducting analysis prerequisite tests in the form of a normality test, homogeneity test while the hypothesis test uses the one way ANOVA and post hoc follow-up tests. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the double loop problem solving learning model on the problem solving abilities and critical thinking skills of students on biodiversity material in class X MIPA SMAN 4 Tasikmalaya in the 2022/2023 academic year

This study aims to map the innovation potential of Lecturers. Aspects of the study include competence, demography and socio-culture with work mindset variables, entrepreneurial attitudes, and Study Program development innovations. Next studied the relationship between these variables. Data collection was carried out by random sampling via electronics to the lecturer population at Faculty of Teacher Training Education. The results of the returned and valid questionnaire were 33 samples. Descriptive data processing of each component is studied one by one and analyzed followed by a simple correlation test, using SPSS software. The results of the study show that demographically and socio-culturally the lecturers have positive potential with high confidence from the dimensions of the work mindset and entrepreneurial attitude at a sufficient stage to carry out innovations in the development of the Study Program. Meanwhile, between one variable and another, there is no correlation with the innovation of the Study Program development. This research paved the way that faculty collaborative programs related to innovation in the development of Study Program with stakeholders to increase the social cohesiveness and entrepreneurial attitudes of lecturers. It is necessary to improve the quality of innovation collaboration between lecturers and colleagues to face the demands of competitiveness in the digital era. Further studies are needed on the innovation model of Study Program development for the synergy of work mindsets, entrepreneurial attitudes with innovation in the development of Study Program for all faculties in the university.

Students need their own arguing skills in learning process. Based on the observation, it is known that not all students have the same courage to express their opinions, both verbally and written. This leads to a lack of understanding of the media design content being studied by education participants. The application of the Concept Attainment learning model is expected to train students how to construct their own concepts and be able to express them verbally. This study aims to determine the effect of concept attainment learning model on students' argumentative skills and concept understanding of angiosperms subject in class X MIPA SMAN 5 Tasikmalaya. This study used a quasi-experimental research method with a research design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all students of X MIPA SMAN 5 Tasikmalaya of seven classes with a total number of 245 students. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, with the samples used class X MIPA 3 as the experimental class and X MIPA 5 as the control class with a total number of 72 students. The instruments used in this study consisted of 5 argumentative ability test questions and 10 concept understanding questions. The data analysis technique used in this research is parametric statistical data analysis technique. Data is processed by conducting prerequisite analysis in the form of a normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing using one way ANOVA test. The results showed that there was a significant effect of the concept attainment learning model on students' argumentative skills and concept understanding with a significance value of (0.000). Based on these positive results, it can be used as a reference for educators to use concept attainment models that support teaching and learning activities.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh blended learning menggunakan quipper school terhadap hasil belajar biologi pada materi sistem ekskresi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2021 sampai bulan Agustus 2022. Metode penelitian yang digunakan quasi experiment dengan menggunakan desain penelitian the nonequivalent control grup design. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 8 Tasikmalaya sebanyak 6 kelas yang terdiri dari 181 peserta didik dan sampel yang digunakan 2 kelas diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu kelas XI MIPA 5 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI MIPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan soal pilhan majemuk untuk memperoleh data hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi Sistem Ekskresi Manusia. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t independen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, hasil pengolahan data, dan pengujian hipotesis dapat disimpulkan bahwa blended learning menggunakan quipper school pada materi sistem ekskresi di kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 8 Tasikmalaya memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik yang signifikan terutama terhadap aspek C1 (Mengingat). Perolehan skor rata-rata pretest pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 14,31 dan posttest sebesar 23,55 sedangkan perolehan skor rata-rata pretest pada kelas kontrol sebesar 13,93 dan posttest sebesar 21,30

Praktikum keragaman genetik makhluk hidup sangat penting bagi siswa MTs tetapi keterampilan guru-guru MTs swasta di Kecamatan Ternate Selatan masih kurang dalam berpraktikum dan jarang mendapatkan workshop sejenis. Pengabdian yang dilakukan dengan metode pelatihan dan pendampingan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan keterampilan bagi guru IPA MTs swasta se-Kecamatan Ternate Selatan dalam melaksanakan praktikum keragaman genetik makhluk hidup dengan menggunakan objek tumbuhan sekitar sekolah. Metode yang digunakan ialah pelatihan dan pendampingan mulai dari merencanakan dan pemilihan sampel tumbuhan, menentukan karakter, menghitung persamaan, hingga mendesain dendrogram secara manual dan menggunakan software PAST 4.1. Dua belas guru yang mengikuti pelatihan menunjukan keterampilan membuat dendogram dengan nilai rata-rata 81. Pelatihan praktikum keragaman genetika sangat penting karena dapat membantu para guru MTs dalam menerapkan praktikum di MTs Kota Ternate.
